Fei Hu suddenly unleashed his power, catching these people off guard. Coupled with the ferocity of Fei Hu's attacks, even a capable fighter like Scarred Face was knocked down into the drainage ditch. The few individuals who came with him couldn't help but retreat.
There was still Chen Dui, who, emboldened, waved a wooden stick around wildly while shouting nonsensically. Fei Hu paid no mind to who he was and swung his steel pipe directly at Chen Dui's lower body. Seeing this, Chen Dui shouted and tried to block with the stick, but it snapped with a crack as the steel pipe's residual force struck his calf. He howled like a wolf and rolled into the drainage ditch, splashing water everywhere.
The remaining security captain led his few men away, and by the time Fei Hu pursued them, they had already run forty to fifty meters away. Little Four noticed that Fei Hu had single-handedly dealt with one side in just a moment. He initially intended to charge in immediately but harbored a selfish thought; he wanted Scarred Face and the others to fight Fei Hu for a while first. When Fei Hu was exhausted, he would then lead his men in. Unexpectedly, Scarred Face and Chen Dui were defeated so quickly that he had no choice but to act.
The monkey beside Little Four, being quite clever, immediately said to him, “Fourth Brother, let’s send in the Wu Brothers. They are formidable; we can't let them come for nothing.”
“Right, how could I forget about you guys?” Little Four replied as he stepped back and gestured for the three plump individuals beside him to come forward.
These three looked robust and were of similar height—average build. Interestingly, they were all bald and appeared to be around thirty years old.
The one standing in the middle clearly looked like the leader of the trio. It was easy to see from both age and demeanor. The monkey noticed that the three didn’t move and quickly leaned forward to say, “Wu Lao Da, it’s your turn to take action. You’re not afraid, are you? That would ruin your reputation as the Wu's Three Ghosts. Besides, if you don’t act, there’s no way you’ll get paid.”
The bald man in the middle glared with wide eyes; he seemed to be Wu Da. He coldly asked, “Just these two? If we take them down for you, you’ll pay us twenty thousand right away. Otherwise, we Wu Brothers are not easy to deal with either.”
“Just talking without action means nothing. Let’s capture them first; we can discuss money later. Didn’t you see? The box in the car is filled with cash,” the monkey said provocatively. Meanwhile, Little Four silently nodded; this guy seemed more cunning than he had expected at this critical moment.
Fei Hu glanced at Yingzi, unsure of what Little Four meant—whether they should engage or not. If they didn’t act soon, he might have to leave. At that moment, Scarred Face and Chen Dui crawled out of the ditch, their cries sounding extremely pitiful. Fei Hu thought that it was likely that Scarred Face had broken his leg; this was his first time being so ruthless. After all, who told him to provoke him?
Yingzi gently tugged at Fei Hu, whispering, “You focus on the front; I’ll handle these guys behind us. Hold on a bit longer; I think Ni Ling and the others will arrive soon.”
Upon hearing this, Fei Hu felt a surge of joy in his heart. He stepped into the middle of the road and noticed that cars lined up not far behind him; everyone seemed to have noticed the brawl and dared not pass through, coming to a halt instead.
Wu Da glanced at the masked Fei Hu, quietly saying, “Old Two on the left, Third Brother on the right; I’ll attack from the middle. I don’t believe this kid has three heads and six arms.”
The two bald men beside him nodded simultaneously, and the three of them charged towards Fei Hu.
Little Four noticed the Wu Brothers were moving, so he gently pulled the monkey and said, "Tell the brothers in the car to get ready. If the Wu trio also falls, aim for their legs." The monkey nodded and turned to slip into the car.
Seeing the three bald men closing in from three sides, Fei Hu began to strategize. He knew he had to strike first; once they formed a pincer movement, he would be in serious trouble.
When the Wu Brothers were about five or six meters away from Fei Hu, all three reached behind their waists and drew out gleaming machetes. Upon seeing the machetes, Fei Hu felt a surge of anger; his shoulder injury hadn't healed yet, and now they wanted to chop him up—no way!
Seizing the opportunity, Fei Hu suddenly lunged forward with a move called "Hungry Tiger Pounces," aiming directly at Wu San on his right. The speed and momentum caught Wu San off guard. Just as Wu San's machete was halfway extended, Fei Hu's steel pipe struck his leg. Although he didn't scream, he fell to the ground with a thud.
