Who is this? So oblivious, Fei Hu was really annoyed. He glanced at Alice, who was looking at him, and helplessly opened the door to step outside.
As soon as he stepped out, Fei Hu was startled to find that it was none other than Ye Xiaofei and Yingzi knocking on his door. When they saw Fei Hu coming out of the neighboring room, Ye Xiaofei looked at him suspiciously and coldly asked, "Did we disturb you?"
"No, no, the neighbor's drain was clogged, so I helped fix it," Fei Hu replied, shaking the spring pipe in his hand.
Yingzi chuckled and teased, "You really are a jack-of-all-trades, capable of doing anything. No wonder you didn't answer your phone for so long; turns out you were out doing good deeds like Lei Feng."
Feeling a bit embarrassed, Fei Hu smiled and said, "It's not as great as you say. I forgot my phone when I went out just now; I wanted to talk inside." With that, he hurriedly opened the door.
Ye Xiaofei walked into the house and sniffed the air before saying, "Remember to open the windows regularly for ventilation. This room doesn't have good airflow; when you close the doors and windows, it really smells bad." As she spoke, she opened the window.
Once everyone settled on the sofa, Fei Hu asked Yingzi and Ye Xiaofei, "You two are in such a hurry to find me; is there something going on?"
"What? Can't we come see you if there's nothing happening? From your tone, it sounds like you're not welcoming us at all. Did we interrupt something important?" Ye Xiaofei replied with a teasing tone.
Upon hearing this, Fei Hu was taken aback. People often say that women's intuition is strong; it seemed there was some truth to that. If they hadn't knocked on his door just now, he might have been taking a bath with Alice. The thought made his face slightly warm, but he quickly shook off the flustered feeling and smiled at Ye Xiaofei, saying, "What are you talking about? What good thing could I possibly have? Should I make a big fuss to show my welcome?"
"Alright then! You sure can talk! Yingzi and I came over to invite someone out for fun; we just don't know if that person is willing to oblige," Ye Xiaofei said while glancing at Fei Hu.
Hearing that they wanted to go out for fun instantly perked up Fei Hu. He eagerly asked, "Sure! Where are we going? What are we doing? Hurry up and tell me; I've been so bored these past few days!"
Seeing how eager Fei Hu was, Yingzi couldn't help but laugh heartily. "You look so anxious! A new Disco just opened on Guiping Road, and I've heard it's fantastic. Tonight, Brother Dong and a few seniors are coming to the villa to see Grandpa, which gives me and Sister Xiofei a chance to go out. Do you want to join us?"
A Disco, that sounded exciting! Fei Hu had been to one a few times back home; it was always a wild scene with young people dancing crazily together. Thinking of this made him exclaim immediately, "Of course! Why wouldn't I go?"
When Ye Xiaofei and Yingzi saw how readily he agreed, they were naturally pleased. After Fei Hu changed into another outfit, the three of them chatted and laughed as they left the community. At that moment, Alice was standing on her balcony drying her freshly washed hair. When she saw Fei Hu walking out of the community with two beautiful girls, she felt a twinge of disappointment in her heart.
Space Storm is a striking name. In the night, these words change colors like silver snakes, dancing in the vast sky, captivating without needing to enter.
Once Yingzi parked the car, the three of them entered the elevator. The twelfth floor arrived in an instant. As soon as the elevator doors opened, they were greeted by a dazzling sight. The passageway leading to Disco was illuminated with colorful lights, creating a mesmerizing effect as if they had stepped into a maze.
The lighting and sound system inside Disco were indeed extraordinary; no wonder the tickets were so expensive. As soon as Fei Hu and his friends entered, they were enveloped by the atmosphere inside. Yingzi could hardly contain her excitement, moving toward the crowd with the rhythm of the music. Ye Xiaofei was also in high spirits, following closely behind Yingzi, and soon the three of them found themselves in their own little world.
Before long, Yingzi and Ye Xiaofei’s vibrant presence attracted a group of young men who surrounded them, bumping into each other intentionally to catch their attention. As a man, Fei Hu understood these young men's intentions all too well; however, people are inherently selfish, and Fei Hu was no exception. He couldn't tolerate their behavior.
