Wang Qian had already booked a room in the country, and it turned out to be a suite. Just thinking about spending the night in the same room with a beautiful woman made Fei Hu feel invigorated, wondering if anything romantic might happen.
"Hey! Stop daydreaming, hurry up and take a shower, get ready. We have a meeting soon, so pull yourself together and stop smiling all the time. You need to remember that your current role is my bodyguard," Wang Qian said before turning and entering the bathroom.
This Five-Star Hotel truly lived up to its reputation, with each room featuring its own bathroom. The luxurious decor inside was beyond description. Fei Hu lay back in the large bathtub and added fragrant bubbles; it felt so good that even a deity wouldn't want to leave.
"Hurry up! Are you asleep in there? You need to understand that this is not nap time," Wang Qian shouted from outside the door. Fei Hu hurriedly got up, hastily wiped himself off, got dressed, and rushed out.
My goodness, what was Wang Qian wearing? A white silk short shirt that looked almost sheer, clearly revealing her pink underwear underneath. Her two ample curves created a deep cleavage that would make any man’s heart race, especially someone like Fei Hu, who had just begun to experience the allure of women.
"What are you staring at? There are plenty of beauties in Hong Kong. Pay attention and don’t embarrass me in public," Wang Qian said as she shoved a pair of Big Sunglasses into Fei Hu's hands.
Fei Hu quickly averted his gaze and replied with a grin, "I wasn't looking at anything. I was just worried about your feet. Can you still walk? You’re not expecting me to carry you to the meeting, are you?"
"Be serious; the meeting is right downstairs. You don’t need to worry about that; just do your job well," Wang Qian said, her demeanor suddenly changing as if she were a different person.
As Fei Hu put on his shoes, he wondered if there was danger associated with the meeting. Wang Qian's sudden shift in mood was puzzling and likely related to this meeting. It seemed he needed to be cautious; after all, they were in Hong Kong, and he couldn't afford any mistakes. He had to fulfill his responsibilities as a bodyguard; otherwise, he would have no face to return to Sheng Wei.
Wang Qian carried only a small bag and appeared somewhat serious. She didn’t say a word during their journey, and Fei Hu could clearly sense her tension. The elevator stopped on the 18th floor, and as soon as they stepped out, they were greeted by deafening music. Fei Hu was confused; why was their negotiation taking place in a nightclub or dance hall?
"Put on your sunglasses and stick close to me," Wang Qian whispered to Fei Hu who was following behind her.
Wang Qian seemed very familiar with this place, turning left and right before entering a door. Fei Hu dared not fall behind, closely following her. Inside was a large dance floor, with a small stage rising in the center. On it were several glamorous women dancing in bikinis, while a group of young men and women below were dancing wildly, occasionally letting out bursts of screams.
Fei Hu was not unfamiliar with such occasions; he had seen similar scenes while working at Night Rose. The formats were quite similar, but the craziness here was unmatched compared to what he had experienced domestically. It was no wonder the crowd was so loud.
The neon lights in the hall flickered continuously, and the lighting was somewhat dim. With Fei Hu wearing a pair of Big Sunglasses, he found it difficult to keep up as Wang Qian pushed her way into the crowd. He felt flustered but managed to stay close to her. Fortunately, Wang Qian stood next to a tall man and began to sway her round hips gracefully. Fei Hu had no choice but to follow her movements slowly; otherwise, if he just stood there without dancing, others would think he was foolish.
They had agreed to find someone to discuss business, so why were they in a dance hall? This method seemed rather bizarre! However, Fei Hu did not dare let his guard down. He kept his body close to Wang Qian, ready to follow her every move. As the flashing lights illuminated the area, Fei Hu noticed that Wang Qian's mouth was moving, and he could see that the tall man's mouth was also moving. Oh no! This felt like some kind of espionage activity, and Fei Hu suddenly sensed an ominous premonition.
At that moment, Fei Hu felt something soft pressing against his back, increasingly pushing up against him with more force—it felt quite nice. He turned slightly, glancing with his right eye while keeping his left eye on Wang Qian. Behind him stood a very sexy woman in a red outfit. Seeing Fei Hu looking at her, she pushed her ample chest against him and wrapped her arms around his waist as if they were dancing. In reality, she was making seductive advances towards him, pressing her curves against him.
