I felt a sudden urge and quickly stuffed the Expense List into my pocket, then hurried to the door and opened it just a crack.
"Not yet, I'm still looking," I said, pretending to sound anxious.
"Please hurry, I have other rooms to clean," the attendant urged.
"Alright, alright, I'll be quick," I replied as I closed the door.

I turned around and looked around the room, my gaze landing on the lonely bottle of red wine on the table.
"Wait!" I called out, quickly walking to the table, picking up the wine bottle, and pointing at the label. "When was this wine opened?"
The attendant looked at me in confusion, stepped into the room, and examined the bottle. "Hmm... it should have been opened last night. Why do you ask?"
"Can you tell me who opened this wine?" I stared intently into her eyes.
"Um... I'm not really sure. We have a lot of red wines at our hotel. This Couple's Special Brew requires two people to open it, and I can't remember exactly who opened it. I'm sorry," the attendant seemed a bit troubled.
I pondered for a moment, recalling the words "couple's item" from the Expense List.
"Alright, thank you," I replied calmly, then placed the wine bottle back on the table. "I'll keep looking for my necklace and leave once I find it."
The waiter nodded and turned to leave the room. I heard the sound of her pushing the Cleaning Cart away, and only then did I let out a long sigh, weakly leaning against the door.
The waiter's words kept replaying in my mind: "This Couple's Special Brew requires two people to open..."

A thought flashed through my mind, and I decided to take a chance at the hotel's surveillance room. I quickly walked out of the room and headed straight for the elevator.

The receptionist hesitated for a moment, looking me up and down. "Do you have a letter of authorization from your family member?"
"I didn't bring it with me... It's an emergency. Would this work? I can show you my marriage certificate and his hospitalization proof..." I tried to explain in a calm tone.
After pondering for a moment, the receptionist said, "Please wait." She picked up the phone, whispered a few words, then hung up and said to me, "You can go to the security room on the third floor. There will be staff there to assist you in viewing the surveillance footage."
"Thank you!" I sighed in relief, hurriedly expressing my gratitude before turning towards the elevator.
Upon arriving at the security room on the third floor, I explained my purpose. The staff pulled up last night's surveillance footage, which showed that Xin Zhiyuan indeed dined at the hotel restaurant last night, and… there was a woman accompanying him!
I stared intently at the screen as Xin Zhiyuan sat in a corner of the restaurant with that woman. They were chatting and laughing together, their gestures intimate. Xin Zhiyuan occasionally served food to her, while she nestled beside him, her face radiating happiness.
My heart felt like it was being sliced by a knife, the pain unbearable.
"Can you zoom in on the image?" I asked, my voice trembling as I pointed at the woman on the screen.
The staff member nodded and moved the mouse to enlarge the picture. However, due to the angle of the surveillance, the woman's face was completely obscured by a wide-brimmed hat and a mask, making it impossible to see her features.
My heart sank to the bottom. Was I really going to give up like this? No, I couldn't give up! I had to find out who this woman was!
I scanned the image of the woman on the screen, and suddenly, I noticed a uniquely shaped ring on her right hand's index finger. It was a silver ring set with a blue gemstone, and its design was quite distinctive.
This ring… why does it look so familiar? I strained to remember, and suddenly an image flashed through my mind.
