Several people cautiously walked towards the side hall on the right, their hearts pounding, huddling closely together. As they approached the entrance to the side hall, the sound of movement from creatures grew louder, creating a mysterious and unsettling atmosphere. Zhang Rui swallowed hard and decided to investigate.
He bravely stepped into the side hall, the beam of his flashlight illuminating everything in the room, only to find nothing. The room contained only some ancient walls and corners covered in cobwebs, as if it had been abandoned for a long time. The sound of creature movement suddenly ceased, as if it had never existed.
Yang Dawei and Li Minghan also entered the side hall, their faces showing a cautious expression. Li Minghan whispered, "This... this is very strange. I clearly heard a sound, but now there's nothing."
Zhang Rui frowned, feeling puzzled as well, but they decided to carefully search the room for any clues that could unravel this mystery.

Li Minghan nervously held up the flashlight and shone it around, but couldn't see any living creatures or things. Suddenly, a drop of liquid dripped from the ceiling onto Li Minghan's face. He touched it and found it was blood. Startled, he immediately screamed, "This is blood! What on earth has happened here?"
Zhang Rui still clutched the book in pain, trying to calm the ache. However, no matter how they shone the light around, they couldn't see any living creatures, only eerie sounds constantly surrounding them, making them feel increasingly uneasy.
Suddenly, a strange and hoarse voice came from above, as if from an ancient existence, saying, "Who is it? Who has disturbed this place?" The voice was like a cold wind, freezing the hearts of Zhang Rui, Li Minghan, and Yang Dawei, making their breath quicken.
Li Minghan and Yang Dawei were too scared to think and immediately ran towards the main gate, doing everything they could to escape this eerie place. However, Zhang Rui felt that his body was no longer under his control, unable to move his limbs as if an invisible force was controlling him, forcing him to stay in place, as if he couldn't leave at all.
He tried to struggle, to move his limbs, even to shout out loud, but it seemed to be of no use. He couldn't move, couldn't speak, and could only watch helplessly as Li Minghan and Yang Dawei disappeared into the darkness, leaving him alone to face this incredible sound and inexplicable force.
Zhang Rui's mood gradually became fearful and uneasy. He didn't know what would happen next, and could only wait helplessly, his body restrained by an external force.
He felt something moving in the space, as if it were an invisible presence. Suddenly, a shadow jumped down from the ceiling and carefully touched Zhang Rui. Although he couldn't move, he could feel the creature's breath and its dry touch.
The contact with this presence made Zhang Rui's heart beat faster, and his skin felt cold, as if touched by a chilling wind. He tried to look around to see what creature it was, but still couldn't turn his head or move his body. The presence of this creature made him extremely uneasy, as it was both invisible and mysterious, as if it came from another world.
A deep and eerie laughter suddenly echoed in the space, sounding as if it emerged from the depths of hell, with each syllable filled with authority and evil. It continued, "It's been too long since I've had a good meal. Thanks to you for setting me free, I'll make your death a little more enjoyable!"
Zhang Rui listened to these words, feeling tense and wanting to move his body, but he remained motionless as if bound by some mysterious force, helplessly realizing he couldn't escape. The creature continued to laugh, "You can't move, you're no longer in reality!"
At that moment, the mark on Zhang Rui's hand suddenly emitted a powerful energy, bursting with light that illuminated the entire space, revealing the terrifying image of the creature. The creature screamed in agony, its skin gradually turning black, its body contorting and deforming as if suffering immense damage.
In that instant, Zhang Rui also saw the creature clearly. Its body was massive and abnormal, with deep purple skin covered in tumor-like growths emitting an unhealthy aura. Its eyes were blood-red, with abyssal pupils filled with evil intelligence. Its teeth were sharp as knives, long fangs protruding from its mouth, displaying its predatory instinct. It had sharp claws on its hands, each one capable of easily tearing flesh.
