Fei Hu waited for a moment, noticing that the woman was still motionless. She might have been stunned by the scare. When he turned around, he saw a flash of red between her not-so-white legs. Oh my! She was exposed! Why wasn't she moving? Fei Hu felt anxious; under normal circumstances, he would enjoy this sight, but the situation was different now.
Just then, Yingzi ran over and helped the woman up while shooting a fierce glare at Fei Hu, who was still sitting on the ground. The woman seemed to come back to her senses and hurriedly said, "I'm sorry! Did I hurt him? Quickly help him up!"
Upon hearing this, Fei Hu felt a bit embarrassed and stood up, brushing off the dirt from his pants. He smiled slightly and said, "It's fine, I'm sturdy. A little fall doesn't matter." This man never missed a chance to show off in front of women.
Yingzi helped the woman straighten her clothes and said, "Why were you riding against traffic? That's very dangerous. But as long as everyone is okay, that's what matters. Just be more careful in the future."
The woman nodded with a smile and then tried to lift her bicycle. Oh no! The front of the bike was bent from the crash. She anxiously exclaimed, "What am I going to do? I'm going to be late for work, and there are no repair shops around here!"
Yingzi laughed and said, "Just call Boss and take a day off. This isn't something you did on purpose."
"No way! Our Breeding Farm is rented out to someone else, and we have a Container coming in this afternoon. I need to oversee the placement," the woman said, nearly in tears.
Fei Hu walked over, took the bicycle from her hands, examined it briefly, then clamped his legs around the front wheel while holding onto the handlebars. With a strong twist, he straightened the front of the bike back into place. The woman saw this and joyfully said, "You're amazing! Thank you so much! Let me treat you to tea sometime; can I have your phone number?" Her eyes sparkled with hope.
Before Fei Hu could respond, Yingzi spoke up first with a smile: "Did you just say you work at a Breeding Farm?"
"Yes! Our Breeding Farm is quite large, but business hasn't been great lately. One farm in the mountains has temporarily stopped operations, and we rented out the space a few days ago. Boss put me in charge, so I really can't afford any delays," the woman explained while glancing at Fei Hu, preparing to leave.
Yingzi stepped forward eagerly and said, "Hello miss, could you leave us your business card? We’d love to visit your Breeding Farm sometime."
Upon hearing this, Fei Hu almost laughed out loud. Was Yingzi crazy or something? Shouldn't it be his job to flirt? What was there to see at a farm—watching cows produce milk? It was unbelievable; he couldn't help but shake his head.
The woman hesitated for a moment before taking out two business cards from her small bag and handing one each to Yingzi and Fei Hu. As she got on her bike, she smiled at Fei Hu and said, "If you need anything, just call me on that number. Bye!" With that, she rode across the street.
Fei Hu glanced at the card and saw it listed as Assistant Manager Xu Yanfei, along with the address and phone number of the Breeding Farm. After reading it, he casually tossed it aside. He thought to himself how bored someone must be to visit a Breeding Farm.
Seeing Fei Hu's reaction, Yingzi walked over and picked up the card from the ground. She smiled and said, "You're really heartless. That Xu Yanfei seemed interested in you, yet you ignored her completely and even threw away her card. Is that how you do things?"
Fei Hu glared back and shouted, "She crashed into me! Why don't you mention that? You're defending her now—are you thinking about going to her Breeding Farm for some milk?"
"Enough! She bumped into you, but you took advantage of her. Don't benefit from it and then act innocent. You are becoming more and more hypocritical, it's infuriating to watch," Yingzi said angrily, quickening her pace and leaving Fei Hu behind.
Upon hearing that he had become hypocritical, Fei Hu couldn't let that slide. He quickly caught up to her and said softly, "You need to clarify that. What do you mean I took advantage of her? She fell on me, okay? Don't twist the facts."
Yingzi stopped immediately when she heard this. She frowned and lowered her voice, saying, "Is that so? When I got there, her skirt was lifted up to her thighs. Didn't you see anything? Why didn't you help her up right away? What were you waiting for? Were you trying to take advantage of her?"
