In this world, two factions are engaged in a game of chess. One side represents the Eastern yellow race, while the other represents the Western white and black races. Because they cannot appear on Earth in their own forms or reveal themselves in certain aspects, they can only cultivate some of humanity's more intelligent elites to form organizations that execute their plans. From the current situation, it seems that the Eastern side has lost to the Western side.
“Mysterious forces?” I swallowed hard and asked with curiosity, “What kind of power? Aliens...?”
Qu Elder merely smiled cryptically without confirming or denying anything, which only heightened our curiosity.
“I want to know about Ying Zheng.” At that moment, Lime unexpectedly spoke up.
Knowing about Lime's situation, Qu Elder was not surprised and directly answered us: “As for Qin Shi Huang, well, according to what we know, he was controlled by a mysterious organization since childhood and never had freedom; he was like a puppet and ultimately met his demise at their hands. I had never heard of Qinhuangdao before; however, why did Liu Bowen from the Ming Dynasty come into play?
Listening to Elder Qu continue his explanation, the story goes back to the Ming Dynasty, when Liu Bowen, a subordinate of Zhu Yuanzhang, observed the stars at night and predicted that hundreds of years later, a true Sage would be reincarnated at the foot of Qinhuangdao and Shanhaiguan. He then went to receive orders from Zhu Yuanzhang and, together with Xu Da, constructed Shanhaiguan, while also establishing the Dragon Binding Barrier there. The purpose was to protect the future reincarnation of the Sage born here, preventing others from predicting its location. In his prophecy, it was indicated that the true Sage would be in Yan Nan and Zhao Bei, specifically in the regions of Qinhuangdao and Bohai Sea.
The Old Dragon Head of Shanhaiguan is where Liu Bowen set up the Dragon Trapping Formation. The term "Dragon Head" signifies the starting point of the dragon, where all spiritual energy converges. For two thousand years, no significant figure has emerged from Qinhuangdao; however, its feng shui is exceptional, possessing powerful spiritual energy. This suggests that perhaps two thousand years of feng shui have nurtured the birth of a great individual. The Old Dragon Head built by Liu Bowen absorbed this fortune, making it the most likely place for the birth of someone destined to become Qin Shi Huang.
Just imagine, what kind of person could emerge from two thousand years of accumulated fortune?
The Great Wall stretches across all Dragon Veins in China, with Shanhaiguan's Old Dragon Head marking its starting point—the apex of all Dragon Veins and the deepest source of spiritual energy. It is astonishing that such abundant spiritual energy has not yet given rise to a significant figure; this implies that all this energy may have been concentrated into one entity. After two thousand years of nurturing, only one person has emerged. Additionally, with many Dragon Veins sealed off, spiritual energy can only rise; thus, it all flows to Shanhaiguan. The more severed Dragon Veins there are, the more spiritual energy accumulates above.
Qinhuangdao and Shanhaiguan represent the brain of the dragon, while Xi'an is its heart—both places are crucial. The heart symbolizes the origin of life, while the brain represents the beginning of wisdom. Therefore, it is reasonable for a life born from two millennia of nurturing in the brain to journey to the dragon's heart to retrieve treasures from Qin Emperor's Tomb.
Due to an overflow of dragon energy at Shanhaiguan, some has spread to the three northeastern provinces and even into Korea. However, this portion of dragon energy is not true dragon energy; it carries impurities that can lead individuals to become fierce and aggressive, giving rise to various warlords during the Republic era.
The treasures within the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor are sufficient to create an entirely new nation with power rivaling that of America. Historical records indeed support this; according to "Three Auxiliary Stories," after Chu Bawang Xiang Yu entered the pass with an army of three hundred thousand men to loot the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, a golden goose suddenly flew out from the tomb and headed south.
Centuries later, during the Three Kingdoms period (Year of the Precious Cauldron), an official named Zhang Shan served as governor in Rinan. One day, he received a golden goose as a gift and immediately deduced from its inscriptions that it originated from the Mausoleum.
Is there any historical basis for this miraculous legend?
Modern scholars have pointed out: "Although this is a legendary story, it indicates that artifacts from Qinling once flowed outward and reached as far as southern Yunnan. As for whether golden geese were intricately crafted and capable of flight, this is plausible. During the Spring and Autumn period, renowned craftsman Lu Ban could already create wooden geese that flew into Song's city. Centuries later, craftsmen from Qin State could produce flying golden geese; this is credible."
Regarding the high-tech construction techniques used in Qin Emperor's Tomb that modern methods struggle to match: historically, the Guanzhong region has experienced earthquakes exceeding magnitude eight; yet, the Mausoleum remains intact. This is closely related to the sturdiness of its walls!
