"Brother-in-law, let's be reasonable. How could a Deep Sea Shipgirl possibly fall in love with an Admiral? You're just making up stories about Firefly and Andrea Doria," Saratoga muttered while driving.
"Saratoga Sister, you haven't heard the earlier part of the story, so you don't know that before she fell, Deep Sea Shipgirl Sasuke was actually Naruto Admiral's starting ship!" Firefly said, looking somewhat dissatisfied at Saratoga, who was sitting in the driver's seat. She then looked up at Chuyang and asked, "Brother Chu Yang, what happened next? Did Naruto Admiral manage to win back Abyssal Shipgirl Sasuke?"
"Focus on driving; stop getting sidetracked!" Lexington, sitting in the passenger seat, shot a glare at her sister.
"But sister, brother-in-law is clearly wrong! Even if it's a made-up story, it shouldn't be like this!" Saratoga protested angrily.
"You know Admiral is telling a story, so why take it so seriously? Be careful."
With Lexington's sudden exclamation, Saratoga quickly turned the steering wheel, narrowly avoiding a shell crater that had suddenly appeared on the road.
As mud splattered everywhere, fragments mixed with sand and struck the vehicle, making loud thudding sounds. If it weren't for Andrea Doria sitting next to Chuyang reacting quickly and blocking a piece of shrapnel that shattered the car window with her hand, Chuyang would have been severely injured or worse.
"What happened?" As soon as he got out of the car, Chuyang looked nervously at the shell crater several meters away. If Saratoga hadn't reacted in time, the entire SUV would have fallen into that massive crater.
"There are Deep Sea Shipgirls," Lexington said as she gazed out at the distant sea. She then activated her ship form. A Sea Viper took off from her flight deck and soared into the distance. Following that were six BTD-1 Destroyer bombers taking off in groups of three, heading toward the location of the three Fleet Girls.
"Deep Sea Shipgirls? Ma'am, are you referring to those over there?" Chuyang squinted into the distance where he could vaguely see small black dots at the horizon.
"No, those three are Fleet Girls," Lexington replied.
Fleet Girls possess vision far superior to that of humans, and to some extent, their eyes have a radar-like function.
"Brother Chu Yang, the Deep Sea Shipgirl is behind those three ladies. They are still quite far away." At this moment, Firefly had already deployed her ship equipment, with two mini radars resembling headbands spinning continuously above the Loli's head.
"Sister, can we determine what type of Deep Sea Shipgirl it is?" Due to the distance, the radar could only vaguely detect the presence of a fleet of Deep Sea Shipgirls, but it was unable to identify the specific model. Nevertheless, Saratoga still launched her Carrier-Based Aircraft.
There was no choice; the three Fleet Girls in the distance looked too battered, their clothes torn and tattered. Aside from their foot gear—the sailing shoes—other parts of their ship equipment were in a state of disrepair, clearly indicating they were heavily damaged. If they did not use Carrier-Based Aircraft for cover, it would be difficult for those three Fleet Girls to escape the pursuit of the Deep Sea Shipgirl.
"Prepare for battle; at least one of them is likely a flagship." Lexington reminded.
In fact, there was no need for her reminder; whether it was Saratoga, Andrea Doria, or Firefly, they all understood this very well.
This was due to the enormous shell crater that had almost occupied two-thirds of the road. At such extreme range, only main guns of 350mm or larger could cause such destruction, and only battlecruisers or Battleships among the Fleet Girls could be equipped with such guns.
"Still cannot confirm," Lexington shook her head. The Sea Viper Fighter she had sent out for reconnaissance was still quite a distance away from those three Fleet Girls, let alone the Deep Sea Fleet.
"It’s Deep Sea Tirpitz." The one who spoke was Feng Xiang, followed by more than ten other Fleet Girls. Their Admiral, Southwest Theater Military Commander Meng Ming, walked directly towards Chuyang.
"I am Southwest Theater Military Commander Meng Ming. Which Naval Base do you serve as an Admiral?" Meng Ming saluted to Chuyang.
As the military chief of the Southwest Theater, Meng Ming could not claim to know every Admiral from each Naval Base within the Battle Zone, but he had some impression of them. However, he found Chuyang unfamiliar. Moreover, who could tell him why someone who was merely a Lieutenant Junior Grade level Admiral possessed three large ships?
To be honest, the sight of the three who had deployed their ship equipment truly dazzled Meng Ming. There was no need to mention Lexington and Saratoga, as their flight decks clearly marked "CV-2" and "CV-3," indicating their identities. As for Andrea Doria, although Meng Ming could not discern her specific identity as a Loli, the four oversized naval guns on her ship equipment were unmistakable; she was either a Battleship or a Battlecruiser Shipgirl.
"Damn it, Meng Ming has spent his whole life as an Admiral, yet he doesn't have any Fleet Girls of Lexington's caliber under his command. And this kid, on the other hand, has a full set of sisters. With this lineup coming to his Southwest Theater, isn't it just blatant showing off? Does he want to make the majority of the Admirals in his Battle Zone feel inferior?"
"Hello, Commander Meng, I am the new Admiral of Naval Base 197, Chuyang." Chuyang also returned a military salute.
"You are Chuyang?" Meng Ming was momentarily taken aback; it wasn't that he hadn't thought about it, but rather that he didn't dare to. The information sent to him by the Admiral Alliance only mentioned that Chuyang had three Fleet Girls, and Saratoga was not among them. Even with his rich imagination, he couldn't believe that Chuyang could acquire a rarer Fleet Girl than Lexington in such a short time.
"Good, very good." Once he regained his composure, Meng Ming's face broke into a wide smile. Chuyang was an Admiral in his jurisdiction! The stronger the other party was, the stronger the Southwest Theater would be. He wondered if those old-timers in the other Battle Zones would still dare to mock the Southwest Theater for lacking personnel.
Meanwhile, when Lexington heard what Feng Xiang said, her expression suddenly changed. "How could Deep Sea Tirpitz be here? Isn't she supposed to be active in the Southeast War Zone?"
Since being sighted for the first time, Deep Sea Tirpitz had been active in the Southeast War Zone, particularly near Forward Base 62 close to Rongcheng. There had been no sightings reported in other Battle Zones.
"I don't know; we just received a distress signal from Nearshore Naval Base 36," Feng Xiang said with a serious expression.
Deep Sea Tirpitz was the Pacific Deep Sea Flagship; her presence anywhere was a significant problem.
While they were talking, the three Fleet Girls in a heavily damaged state were already very close to the coastline. Behind them on the horizon appeared six Deep Sea Shipgirls, with the leading silver-haired Elder Sister being none other than Deep Sea Tirpitz.
