Chapter 236: Divine Sign Is Not Immortality?

Without saying much more, Pei Zi and Xue Er arrived. Our group had been expelled in different directions; I didn’t know if it was intentional on Luo Yu's part or simply because we weren’t at the same location. Regardless, the secrets of Paradise Spirit Tower would remain forever mysterious; not all secrets are pleasant, and we didn’t need to know everything.
"Damn it, what’s going on?" Wang Yi cursed as he ran up to us, looking puzzled. Rubbing the back of his head, he asked, "Master Xian, two Brothers, what exactly happened?"
"Who knows? I guess when the time was up, they just spat us out!" Xianxian shrugged with an expression that clearly said she had no idea and didn’t want to be asked.
Lime and I exchanged amused glances but didn’t elaborate further.
"Xue Er, are you okay?" I grabbed Cold Snow's hand; it was still very cold, and her complexion looked poor. I immediately felt like I hadn’t fulfilled my responsibilities as a boyfriend.
Cold Snow shook her head. "I’m fine; I just dreamed about some terrifying things."
"Feng Zi, what’s going on?" Pei Zi frowned. I didn’t know what she had encountered either; she had various cuts and her clothes were torn in several places. It seemed she had gone through a fierce battle.
"This is so frustrating! I wasn’t done having fun yet!" Yu Yu looked displeased as he stared at the already vanished direction of Paradise Spirit Tower, as if he still couldn’t accept the fact that we were out.
I took a deep breath and decided not to tell them about the last thing we encountered for now. This was something only Lime, Xianxian, and I needed to know.
"Whatever! The important thing is that we're all fine, and most importantly, we found Lime. As for everything else, This Lord has no interest in knowing!" Xianxian said with her hands on her hips and an indifferent expression.
Seeing this, everyone stopped asking questions; only a few individuals continued muttering about being upset or confused.
"Hey, hey! What the hell! Boss, look at the time!" Wang Yi exclaimed incredulously. I looked over in confusion as Wang Yi continued in astonishment, "Isn’t the current time exactly when we entered Paradise Spirit Tower?!"
I took out my watch and indeed, the time difference was not much from when we entered! We had been inside for at least a day or two, but now it seemed like we had returned to the time before we went in! How strange!

I took out the vehicle from The Dead and had Sun Cheng from the Spirit Department drive. Inside the car, I felt that Lime, Xianxian, and I were quite tall and slim, so sitting together in the back didn’t feel cramped at all.
