As soon as he stepped outside, the streets were crowded with people, just like in City A. Fei Hu wandered around a large shopping mall, planning to buy some souvenirs to prove that he had been to Hong Kong. However, upon seeing the prices, he was nearly shocked.
For most of the morning, Fei Hu wandered aimlessly by himself. As noon approached, he felt increasingly bored; it would have been better to lie in his room and watch TV. Thinking this, he stopped at a place called Li's Fried Noodle Shop and ordered a plate of Fried Rice Noodles. Although it somewhat alleviated his hunger, the price was still acceptable to him.
When he returned to the hotel, Fei Hu suddenly remembered that Wang Qian had taken the room key with her. He had no choice but to ask the staff for help. After explaining the situation briefly, the hotel staff provided excellent service, retrieving his registration details and verifying them with his ID before sending someone to open the door for him.
Once back in his room, Fei Hu realized that he had overexerted himself last night and was feeling drained. Just after noon, he began to feel a bit sleepy. "If I'm tired, I might as well sleep!" On his way back to his room, he casually tried opening Wang Qian's door but found it locked. It seemed this woman was subconsciously guarding against him, indicating that her line of work was indeed not very reputable.
After closing his own door, Fei Hu fell asleep immediately. Just as he was sleeping soundly, he suddenly heard the sound of a door opening. It might be Wang Qian returning. He glanced at the clock by the faint light coming through the curtains; it was only a little past one. How could she be back so early? Did she get tired too? Fei Hu couldn't help but chuckle.
However, something felt off. His ears perked up; there was someone else in the living room besides Wang Qian. He vaguely heard her say, "It's fine; this should be safer than outside. The guy who came with me won't be back this early. Let's discuss the specific plan!"
"Qian Jie, you're really ruthless! You played with him and now want to set him up? That's a bit excessive!" another woman's voice replied. Upon hearing this, Fei Hu's body tensed up. He quietly got out of bed and pressed his ear against the crack of the door.
He heard Wang Qian say, "People die for wealth; birds die for food. Stop talking nonsense. But that guy is actually pretty decent; he's not guarded against anyone. If you treat him a little better, he'll repay you tenfold. Especially since he's quite accommodating in bed; it's very comfortable. If I get a chance, I'll introduce him to you so you can enjoy it too."
"You think I'm just some dancer?" Fei Hu thought angrily upon hearing this. He almost wanted to burst in and punch her but held back because their conversation continued outside.
"Sounds good, Qian Jie! As long as you're willing, I couldn't ask for more! Tell me your plan so we can analyze it properly; we can't afford to be careless about this. Didn't you say this guy is skilled? If we provoke him and cause a scene, it could get messy," said the same woman from earlier. Fei Hu sensed that she was probably younger than Wang Qian since she kept calling her "Qian Jie."
He heard Wang Qian drinking water before she said, "Tomorrow I'll withdraw the money from the bank and walk three or four hundred meters ahead. You can come up and take the money so that he sees it being stolen."
"Qian Jie, you're not being clear enough; I still don't understand. Isn't he right next to you? If he makes a move and alerts the police, that's not something to joke about," another woman asked worriedly.
"You silly...!" Fei Hu only heard Wang Qian lower her voice, and after that, he heard nothing else.
The woman happily said, "Sister Qian is so smart; she can come up with such a plan. This will definitely work. If anything goes wrong, we can just deal with him. But Sister Qian, you've lost a good partner in bed."
"He shouldn't be foolish enough to this extent. To put it bluntly, this is the company's money; he's just a security guard. Besides, if the money goes missing, Ye Wei wouldn't dare to investigate publicly; he would just have to accept his bad luck. So this plan is foolproof," Wang Qian said confidently.
Afterward, the two talked about some flirtatious topics regarding men before leaving the living room. Hearing the door close, Fei Hu finally stood up. He felt that his legs had gone numb from standing too long. As he moved around, he thought to himself that it seemed he had been trapped by someone. That detestable Wang Qian had been using his loyalty all along.
Lying in bed, Fei Hu felt no sleepiness at all. This incident made him realize that to survive in such an environment, one must be clever and ruthless; one cannot be too loyal to others. Otherwise, people would not only fail to appreciate you but also think you're foolish.
For the entire afternoon, Fei Hu pondered how he should conduct himself in the future. As for what Wang Qian had just mentioned, he truly did not take it to heart. After all, he was just a security guard earning over two thousand a month; there was no need to risk his life in Hong Kong. He still wanted to go back and see his beloved grandfather. The fact that Ye Wei could send Wang Qian meant she trusted him enough to let him follow her; wasn't that just a facade? Having figured this out, Fei Hu unknowingly fell asleep.