With such a large crowd at Disco, it was inevitable that people would jostle one another; otherwise, it wouldn't be called a disco. Everyone likely sought this lively atmosphere. Fei Hu could only do his best to stay close to Yingzi and Ye Xiaofei, trying to prevent those young men from getting too close to them.
As the crowd danced energetically, Fei Hu quickly felt sweat soaking through his clothes. Yingzi and Ye Xiaofei were probably not faring any better. During a brief pause between songs, Ye Xiaofei pulled Yingzi out of the crowd, with Fei Hu hurriedly following behind. They made their way to a corner booth on the first floor and sat down. Fei Hu noticed both women were also sweating profusely.
Soon, the waiter brought over some chilled beer. The three clinked their bottles together and drank happily, forgetting all their worries as they fully enjoyed this thrilling moment.
“How are you? Are you having fun?” Ye Xiaofei leaned closer to Fei Hu, shouting over the music.
Fei Hu nodded enthusiastically and shouted back, “Yes! Very happy!” As he spoke, they clinked their bottles again and took big gulps, looking carefree.
Taking advantage of their break, Fei Hu noticed that there was also a half-open second floor. Around the stairs stood various young men and women swaying to the music, completely lost in their enjoyment.
Suddenly, Fei Hu noticed something unusual. Outside one of the booths on the second floor, three or four oddly dressed individuals were leaning over the railing, pointing toward where Fei Hu and the others were sitting. It was clear they were either talking about Yingzi or Ye Xiaofei. Fei Hu knew they had no interest in him at all.
With so much happening lately, Fei Hu didn’t want to stir up any trouble or create an unpleasant situation. He quickly said to Yingzi and Ye Xiaofei, “Let’s head back! Tomorrow is the first day back to work after the New Year; we absolutely cannot be late.”
Ye Xiaofei glanced at Yingzi, then nodded at Fei Hu, saying, “Alright! Let’s go back then.”
However, their movements were a bit slow; it was already too late to leave. Just then, three burly young men walked in. One of them spoke loudly to Yingzi and Ye Xiaofei, saying, “Ladies, please come upstairs; our boss wants to have a word with you.”
Ye Xiaofei slammed the bottle onto the table and said sternly, "Divine Essence, we don't know your boss, so there's nothing to discuss."
The young man chuckled and replied, "Everyone who comes here knows our boss is called Steel Brother. It's fine if you don't know; just chat with us, and you'll find out. Please!" He gestured in a somewhat domineering manner, implying that whether they wanted to go or not, they had to comply.
Fei Hu's concerns were realized; it was true that beautiful women often attracted trouble. It seemed this saying held some truth. If they were to blame anyone, it would be their looks. However, since the situation had arisen, Fei Hu couldn't just ignore it.
"This friend, the two ladies are shy. Please tell your boss thank you for his kindness, but we would prefer to skip the chat," Fei Hu stood up and politely addressed the young man.
To his surprise, the young man completely disregarded him. He glanced at Fei Hu and coldly said, "You should leave if you don't belong here; this is not a place for you to speak." His tone was arrogant and somewhat overbearing, but Fei Hu held back; he didn't want to cause more trouble.
Seeing this, Yingzi suddenly stood up, pulling Ye Xiaofei with her as she loudly declared, "We're leaving! Let's see who can stop us; this is outrageous!"
"Hahaha! Outrageous? This is the law here!" The young man laughed heartily and suddenly spread his arms wide. The two companions who came with him did the same. What was once a small space became quite cramped with the three of them blocking the way, making it difficult for anyone to leave.
Yingzi sneered and said, "Please retract your hands; otherwise, don’t blame me for being rude."
"Well! If you want to leave, let's see what you're capable of. I can tell you that there are dozens of us in this hall. If you don't behave tonight, the consequences will be severe."
Upon hearing this, Yingzi raised an eyebrow and stepped forward. Suddenly, she lifted her right leg and kicked out with lightning speed. This move was called a Skirt Kick, although she was wearing trousers. One of the men didn’t have time to react before Yingzi's kick sent him tumbling over the railing from behind. This scene elicited gasps from the surrounding crowd.
The young man was momentarily stunned; he never expected such a beautiful lady would possess such impressive skills.