"Bright Boy, Victoria Harbour, Hilton Hotel—want to have some fun? I guarantee you'll love it," the woman said as she swayed her slim waist and leaned in closer with her red lips, a waft of cigarette smoke hitting him.
Fei Hu shook his head and cursed inwardly, "I don't need to have fun; I still have a mission."
Just then, Fei Hu saw that Wang Qian seemed ready to leave. He gently pushed the red-dressed woman away from him, but she clung tightly like chewing gum. What could he do? In a moment of panic, he lightly pinched the woman's waist. She let out a sharp scream and immediately loosened her grip. The people around them glanced over before returning to their own activities.
Fei Hu quickly took off his sunglasses and rushed forward. Luckily, Wang Qian and the tall man had just left the dance floor and were heading toward the elevator. Fei Hu did not hesitate; he dashed forward and stepped into the elevator just as the doors were about to close while putting his Big Sunglasses back on. The tall man glanced at Fei Hu warily but remained silent as they stood together in the elevator. Wang Qian did too; it was as if none of them knew each other.
Before Fei Hu could think further, the elevator stopped on the 39th floor. Wow! This floor was much higher than Sheng Wei's office building. Wang Qian followed the tall man as they turned left and right down the hallway for quite some time before stopping in front of a VIP Room door. The tall man knocked lightly twice on the door, and after a moment, it opened.
As soon as Wang Qian stepped inside, Fei Hu followed closely behind. The tall man extended his hand and asked, "What are you doing here?"
"Oh! He's my assistant; I forgot to mention it," Wang Qian quickly replied with a smile.
The tall man looked Fei Hu up and down, somewhat displeased, and said, "Miss Wang, this is where you went wrong. You promised to come alone, yet you brought a stranger with you."
"Ah! Don't worry, this person is reliable. There won't be any problems. If anything happens, I will take full responsibility. Now that I've brought him here, I can't just send him back!" Wang Qian said as she pulled Fei Hu and forced him to walk inside.
The tall man shook his head helplessly and stood at the door, closing it behind them without following further. As Fei Hu walked in behind Wang Qian, he saw a middle-aged man with braids dressed in black sitting beside a large office desk. The man was also wearing sunglasses, though the lenses were a bit small. Behind him stood four tall young men, each wearing big sunglasses.
Goodness! Is this a movie set? Wang Qian sat down in the chair opposite the middle-aged man while Fei Hu quietly stood behind her. The room was very quiet, and the atmosphere felt somewhat strange; it was hard to pinpoint what was off.
The middle-aged man flicked his cigarette with his fingers; strangely, it wasn't lit. He then brought the cigarette to his nose and sniffed it before crushing it forcefully and tossing it into the ashtray. The whole process had a somewhat disturbing vibe.
Wang Qian remained silent, but Fei Hu could sense her tension as he noticed her body subtly trembling. Time passed slowly, and Fei Hu began to feel the dread of an impending storm. It seemed that this trip to Hong Kong wasn't going to be as good as he had hoped; there might be a fierce battle ahead, and he could still smell the atmosphere before such a confrontation.
Suddenly, the middle-aged man slammed his hand on the table and shouted, "Miss Wang, you really have some nerve coming to find me. Are you only satisfied if I leave a mark on you?"
Wang Qian let out a sigh and smiled, "Brother Nan, let's keep things amicable; there's no need to get so worked up! I haven't offended you. I'm here from afar to seek mutual prosperity; why make it difficult? Do I really have to fear you on your own turf?"
"To hell with that! What prosperity? Let me ask you this: last time Boss Ye gave me one hundred sixty thousand, how come only one hundred thirty thousand ended up in my hands? Did you pocket thirty thousand to support your little boy toys? How many are you keeping?" Brother Nan gritted his teeth, looking like he wanted to devour Wang Qian.
Upon hearing this, Fei Hu realized that this was not about doing business for the company; it seemed he had been used once again.
