After the Heavenly Sacrifice Ceremony, Emperor Huang summoned important generals such as Emperor Yan and Feng Hou to discuss how to deal with the potential threat from the Jiuli Tribe.
"Everyone, although Chiyou is dead, part of his power still lingers in the world, and sooner or later, he will return to seek revenge on us," Emperor Huang said solemnly, his expression grave.
"What?!" The attendees were taken aback; they had not expected that even after defeating the powerful Chiyou, there would still be such a significant hidden danger.
Feng Hou furrowed his brow and asked, "Your Majesty, how should we respond?"
"I believe we should strengthen our surveillance of the Jiuli Tribe. Once we discover any tribe members possessing Chiyou's Metal Power, we must immediately control them to prevent them from causing harm to the world," Emperor Huang stated firmly, having made his decision. "On the other hand, we need to find a way to neutralize Chiyou's Metal Power to completely eliminate this threat. Otherwise, it will lead to endless troubles!"
"Your Majesty is wise!" Everyone expressed their agreement.
"This matter is of great importance; we will do our utmost!" Emperor Yan was the first to declare, his tone filled with determination.
"I will send someone to search for a way to neutralize Chiyou's Metal Power," Feng Hou also stepped forward, volunteering for the task.
"Good, I will leave this matter in your hands," Emperor Huang nodded and assigned the task.
Thus began an operation to resolve the crisis...
====================
"Feng Hou, how is your investigation into neutralizing Chiyou's Metal Power progressing?" Emperor Huang stood with his hands clasped behind him, gazing into the distance with a hint of fatigue in his voice.
Feng Hou stepped forward and bowed, saying, "Your Majesty, I have traveled across the land and perused countless ancient texts, but I have found no method to resolve this issue." He paused, his brow furrowed and a troubled expression on his face. "The power of metal controlled by Chiyou comes from ancient secret arts, which are mysterious and unpredictable. We know very little about it..."
Emperor Huang remained silent. He knew that Feng Hou had done his best. The threat posed by Chiyou weighed heavily on his heart like a massive stone, leaving him restless. He understood that if a solution was not found, the Jiuli Tribe would eventually return, plunging the land of Huaxia back into war.
"Well, this matter cannot be rushed," Emperor Huang sighed deeply and turned to Feng Hou. "Now that the war has just settled, and with many things needing to be rebuilt, do you have any good strategies?"
"Your Majesty, I believe the urgent task is to soothe the people and restore production," Feng Hou replied without hesitation. "In addition, we need to strengthen communication and integration among the tribes to eliminate barriers and consolidate the unity of Huaxia."
Emperor Huang nodded slightly; Feng Hou's suggestion aligned perfectly with his thoughts. He slowly walked to the desk, picked up a brush, and began to sketch on a hide map. "You are right; only with peace and stability can we resist external enemies."
"Your wisdom is unparalleled!" Feng Hou respectfully stood aside, watching as Emperor Huang marked one tribe after another on the map.
A few days later, Emperor Huang announced that he would travel incognito to gain insight into the people's conditions. He changed into coarse linen clothing, accompanied by several guards, leaving the magnificent palace for a journey to remote areas.
Along the way, Emperor Huang visited villages, sharing meals and lodging with the common people to understand their hardships and demands. He discovered that although the war had ended, life remained extremely difficult for many; in numerous places, land lay barren, houses had collapsed, people were displaced, and many went hungry.
"It seems we still have much work to do," Emperor Huang reflected as he looked at the desolate scene before him.
"Indeed, Your Majesty," the Captain of the Guards could not help but lament. "The war brought by Chiyou has caused great suffering for the people."
"It is our responsibility as rulers to ensure that the people live well," Emperor Huang said firmly, his eyes filled with determination.
One day, Emperor Huang and his group arrived at the foot of a mountain as the sun set. A thin mist enveloped the forest while distant birds chirped. An old man in tattered clothes sat by the roadside; his hair was gray and his face gaunt, but his eyes shone brightly as if he could see through the vicissitudes of life.
"Old man, what is wrong? Why are you here all alone?" the Emperor Huang asked as he approached the elderly man, who appeared solitary and forlorn.
The old man slowly lifted his head, his murky eyes scrutinizing the Emperor Huang, as if he could see through his disguise. He smiled faintly, a hint of an enigmatic smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "I am waiting here for a fated person."
The Emperor Huang felt a stir in his heart; this old man was extraordinary and certainly not an ordinary individual. He signaled for his guards to step back and sat down beside the old man on the ground. "May I ask, what does it mean to be a fated person?"
"The one who can resolve the doubts in your heart is your fated person," the old man replied calmly, yet his words seemed to carry a certain magic. He extended his withered finger, pointing towards the depths of the forest. "Follow this small path straight ahead; there is a hidden place that may provide you with answers."