Fei Hu felt both anxious and angry at Yingzi's words. Was he really that kind of person? He did see her underwear, but it was purely coincidental; he didn't mean to. The reason he didn't help her was that if he did, it would imply he was at fault for the collision, so he just sat there without moving. He never expected Yingzi would say something like this.
It was truly infuriating; he couldn't explain himself, so he decided not to say anything further. Fei Hu snorted coldly and strode ahead.
When he returned home, Fei Hu was drenched in sweat. He rushed into the bathroom to take a shower, then turned on the TV to watch a football match on Channel 5. Yingzi walked back and forth beside him, but Fei Hu didn't even glance at her, as if he was genuinely angry.
At dinner time, Yingzi changed into a different outfit and slapped a business card onto the coffee table, loudly saying, "Call her and arrange to meet."
Fei Hu glanced at Yingzi and deliberately picked up the card slowly. To his surprise, it was the card of Xu Yanfei from earlier. What did Yingzi mean by asking him to call her out? Fei Hu was genuinely confused; did she want to deliberately provoke him?
He tossed the card onto the table and asked Yingzi, "Have you lost your mind? Why should I call her out?"
Yingzi couldn't help but laugh at his reaction. She said, "You're the one who's lost your mind! You're thinking off-topic instead of focusing on the main issue. You keep saying you're smart, but when you're being foolish, you're even dumber than a pig."
Fei Hu glared at her in defiance.
Yingzi continued, "Think about it: although Xu Yanfei is involved in breeding, what she said today is worth considering. The Breeding Farm is renting out space for containers, and aren't we looking for containers? Isn't that a clue?" Yingzi countered.
"That can't be a coincidence! If it were true, that would be quite strange," Fei Hu replied dismissively.
Yingzi ignored his attitude and continued speaking. "Xu Yanfei mentioned that this space is temporarily rented out for containers. Pay attention to the word 'temporarily.' Also, she said these containers arrived this afternoon. The timing is crucial! Moreover, their Breeding Farm seems to be located behind the mountain—it's somewhat secluded. Think about how all these pieces fit together."
Hearing this, Fei Hu straightened up in his seat as his mind began to race. The time, location, and what they were looking for—it indeed had some potential leads. A sense of excitement bubbled up inside him as he shyly smiled at Yingzi and said, "Alright, I'll make that call right away." With that, Fei Hu dashed back into his room to grab his new phone that was charging.
"How do you like it? Is this phone good?" Yingzi nodded at him.
Fei Hu smiled while turning on the device. "Of course I like it! With five million pixels, it's almost like a digital camera with so many features—it's really powerful! It must have cost quite a bit!"
"You can just use it; this money is public funds, so you don't need to worry," Yingzi said with a glance at Fei Hu.
Fei Hu understood her meaning and quickly replied, "No matter whose money it is, you bought it, so the first person I want to thank is you. Thank you, Miss Yingzi." Fei Hu deliberately made his voice sound strange, which made Yingzi giggle.
After fixing his phone, Fei Hu picked up the business card on the table and dialed the number on it. Fortunately, the phone was connected. After a while, a woman's voice came through, "Hello! Who is this? What can I do for you?"
"I'm the person you bumped into this afternoon. Do you remember me?" Fei Hu said, almost laughing out loud from embarrassment. Yingzi, sitting next to him, hurriedly nudged him.
"How could I forget? I'm not suffering from amnesia. Is there something wrong? Did you get hurt from the bump?" Xu Yanfei's voice on the phone sounded a bit nervous.
Fei Hu chuckled and said, "No, my body is fine; how could I have any problems? I was wondering if you would like to have dinner together or maybe some tea if you're available."
Xu Yanfei paused for a moment on the phone and then replied, "That sounds fine, but I want to choose the place. You just need to come over; I can't go too far from home."
Fei Hu quickly responded, "Sure, that's no problem at all. Just let me know the address once you've decided, and we'll head over."
"Are there two of you?" Xu Yanfei asked on the phone.
Fei Hu was taken aback and quickly said, "Yes! It's both of us that you met today."
Xu Yanfei sounded a bit displeased as she said, "Alright then! You can come over later." Fei Hu felt a bit confused by Xu Yanfei's attitude.
