"What's going on with Early in the Morning? You're so happy, don't disturb the passengers," a woman's voice came through.
Chen Hui immediately stood up and heard Wang Yun laughing outside, "Train attendant, Chen Hui's boyfriend has arrived, and she won't even buy us wedding candies. You should say something."
"Really? Let me see, where is he?" A woman in her thirties appeared at the door. Fei Hu's eyes lit up; it was strange how all the women on this train were so beautiful. Fei Hu remembered that on the trains he had taken before, the attendants were all much older, either uncles or aunts, with hardly anyone eye-catching. Was this train specifically selected for beautiful women?
The beautiful train attendant assessed Fei Hu and smiled at Chen Hui, saying, "Not bad, huh? No wonder you’re so relaxed; it turns out you have a backup. This young man looks strong and handsome; being with him is definitely not a mistake."
Chen Hui shyly glanced at Fei Hu and laughed, "It's nothing like that, Train Attendant. Don't listen to Wang Yun's nonsense."
"Alright, alright, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. Just remember, chatting is fine, but don't disturb the passengers' rest. If anyone complains, I won't go easy on you," the train attendant said as she walked away with her long, beautiful legs.
Wang Yun and Chen Hui stuck out their tongues in fright, and Fei Hu laughed, "Your train attendant is really beautiful."
"Of course! Not only is the train attendant beautiful, but all the attendants are great. Our Chen Hui is the flower of the train; I didn't expect you to secretly pick her," Wang Yun said with a mischievous smile at Chen Hui.
Upon hearing this, Chen Hui's face turned slightly red as she chased after Wang Yun. At this moment, it seemed like it was time for the attendants to have breakfast.
In the carriage, some people had already gotten up; they began to wash up, and gradually conversations started to spread. A new day began in this atmosphere.
Fei Hu walked over to the lower bunk where Yingzi was sleeping. As soon as he sat down, Yingzi turned over and sat up. She said a bit shyly, "Thank you for your hard work; why don't you take a nap?"
"I'm not tired; it's time for breakfast. You should wash up! We'll go to the dining car to eat soon; aren't you hungry?" Fei Hu asked Yingzi with concern.
Yingzi nodded and softly said, "I forgot everything when I got nervous; even my wound—I only felt pain when it was almost dawn. I was running around last night and didn't even remember I was injured."
Fei Hu smiled; this woman was truly impressive—no wonder she came from a military background; few people have such willpower.
After breakfast, Fei Hu ran into Chen Hui in the aisle. She pulled him into her break room and whispered, "The train will arrive at Wuting Station soon; there will be more people getting on. I'll take you to buy a ticket. After we get that sorted out, I'll switch shifts. You won't get off during my break time, will you?" Chen Hui's words were filled with reluctance.
Fei Hu shook his head and said, "No, we will get off at Shanghang, probably by tomorrow morning."
"That's great! My home is in Shanghang. How about I invite you to my place?" Chen Hui said with an eager expression.
Fei Hu didn't expect Chen Hui to be so cute, completely like someone who hadn't grown up. He casually replied, "Sure! I love visiting."
The two of them joked around as if they were old friends.
Listening to their cheerful conversation, Yingzi, sitting by the window and looking at the scenery, felt an indescribable discomfort. This man was too charming; whoever liked him was bound to get hurt. Chen Hui might just be the next victim.
Having acquaintances made things easier. With Chen Hui's help, Fei Hu and Yingzi managed to get a bunk bed, which was extremely convenient. Once Chen Hui left, Yingzi beckoned Fei Hu to sit beside her and whispered, "I think we shouldn't get off at Shanghang; we should get off one or two stops earlier and take a bus back."
Fei Hu asked in confusion, "Why is that?"
"Didn't you see? Little Four brought a group of people chasing after Lin Yan. They might have guessed that we took this train, and the final destination is Shanghang. Plus, it's the closest station to City A. Don't you think they would send someone to wait for us there?"
"How could they send someone? Do you think they can fly over?" Fei Hu still didn't understand Yingzi's point.
Yingzi pointed her finger at Fei Hu's forehead and said, "You're such a fool! Have you been dazzled by the beauty? They can take a plane to City A and then drive to Shanghang. They have plenty of time. Even if they don't come over themselves, just a phone call to City A to send some people to catch us in Shanghang would be very easy. How could you not think of this? Weren't you quite smart before? What happened now?"
