Yui's mind was in chaos at the mention of those two words. Her Father had come??? And he knew about her situation???
It was over!!!!
Now, where could she escape to? She couldn't outmatch him; she would soon be caught by her Father. Should she obediently admit her mistakes, or should she struggle a bit?
Just as she was caught in this dilemma, a young eunuch stumbled in, followed closely by an Imperial Physician, panting heavily.
"Hurry up! The Crown Prince is gravely injured and returning to the palace. One wrong move and heads will roll."
"Yes, yes," the Imperial Physician replied nervously, wiping the sweat from his forehead and running even faster.
Yui's eyes widened. The Crown Prince was back at the palace? And injured? Did that little third party fail to protect him???
What should she do?
In the end, her concern outweighed everything else, and Yui quickly made her way toward the Eastern Palace.
The Eastern Palace was bustling with activity; the Emperor's consorts and the Imperial Physician filled the chambers to capacity. Even from outside, Yui could sense how lively it was inside. Anxious, she disregarded all formalities and was about to push her way in.
Suddenly, someone grabbed her elbow.
Yui turned her head and saw Eunuch, truly a case of enemies crossing paths.
"Let go."
Eunuch smiled strangely, "Yui, are you sure you want to speak to me in that tone?"
Yui was solely focused on the injury of the Prince inside and didn't notice his expression. Angrily, she said, "Hurry up and let go, do you believe I can take you down with just one finger?"
"Is that so?"
Suddenly, she was struck by something and fell to the ground, wincing in pain.
"You..."
In front of her, Eunuch abruptly changed form, his burly figure looming large in Yui's eyes.
Yui quickly got up and exclaimed in terror, "Father!"
The scene shifted, and the two were now standing in a desolate mountain wilderness.
Rain God's gaze turned cold, "Hmph, ungrateful child, do you still remember your Father?"
Yui knelt down with a thud and softly whined, "Of course I remember, I love Father the most."
"Smooth talk won't help you. Do you know what mistakes you've made?" The Rain God looked at her with disappointment, listing her offenses one by one.
