In the heart of the Prince of Wales, nothing was more important than the Admiral returning safely. Therefore, even if she did not receive a promise of a ring from the Admiral, it was not a matter of great concern; as long as the Admiral was safe, that was enough.
Of course, the long-standing feelings were reciprocated. Although it seemed somewhat formal, the Prince of Wales was still very pleased.
However, the initial joy had faded over time. As the de facto leader of the Royal Navy, the Prince of Wales's thoughts were no longer focused on this matter. Or rather, as long as the Admiral understood moderation, she did not care how many Wedding Ships were in the Naval Base.

Although many buried their feelings deep inside due to their personalities and did not express them openly, there were also those who boldly pursued him. For example, Lexington's sister Saratoga, Akagi from the First Carrier Division, and South Dakota—the three of them had all sent telegrams to the Admiral. Yet throughout it all, only Lexington received a ring. So in some sense, one could say that the Admiral was quite principled and not a scoundrel in matters of love.
However, it was a bit premature for the Prince of Wales to draw this conclusion; reality was far from what she imagined.
First off, during their time at the Naval Base, they seemed to Chuyang merely like character sprites in a game—there was no talk of feelings. Chuyang was very purposeful in his actions; he could spend money to expand his inventory, open more construction and repair docks, or buy various resources to make gameplay smoother. However, he would never spend money on flashy outfits or even think about investing more in something seemingly useless like a Contract Ring. If it weren't for receiving a Contract Ring as a gift in-game, he wouldn't have even considered marrying anyone.
Now let's discuss Chuyang's real-life encounters with Fleet Girls! Aside from Lexington being his first love interest, the other three—Saratoga and Richelieu who had already received rings or were about to receive them—along with the current Prince of Wales—honestly speaking, Chuyang had little emotional attachment to any of them upon first meeting; it was more out of a sense of responsibility.
Giving Saratoga a ring was due to affection for all involved; Richelieu was even more out of necessity since he didn't want his Fleet Girls stabbing him with swords. As for Prince of Wales, it was indeed because of requests from Veneto and Carmicia.
But if you really think that Chuyang is a principled guy, then you are gravely mistaken. Just look at how much time has passed; he has already taken the initially emotionless Saratoga and Richelieu to bed and thoroughly enjoyed himself. So, one should never judge a person solely by appearances, especially a man surrounded by beauty.
"The ring..." Richelieu hesitated. For someone like her, who pursued romance, the process of receiving a ring was indeed hard to articulate. However, she couldn't just make something up; there were others present at the time. Even if she brushed it off now, it would still be exposed once they returned to Naval Base.
Fortunately, the timely intervention of Prince of Wales rescued Richelieu from her embarrassment.
"Let's go find Admiral."
Gently placing the goblet back on the table, Prince of Wales adjusted her clothes and turned to walk towards the door.
Although the large luxury cruise ship they were on was sailing in relatively safe waters and had hired many Fleet Girls as guards, Prince of Wales still felt a bit uneasy leaving Admiral alone outside with only the unreliable Carmicia by her side. She did not want to experience another four years of anxiety and uncertainty.
To put it this way: because of Chuyang's sudden disappearance earlier, the Fleet Girls at Naval Base had become quite neurotic about Admiral's safety, feeling very much like "once bitten, twice shy."
So, amidst the vast ocean on this cruise ship with strong escort capabilities, when Shangguan Yuluo saw Chuyang's Fleet Girls at Carmicia's call, he did not see just one or two but a full five. Adding Carmicia into the mix made it an entire squad of Fleet Girls.
What was most infuriating was that Loli seemed worried he wouldn't hear clearly and emphasized the identities of the five Fleet Girls.
"...Big Sister Veneto... this one is HMS King George V Class Battleship's second ship, Princess of Wales..."
With Loli's seemingly boastful childish voice ringing in his ears, Shangguan Yuluo felt darkness clouding his vision and nearly choked on his breath.
Who would have thought that what appeared to be a combination of two Battleships and three Destroyers would turn out to be an ultimate lineup of four Battleships and one Destroyer? What kind of superiority complex was there to flaunt? In front of them, what difference was there between himself and an African Salty Fish?
"Admiral, you have to hold on! We can't lose face."
Colorado looked at her Admiral with a worried expression, straightening her posture.
The four Battleship Girls in front of her were all far more rare than she was, but what did that matter?
Rarity doesn't fill your stomach; what Fleet Girls really care about is strength. As one of the Seven Pillars, she had undergone nearly a year of combat training. While her skill level wasn't very high, it wasn't low either.
And what about the others? They were all wandering Fleet Girls before, and only recently joined the Naval Base. How high could their skill level be? So they hadn't lost yet.
However, when Colorado suddenly sensed the overwhelming aura emanating from Prince of Wales and the others, she felt as if she had fallen into an ice cellar.
After some pleasantries, she glanced at Prince of Wales and her five companions sitting at another table. Just as Shangguan Yuluo was about to take her Fleet Girls and leave, her eyes suddenly lit up.
In the bright sunlight and gentle sea breeze, a girl with long orange hair was walking gracefully toward them.
"Irina, over here."
Shangguan Yuluo stood up with a warm smile and waved at the orange-haired girl.