Fei Hu realized he hadn't thought of that. It seemed his mind wasn't on this matter; he had been too careless. With City A approaching, if he wasn't careful and made a mistake, it would be a huge loss.
Seeing Fei Hu's embarrassed expression, Yingzi gently patted his shoulder and said, "Just eat well and get some sleep. Our tough mission is still ahead. Also, I advise you not to hurt girls anymore. Look how nice she is to you; can you bear to hurt her?"
Upon hearing this, Fei Hu felt a bit unconvinced inside—who did he hurt? But then he thought about it and realized she was right; what he considered nothing might mean something significant to others. Those involved are often confused while outsiders see clearly. With this thought in mind, Fei Hu turned over and climbed onto his bunk, covering his head with the blanket. This sleep came a bit late for him.
In the hall of Ye Wu's villa, Little Four kept her head down and didn't dare say a word while Ye Wu paced back and forth with his hands behind his back. Suddenly, he stopped and asked loudly, "Can you confirm which Yingzi this woman is under the old man's command?"
Little Four anxiously scratched her head and said softly, "There were one or two people; they were both masked and wore black night gear. From their build, it seemed like one was male and one was female. As for whether it's her, I really can't be sure."
"Bastard! I spent so much money hiring people just to get such news! No one was caught, and the stuff was taken away. Do you know how serious the consequences are? My three million could go down the drain! If Ye Wei finds out I've ruined his plans, he won't kill me; that's strange! What do you think you can do? You bragged about hiring some 'three bears' from City A; I think they're more like three donkeys! Each one either twisted their leg or hurt their back—are they even fit for fighting?" Ye Wu roared, scaring Little Four into curling up in fear.
"What should we do? What should we do? Once the goods arrive in City A, there must be a Major Incident," Fei Hu muttered, clearly anxious this time.
Little Four suddenly stepped forward and whispered, "Brother Tiger, people act in their own interest; the heavens will not help those who don't. Moreover, Ye Wei is not on your side; he is just using your value. Why don't we..." Little Four paused, looking at Fei Hu, hesitating to continue.
Ye Wu glared and shouted, "Speak your mind! If you have something to say, say it! I don't believe you can spit out cash!"
Little Four licked his lips; he was really parched. Since last night, he had rushed after Yingzi and her group to Lin Yan, only to find that the car had already left. He returned to Donggang, took a flight, and after three hours finally arrived in City A without even having a sip of water. This matter was quite significant; he couldn't handle it alone.
"Drink it yourself! Hurry up and speak after you're done," Ye Wu said irritably.
Little Four picked up the teapot from the table and filled three cups before gulping them down in one go. Finally relieved, he said, "To ensure nothing goes wrong and Brother Tiger's investment in Ye Wei doesn't go to waste, we can hold back the cargo from the three trucks and not deliver it to Ye Wei. Based on my estimation, if we find a sales channel for the goods on these three trucks, Brother Tiger won't lose any money."
Upon hearing this, Ye Wu leaned forward and whispered, "You mean for me to hide the cargo from the three trucks that arrived in City A and not give it to Ye Wei? Is that what you're saying?"
"Exactly, Brother Tiger. We hold back the three trucks and observe the situation. If nothing happens, we can deliver later. If something does happen, these three trucks are almost in City A; it should be foolproof. Ye Wei won't know about it. Don't you think?" Little Four seemed to have thought this through on the way; it was indeed effective and cunning—no wonder he was with Ye Wu.
Ye Wu pondered for a moment before slapping his thigh and said, "No risk, no gain. Let's go with your plan. If this fails again, I won't need to scold you; you'll have to deal with it yourself."
Little Four quickly replied, "Brother Tiger, rest assured; this plan is foolproof."
After leaving Ye Wu's house, Little Four wiped his sweat. In fact, he hadn't told the whole truth earlier. After several encounters in Donggang, he had already recognized Fei Hu and Yingzi. He chose not to mention it because there were too many complications surrounding Fei Hu; Little Four was afraid of getting involved with him, so he simply kept quiet.
