The will to survive and the resentment made Xia Yangyang call out Victor's name without hesitation in her last moment of consciousness.
The lights flickered, and she was awakened by a strong smell of blood.
Victor's voice came from above: "What is there to fear from mere ants?"

Outside the operating room, the Special Police slowed their pace due to vigilance. The air was silent, with only Victor's sigh standing out clearly.

Although Xia Yangyang's vision was obscured by a black cloth, the system was able to convey the current scene to her.

"Have you forgotten? You turned me into a part of the sea; take me home with you." She linked her arm with his and tightened her grip.
The sound of cannon fire seemed to fade away, and the clamor of humanity grew quieter.
They burst through the last gate, and the system operated the computer to lock the gate securely.
The sunlight was warm, and the cold wind howled, both belonging to the bloody aura of Victor that began to manifest.
"There's such a strong smell of blood. Are you hurt, Victor?" Xia Yangyang attempted to remove the black cloth but was seized by his hands.
He appeared quite astonished. "What a joke! How could I be injured? Human attacks can't even singe a strand of my hair."
Xia Yangyang hesitated for a moment; the normal Victor would never use such intense questioning to prove himself.
"Let me take a look, so I can feel at ease."
"You don't need to worry at all." Victor said, somewhat exasperated. "It's not safe enough yet. Once we reach the sea, I'll take it off for you."
Victor silently led her toward the sea. She stared blankly at the vast expanse of blue water before her, with the waves crashing against his battered hands.
Xia Yangyang could hear the sound of seagulls flapping their wings in the air, accompanied by the sound of the sea, which was refreshing.
However, the system coldly reminded her, "That’s not seagulls; that’s human voices. Once they come down, you two are finished."
The surveillance from the system showed that one side door of the helicopter above had opened, and a soldier was aiming a cannon at them.
"The experiment is not over yet; capture Subject 233 alive at all costs. If he manages to escape into deep waters, destroy him at any cost."
