Chapter 222: The Planned World
Am I really Feng Zi?
Does this body truly belong to me?
"Since ancient times, this world has been planned!"
As I held my head in pain and confusion, a cold voice came from afar. I raised my consciousness to look, but… wait, I couldn't see anything at all?
The voice echoed in my ears again, but it was not the same as before. "Ancestor Master, what does this mean?" The voice was young, likely belonging to a young man.
I heard him sigh, "Since ancient times, the planet we inhabit has been ruled by a mysterious force. More and more information has revealed fragments of the truth, either hinting or misleading. History is like a little girl dressed up by others; what you see in this world is all that they want you to see."
"So what is the truth?" another person asked in confusion.
Before he could answer, someone rushed over, seemingly shouting something about "not good, something has happened." I tried hard to get up and listen, but I couldn't move at all. After a flurry of footsteps, it seemed that someone called Ancestor Master had left.
After a long silence, I don't know how much time passed before voices surrounded me again. The younger voice from earlier was still there, curiously asking another person, "Brother, what did Ancestor Master just mean? What does it mean that our world is all planned?"
I was also very curious and puzzled by this question, so I perked up my ears to listen carefully. Since I couldn't move and felt quite uncomfortable, another person spoke up. However, their voice sounded a bit weary and seemed quite old.
The voice of the person referred to as Ancestor Master was relatively young? I was confused about the relationships and ages of these people.
"The human world has always been controlled. A huge conspiracy has been brewing since ancient times, involving the past, present, and future—a trinity of three souls. The past, present, and future are actually occurring simultaneously, and time is reversible."
The young man seemed to understand only partially and then said, "Brother, Ancestor Master went to meet that mysterious person who suddenly appeared, right? Is he similar to that person?"
"Yes," the older man replied and continued, "That person originally does not belong to this timeline. His appearance may be intended to change the order of time and alter the future. Alas, the affairs of the world are unpredictable; perhaps those people did not foresee this."
"Will he succeed or fail?"

I couldn't hear the conversation clearly below; it seemed they were talking while leaving, and the surroundings returned to a pitch-black silence. I felt extremely cold, as if lying in an ice cellar, unable to move my body, not even able to open my eyes, let alone speak.
However, if what just happened wasn't an illusion but a reality...
Can I speculate that the Ancestor Master is actually the leader of the Demon Clan? After all, back in the Ghost Clan Tomb, the spirit in the Crystal Coffin said just that to Lime!
That's right, it makes a lot of sense!
Lime must have had contact with the Demon Clan! So, when they mentioned something about not belonging to this time and space, were they referring to that unidentified person as Lime!?
I had always believed Lime's story about crossing over to the Qin Dynasty. Now hearing all this, I don't know if I'm just imagining things or what.
My head started to ache again. Unconsciously, that "Zi" seemed to have disappeared somewhere. I had no idea who among us was the real Feng Zi.
But regardless, it's best to wake up quickly! Ever since entering this dark place that feels like a coffin, I've felt something very strange inside.
Just as I struggled to sit up, suddenly a sharp pain shot through my head. I wanted to hold my head and knock it lightly, but my arms wouldn't lift, and my hands wouldn't move. I could only passively endure this pain.
It seemed there were many voices around me—women's voices and men's voices; I could even hear the cries and laughter of infants. It was chaotic and indistinct, making my head hurt and feel annoyed!
Just when I thought I was about to enter another world, a piece of information flooded into my mind, as if it were a memorized text that suddenly came back to me...
Divine Decree Project?
Looking at the information in my mind, I was sure that this was something I had never seen before!
Divine Decree Project involves the origin of humanity. Evolutionary theory claims that humans evolved from monkeys, but this is merely a self-deceptive explanation filled with flaws. The Bible states that humans were created by God, while Eastern mythology says that humans were made from clay by Nüwa. However, both God and Nüwa are simply early human descriptions of the unknown.
God does exist in reality, but He is not an individual entity; rather, He is an organization composed of many people. Buddhism speaks of the Three Realms and Six Paths, which do not belong to the world where God resides. To be precise, God exists outside the Three Realms, which is why humanity cannot perceive His existence. Yet, He controls the Three Realms. The God Organization is not fixed; whoever holds the control over the Three Realms is considered God. The conflicts throughout history have been about vying for control over the Three Realms, and human struggles are just a part of it.
The Three Realms produce three types of usable resources:
First, human desires from the mortal realm!
Second, celestial emotions from the immortal realm!
Lastly, the hatred of Asuras from the demon realm!
Each type of resource represents an intangible wealth. What seems intangible to humanity is valuable in the eyes of those in control, serving as Treasure that can be utilized to create infinite things to prolong their own lives.
Humanity's short lifespan stems from excessive desires. If one has no desires or needs, their lifespan naturally increases. These desires transform into intangible energy wealth, which is given to the God Organization to sustain life. This leads to God's Eternal Life.
Gods exist in this universe like engineers, constantly building and destroying. Earth is their uniquely constructed prison that cannot be destroyed, while humanity is the seed sown within it. The Three Realms are essentially three cosmic prisons, and the Six Paths represent six rules.
Where there is oppression, there is resistance. Countless Cultivators have emerged throughout history. These so-called Cultivators are actually awakened beings attempting to enhance their abilities and escape the control of the Three Realms. However, as the saying goes, "the higher the path, the greater the magic." Under the control of the God Alliance, they merely create an illusion of achieving immortality; in reality, they are only slightly stronger than ordinary people.
In Ancient Times, humans originally had a lifespan of a thousand years. Later, fearing that humans could gain immense power through cultivation, the God Alliance modified their lifespan to around a hundred years. This prerequisite caused most people to lose their ability to resist God.
During the age of dinosaurs, reptiles ruled the Earth. The God Alliance genetically modified these reptiles; most could not withstand the transformation and died immediately, while a small portion successfully transformed into Lizardmen. Due to their larger size and brain capacity compared to dinosaurs, these transformed Lizardmen developed powerful brains that even rivaled those of the God Alliance. Gradually, they learned some technologies from the God Alliance and began to realize that Earth was a place for experimenting on them. At this point, the Lizardmen developed a bold idea: to challenge the God Alliance, replace God, and become the masters of the Three Realms and Six Paths.
The Lizardmen did not understand the true strength of the God Alliance and underestimated them. The God Alliance descended from above and eliminated most of the Lizardmen. The clever Lizardmen, in times of crisis, hid underground and refrained from further combat. Those underground developed advanced technology to reproduce. In this great war, the God Alliance also suffered significant losses and lost many capable warriors before returning to their homeland.

I just saw this part, and suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my chest. I opened my eyes, and at the same time, the scenery around me changed. Although it was still pitch black, I could sense that the environment had shifted. It was simply because there was someone lying on me!
Her body was warm and soft. My hands were wrapped around her waist, and I was overjoyed as I held her tightly. I quickly untied the ropes that bound us together because we had finally reached the end!
As I turned on the flashlight, I heard Xue Er's murmurs, which seemed to be filled with pain.
When the light hit her face, I suddenly realized that her complexion was pale, almost devoid of color! Cold Snow's brows were tightly furrowed, as if she had seen something truly terrifying, and her forehead was covered in cold sweat.