Wu Da and Wu Er were startled. At that moment, Fei Hu executed a move called "Autumn Wind Sweeps Away Leaves," swinging his steel pipe towards their feet. Fortunately, both of them were seasoned fighters; the eldest quickly leaped up while the second one panicked and rolled away like a lazy donkey, narrowly avoiding Fei Hu's attack.
Not one to back down, Fei Hu retracted his steel pipe and instantly changed tactics. The end of the pipe shot forward like a spear, aiming for Wu Da's throat. This terrified Wu Da; if he got hit there, would he even survive? He quickly crouched down, mimicking his brother's earlier move, rolling on the ground to join Wu Er. His face paled, hands trembled, and he dared not attack again.
Suddenly, Little Four stepped back and waved his hand. Yingzi, who was standing behind Fei Hu, lunged forward and pinned him to the ground. She shouted, "Roll back!" Hearing this, Fei Hu followed Yingzi's lead and started rolling on the ground. Behind them came loud "thuds" as dust flew up from the concrete road; Fei Hu realized that someone was hiding in the car shooting at him.
Enraged, Fei Hu executed a spinning kick in mid-air while his steel pipe whistled through the air but struck a nearby sedan instead. With a loud crash, the car window shattered, and the gunfire abruptly ceased. Little Four was so frightened that he ducked under the car.
Yingzi stood up from the ground, grabbed Fei Hu's hand, and whispered, "Run!"
The roadside was lined with farmland; without caring about the mud anymore, Fei Hu and Yingzi sprinted across it. After running for a while and looking back, they saw Little Four leading seven or eight people chasing after them not far behind.
Yingzi caught her breath briefly before pulling Fei Hu along towards a nearby village. Both of them were fit from training; once they started running, Little Four's group of clumsy fools couldn't keep up with them. After more than ten minutes of running, they no longer saw any trace of Little Four.
Covered in mud, they looked like refugees on the road as passersby cast curious glances at them. Fei Hu smiled at Yingzi and said, "We should find a place to wash up; otherwise, you’ll turn into a beggar with your beauty."
Yingzi smiled wryly and gritted her teeth, saying, "I won't wash up; I need to rest for a bit. Looking like this is too conspicuous, and Little Four will catch up soon."
Fei Hu glanced at Yingzi's pained expression and asked with concern, "Did you hurt your shoulder again?"
"I accidentally bumped it while rolling on the ground; it seems to be bleeding again," Yingzi replied, furrowing her brow, clearly in significant pain.
What should they do? The village didn't seem very large, and she wasn't sure if there was a clinic nearby. Suddenly, Fei Hu thought of Chen Hui; wasn't she from Shanghang? She might be close by. With that thought, Fei Hu quickly took out her phone and called Chen Hui. It was fortunate that Chen Hui said she was just resting and lived not far from the village. She told Fei Hu and Yingzi to head to the east side of the village, and she would come over shortly.
Fei Hu was delighted to hear this and immediately helped Yingzi toward the east side of the village. Just as they sat down, they saw a motorcycle roaring toward them. As it reached Fei Hu, it came to an abrupt stop, and Chen Hui jumped off the bike. Without her railway uniform, she looked even more beautiful in a pink shirt and blue jeans that showcased her figure perfectly.
"Hey, what happened? Is she injured? She looks terrible," Chen Hui said bluntly.
Fei Hu nodded quickly and smiled, saying, "Please take us to the clinic; I'll explain everything else later."
"Alright, just ahead is Town Hospital. My house is right behind the hospital; hop on," Chen Hui said as she climbed onto the motorcycle.
Fei Hu helped Yingzi sit properly but felt a bit uneasy. "You guys go ahead; I'll walk over."
Chen Hui revved the engine, narrowed her eyes, and shouted, "Get on! Don't underestimate my skills; you'll see how amazing I am in a bit!"
With no choice, Fei Hu complied and got on. With a roar, the motorcycle shot forward like an arrow. This girl was surprisingly skilled at riding; within minutes, they arrived at the hospital. With Chen Hui's help, Yingzi quickly received treatment. Watching the smiling Chen Hui in front of her made Fei Hu feel as if everything was like a dream.
