At Southeast Coast Forward Base 62, the situation had once reached a critical point due to the Deep Sea Tirpitz.
Later, the arrival of reinforcements from Naval Headquarters significantly improved the situation. However, even with the complete retreat of the Deep Sea Fleet led by Deep Sea Tirpitz, the circumstances at Forward Base 62 remained grim.
In the previous battle, Forward Base 62 not only lost over twenty Fleet Girls and two Admirals but, most importantly, the flagship of the entire base, the renowned Admiral-Class Battleship Girl Luou, suffered a catastrophic failure when its third main gun turret exploded, causing a munitions depot detonation that resulted in its immediate destruction. It was ultimately sunk by a single shot from a Flagship-Class Deep Sea Battleship Girl during their confrontation.
Therefore, once the conflict concluded and Naval Headquarters and Fleet Girls withdrew from Forward Base 62, the island would inevitably require a powerful Fleet Girl to take command. This is why Borg intended to assign Chuyang there.
With Lexington's addition, the overall strength of Forward Base 62 would only increase, alleviating any concerns for Naval Headquarters.
However, now that Lexington was aware of this situation yet still opposed her proposal, Borg found it quite perplexing.
"Anyone can go to Base 62, but don't you think that the Southwest Coast needs a Commodore's Fleet Girl to hold down the fort?" Lexington retorted.
"No, I disagree. We urgently need an Admiral like Chuyang in our Southeast War Zone," Wu Sheng firmly opposed.
The Admiral Alliance is without borders, but individual Admirals have national affiliations. As one of the key figures in the Southeast War Zone, Wu Sheng certainly wanted to keep Chuyang, who possesses Vice Admiral Level capabilities, within their region.
"You say that every time; can't you come up with something new?" Lexington scoffed. Her dissatisfaction wasn't merely due to Wu Sheng's differing opinion but rather because Wu Sheng sometimes went too far.
Since Wu Sheng took office as Rongcheng Garrison Commander, he had already participated in the allocation of graduates from Rongcheng Naval Academy three times, including this instance.
In the previous two instances, he used this excuse to keep many graduates in the Southeast War Zone, causing dissatisfaction among the big shots in several other Battle Zones in Asia. If it weren't for the advance warning from the Admiral Alliance headquarters this year, he would likely have done the same again.
Now, after Wu Sheng figured out Lexington's strength, he indeed had similar thoughts.

However, what Wu Sheng said afterward truly annoyed Lexington. If she didn't have good self-control, she would have wanted to curse: "Steady as a mountain? Icing on the cake?"
Unlike the Southeast Coast, which has many powerful figures stationed there, the Southwest Theater really lacks Admirals who can hold their own. There are only two Lieutenant General-level Admirals. One is Shen Kuo, who oversees Forward Base 23 on the Southwest Coast and manages military affairs for the entire Battle Zone's Forward Bases. The other is Meng Ming, the military commander of the Southwest Theater, stationed in Mingzhou City, the largest city on the Southwest Coast.
Meng Ming is not worth mentioning; he is an old hand who holds his position solely due to his seniority and rank without any particularly outstanding qualities.
In contrast, Shen Kuo was a remarkable talent in his youth, with extraordinary luck in shipbuilding and salvage. However, even so, up until now, only one Fleet Girl under Meng Ming has reached Lieutenant General level. This already makes her the strongest combat power in the Southwest Theater, yet Wu Sheng still speaks like that.
It can be said that once Chuyang arrives at the Southwest Theater, Lexington will instantly become the strongest Fleet Girl in that Battle Zone, and her impact will be beyond imagination. Forget about minimal impact; it would be far more than just icing on the cake.
"Wu Vice Admiral, I don't care what your opinions are. I will not change the allocation plan for Naval Base. If you are dissatisfied, feel free to report it to Admiral Alliance and Naval Headquarters. Whatever happens, I will take full responsibility," Lexington stated firmly.

"Alright, you two stop arguing. Let's first ask Lieutenant Chu for their opinion before we come to a conclusion," Borg acted as a mediator.
The situation in the Southwest Theater seems stable at the moment, but any experienced Admiral and Fleet Girl can sense something unusual from the recent frequent attacks by Deep Sea Shipgirls on Naval Bases around the world. Perhaps soon, another tumultuous Great Era will arrive, and the Southwest Theater indeed needs a powerful Admiral to take command there. Therefore, Borg decided not to insist on his own opinion. However, Lexington and Wu Sheng were having quite a dispute over this matter, so they could only come up with this solution.
In the end, it would be entirely up to the cadet to decide their own fate, and Lexington and Wu Sheng would not let this escalate to a point of tearing each other apart.
"Teacher Lexington, you called for me?" Chuyang walked directly into the office. However, after he finished speaking, he noticed Borg and Wu Sheng, whom he did not recognize, making things a bit awkward.
"Let me introduce you all. This is Cadet Chuyang," Lexington said while pointing at Borg and Wu Sheng. "This is Wu Sheng, Wu Vice Admiral, Garrison Commander of Rong City. She is Light Aircraft Carrier Girl Borg, Director of the Rong City Garrison Branch."
"Hello, General Wu. Hello, Director Borg," Chuyang extended his hand to shake hands with both.
Normally, a subordinate should salute when meeting a superior officer. However, Admirals are different from ordinary human soldiers; to put it bluntly, the Admiral Alliance is more like an Admiral union. Strictly speaking, there is no hierarchical relationship between Admirals. The rank merely represents the overall strength of each Naval Base to some extent. Of course, higher-ranked Admirals receive higher salaries from the World Government and more supplies from Naval Headquarters, which is why most Admirals strive to elevate their ranks.
After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Chuyang introduced Lexington's firefly to everyone. However, when it came to Andrea Doria's turn, the little girl hid behind Lexington shyly and only stepped forward after much hesitation.
