For several days, she spent her time in the palace without any excitement. The work was quite easy; she just helped with fetching water, cleaning the floors, and doing laundry. However, she no longer had the chance to see the Crown Prince, and even Dian Yin was hard to come by.
She was not someone who could easily be confined. Arriving at the palace was nothing like the fun she had imagined; there were numerous rules binding her. Feeling lost and disheartened, she looked up at the sky as it began to darken, preparing to return to her room for rest. Just as she was halfway there, a shout came from behind.
"Hey, you in front... stop. I'm talking about you."
Yui glanced around to confirm that no one else was nearby before stopping and turning around. Eunuch rushed up behind her, panting heavily.
It was him again... what a coincidence. Just when she was bored, he showed up. Yui couldn't help but smile brightly.
Her voice carried a hint of excitement, "Master, is there something you need?" Even if there wasn't, she'd make it seem like there was!
To her surprise, Master pushed her shoulder firmly, directing her towards a palace. "Go to Nurturing Hall to attend to the Crown Prince's bedtime. Hurry." After saying that, he gave her another shove.
Before she could gather her thoughts, Eunuch hurriedly ran off to the restroom.
"Hey..." Yui's voice faded into the night. Attend to the Crown Prince? Wasn't that like playing with fire? That damn Eunuch, it seemed the lesson she gave him wasn't enough.
A glint of mischief flashed in Yui's eyes as her fingers moved subtly; a light blue aura shot out. Hmph, she turned gracefully, thinking he'd be stuck there until tomorrow.
The long night stretched on, and sleep eluded her. After all, the Crown Prince was just an ordinary person; she didn't believe she couldn't outsmart him! Resolute in her decision, Yui straightened her back and headed towards the Crown Prince's palace.
Yui had been wandering in this palace for a few days, but the palace was simply too vast, and she wasn't familiar with the usual paths. As she walked, she lost track of where she was going and unknowingly entered a bamboo grove.
The bamboo grove was serene, making it hard to imagine that such a place existed within a gilded palace. Unable to resist her curiosity, Yui slowly stepped further inside.
