Yui was slightly taken aback and pretended to casually look away, avoiding eye contact with the pathogen until she understood whether she was sick.
"You... you're awake?" Yui stammered as she spoke, flustered and trying to leave.
The Crown Prince grasped her hand tightly. "Are you afraid of me?"
Yui felt as if she had been electrocuted and wanted to shake off his hand, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't break free.
"I'm... not afraid," her voice grew a little louder, but upon seeing his eyes, she couldn't help but lower her voice again.
Yui bit her lip in frustration, wishing she could slap herself for being so useless.
The Crown Prince's hand slowly caressed her face; the gentle touch made her body feel particularly sensitive. Yui couldn't react at all and could only hold her breath as she stared at the face that was getting closer.
"Then why are you avoiding me?"
Yui's face instantly turned red, even her ears were burning. However, it was so obvious that she was avoiding him that it would be hard for anyone not to notice.

The Crown Prince smiled lightly, his usually dark and deep eyes now carrying a hint of tenderness.

A light question, yet it struck like a thunderclap, leaving Yui frozen in place, her back straightening and her eyes widening in shock.

Suddenly, the Crown Prince grabbed her and pinned her against the carriage wall, his gaze sharp as if he were sizing up meat on a chopping block.
Then he leaned down and forcefully pressed his lips against Yui's.