When his stomach began to growl, Fei Hu opened his eyes and checked the time. Wow! It was already seven in the evening. Was Wang Qian still not back? Although she was using him, his food and living arrangements were still under her control. Moreover, since this matter hadn't been exposed in front of them, it was better to pretend not to know.
Fei Hu first took a shower and then sat in the living room watching TV. Suddenly, the door opened, and Wang Qian walked in with a big smile on her face. "I knew you were back! You must be starving! Look at what I brought back!" she said as she placed a large bag on the coffee table.
"Oh! I am a bit hungry," Fei Hu replied casually as he leaned over to open the bag. To his surprise, it was quite a feast—there were hairy crabs and a box of braised beef, which was Fei Hu's favorite dish. Seeing all this delicious food made him forget that he needed to be wary of Wang Qian and reached out eagerly.
"Don't rush; wash your hands first. Let me wash up too, then we can have some drinks together; otherwise, such good food would go to waste," Wang Qian playfully tapped Fei Hu's hand lightly.
Fei Hu looked up and saw Wang Qian's affectionate expression; she didn't seem like someone who wanted to harm him at all. This woman was too clever; the inexperienced Fei Hu found it truly unbelievable. However, he now understood that as long as he didn't disrupt her plans, he wouldn't be in any danger; otherwise, his life might really be at risk. Hong Kong was portrayed frequently in TV shows and movies; reality shouldn't be much different.
Wang Qian went to take a shower while Fei Hu felt bored and lay back down on the bed for a while. He wondered why his stamina had declined so quickly; he felt tired all day long. If he was tired, then he should rest! Whatever happens with her... He was just a fool who should eat when hungry and sleep when tired.
"Hey! Why are you sleeping again? Come and eat!" Wang Qian shouted from outside the door.
Fei Hu stepped out and saw that the woman had moved the food into her room. He didn't think much of it and took a few steps inside, sitting down on the sofa. Only then did he look up. Oh my God! Whose terrible idea was this? The clothes she wore were so revealing that everything inside was visible. Fei Hu felt his head heat up, nearly causing a nosebleed.
Wang Qian had just taken a shower and was wearing only a transparent top with nothing underneath. Her two round breasts were exposed, playfully looking at Fei Hu as if to say, "Come over if you dare." The lower half of her body was slightly covered by a palm-sized red thong, just enough to conceal her most private area. For Fei Hu, seeing her like this was even more exciting than if she were completely naked.
"Eat! It's not like you haven't seen it before," Wang Qian teased, giving Fei Hu a playful glare. She then poured two cups of liquor, and the strong aroma of white wine wafted over. Fei Hu, feeling hungry, quickly ate a few more bites of food.
After a frenzied eating session, most of the dishes on the table were gone. Wang Qian then pushed a cup of liquor in front of Fei Hu and said, "Since you've eaten enough, let's have a couple of drinks to relax." Fei Hu thought to himself, where did this fatigue come from? Was it from last night? He chuckled awkwardly to himself.
Fei Hu raised the cup to his lips but paused. He suddenly recalled the conversation he overheard in their room that afternoon. If there was something in this drink... Fei Hu hesitated.
"Are you afraid I'll poison you? Do you think I have any reason to do that?" Wang Qian shot him a glare and pushed the cup closer to him. Now it was Fei Hu's turn to feel embarrassed. He thought, just drink it! Better to die under the peony flower than to live as a ghost; I might as well enjoy myself for once.
The saying that alcohol can bolster one's courage was certainly true. After downing a few cups, Wang Qian remained still while Fei Hu could no longer sit quietly. He stood up, picked Wang Qian up in his arms, and pressed her directly onto the bed. However, Wang Qian was strangely quiet tonight; no matter how hard Fei Hu tried, she wouldn't cooperate, leaving him feeling anxious.
After struggling for a while, Wang Qian finally moved. She leaned in close to Fei Hu's ear and whispered softly, "Darling, tell me you didn't see anything these past two days, and that you'll keep it that way when you go back. Understand?"
Fei Hu quickly nodded, thinking to himself that it was none of his business; he might as well treat it like a vacation.
Wang Qian straightened her waist, and both of them let out joyful cries at the same time, filling the room with an atmosphere of springtime delight.
