Gao Pengjun felt humiliated today. Hearing Bing Tianyi's words, he lowered his head and sighed, waving his hand, saying, "I'm not going. I want to go back to the dormitory and be alone for a while."
"Come on, even though we had some conflicts before, it doesn't mean you should be at odds with your student," Bing Tianyi said with a sincere smile.
Gao Pengjun glanced at Bing Tianyi, then after a moment of contemplation, looked towards the Small Restaurant across the street. Without saying a word, he turned and walked toward it.
Bing Tianyi followed closely behind Gao Pengjun. They entered and chose a small private room on the second floor. Once seated, Bing Tianyi ordered a few small dishes and two bottles of white liquor. Although it wasn't high-quality liquor, it was what Bing Tianyi had been drinking for a long time.
The taste was smooth, and it didn't go to the head too quickly, making it quite pleasant.
Once the waiter left, Bing Tianyi poured two glasses of liquor, handed one to Gao Pengjun, and said directly, "Teacher Gao, this drink is my apology to you. I shouldn't have contradicted you in class before; please don't be angry."
"It's all in the past. I was confused back then too. Sigh... let's not talk about it," Gao Pengjun replied as he raised his glass and downed it in one go.

Gao Pengjun sighed heavily and filled his glass again before gulping it down.

"What's up? Why are you looking for him?" Brother Kun's tone became serious as he curiously inquired.
Bing Tianyi didn't think much and replied straightforwardly, "I need to find him for something. If you know, please let me know."
"He's drinking with me right now," Brother Kun murmured.
"Then help me bring him to Yizhong Gate, Little Wine Immortal," Bing Tianyi said earnestly.
Bing Tianyi understood that if he didn't intervene, Gao Pengjun might not make it through today, and next year on this day could very well be Gao Pengjun's memorial day.
As the saying goes, saving a life is better than building a seven-story pagoda; such matters would even accumulate good karma for himself.
"Yizhong Gate? Is Gao Pengjun also there?" Brother Kun, having spent more time in the underworld, immediately thought of this after Bing Tianyi finished speaking.
Bing Tianyi did not hide it and told Brother Kun directly, "Yes, he's here with me; it's just the two of us."

Hanging up the phone, Bing Tianyi quietly said to Gao Pengjun, "A few people will come over later. We need to clarify everything on our table then."

Seeing the regretful expression on Bing Tianyi's face, Gao Pengjun directly said, "Don't say that; this matter has nothing to do with you."
"If I had told you earlier, perhaps you wouldn't have gotten into a confrontation with them," Bing Tianyi said seriously.

Gao Pengjun furrowed his brows tightly, staring at Bing Tianyi without saying a word for a long time.
Bing Tianyi also looked at Gao Pengjun with a mocking gaze. After a moment, he quietly asked, "Why aren't you speaking? Did I guess correctly about what you're thinking?"
"So what do you think I should do? Should I just act like a coward? Should I ignore their humiliation?" Gao Pengjun asked excitedly, raising his head to stare intently at Bing Tianyi.
Seeing the intense expression on the other person's face, Bing Tianyi could understand; after all, having one's wife cheat is unbearable for any man. Especially for someone as proud as Gao Pengjun.
After pondering for a while, Bing Tianyi murmured, "Teacher Gao, I've told you before that there are a thousand ways to solve problems; it's not just the one you're thinking of now. Killing him may seem like the most satisfying solution, but have you thought about yourself? Have you thought about your family? Have you considered how they would live after your suicide? You haven't; you're only focused on your own feelings right now and disregarding your family's emotions. From a minor perspective, this is selfish; from a broader perspective, this is unfilial!"
At this point, Bing Tianyi sighed and continued, "I can understand what you're thinking right now. After all, when faced with such a situation, any man would act impulsively. But do those men who act on impulse ever regret it afterward? I believe that aside from those who have no parents at home or no children, everyone else would regret it."
Gao Pengjun never expected that after nearly thirty years of life, he would still be outsmarted by a seventeen-year-old. He was stunned, sitting blankly in his chair. Once Bing Tianyi finished speaking, he sighed deeply, tears welling up in his eyes as he choked out, "So what do you think I should do?"
"If you are willing, I think you should call your wife and ask her to come over right now," Bing Tianyi said seriously while looking at Gao Pengjun.
Gao Pengjun's eyes flared with anger again as he exclaimed, "I never want to see that woman again!"
"Don't you want to resolve this matter today?" Bing Tianyi asked curiously.
Gao Pengjun paused, contemplating under Bing Tianyi's gaze. Soon, he regained his composure. He understood that this issue had to be resolved sooner or later; he couldn't avoid seeing his wife forever.
Once he came to this realization, he took out his phone and slowly dialed her number.
After briefly expressing his thoughts, he hung up and said softly, "She'll be here soon."
Bing Tianyi nodded. Just then, the phone rang unexpectedly. After answering the call, Duck Brother smiled at Bing Tianyi and said, "Brother Bing, I've found the person. Why aren't you in the office?"
"Bring them to Little Wine Immortal across from the school. I'll be waiting for you here. Just call me when you arrive at the entrance," Bing Tianyi replied quietly.
"Are we also getting a meal?" Duck Brother chuckled.
"Once this matter is settled, not only will there be a meal, but I can also give each of you a bonus of ten thousand," Bing Tianyi said earnestly.
This guy either wants women or food; it's really enough.
"Alright, I'll bring them over right away," Duck Brother said before hanging up the phone.
Bing Tianyi sat in a chair, watching Gao Pengjun and said softly, "Teacher Gao, you sit tight. I'll step out for a moment."
"You go ahead," Gao Pengjun waved his hand in acknowledgment.
As he got up to leave, Bing Tianyi turned back at the door to glance at Gao Pengjun, wanting to prevent any unforeseen incidents. Seeing the expression in Bing Tianyi's eyes, Gao Pengjun forced a smile and said quietly, "Don't worry, I've come to terms with it."
Bing Tianyi smiled sincerely and turned to head downstairs. Once at the reception desk, he hurriedly picked up the menu and ordered seven or eight dishes, reserving another private room on the second floor before rushing back upstairs.
Just as he turned around, he unexpectedly heard Brother Kun shout loudly at the entrance, "Bing, wait! Why do you want to hide when you see me?"
Hearing Brother Kun's teasing voice, Bing Tianyi turned around and walked over, giving Brother Kun a playful slap on the shoulder while laughing, "Hide? Am I hiding from you?"
"Wow, haven't seen you in a few days and you've gotten stronger!" Brother Kun laughed heartily.
Bing Tianyi glanced at him and replied helplessly, "Dude, can you not talk like that? I just got out of a sad moment; I'm not like you, a beast."
Brother Kun continued to laugh and said, "Alright, enough of that. What did you call us here for today?"
Bing Tianyi looked at the handsome man behind Brother Kun and asked, "Are you Fuda?"
"Yes, Uncle Bing," Fuda replied politely upon seeing Bing Tianyi, quickly nodding in greeting. However, Bing Tianyi felt a bit awkward hearing the term "Uncle Bing."
