As the door to the villa's hall swung open, the beautiful faces of seven or eight young women appeared, all dressed in very revealing outfits. They showed off what they could and squeezed out what they shouldn't, leaving Fei Hu feeling like a bee lost in a garden of flowers, his eyes wide with confusion over which one to look at first.
The moment these women saw Xiao Fei, they immediately surrounded her, grabbing her hands and chatting excitedly, leaving Fei Hu to stand alone on the side. Not that he minded; he wandered deeper into the hall. Wow, it was truly impressive. Originally a villa, it was now adorned with high-end decor, showcasing a European style. Standing there, Fei Hu felt as if he were in a painting.
"Hey, Fei Hu, come here for a moment. Let me introduce you to some of my friends," Ye Xiaofei called out cheerfully. It was only then that Fei Hu snapped back to reality and slowly walked over to Ye Xiaofei.
Ye Xiaofei affectionately took Fei Hu's hand and said, "This tall girl with big eyes is Li Qin, the owner of this villa. We sleep in bunk beds together. This lovely lady is Li Min, my roommate and now the Vice President at High Tech—much more capable than I am. And this one here, the most seductive sister, is Chen Sisi; she's about to get married..." Ye Xiaofei introduced each of the stunning women rapidly, leaving Fei Hu overwhelmed—not only could he not remember their names, but he could barely take in their appearances.
However, he did manage to remember two of them: Li Qin, because she was the owner of the villa and stood out with her height and figure—tall with a well-defined chest and a slim waist—and Chen Sisi, who wore the most revealing outfit among them: a strap dress paired with shorts that barely reached her thighs. The upper half was pure white while the lower half was equally pristine. Especially when she nodded at Fei Hu while bending slightly, her curves nearly spilled out; although not overly large, it was certainly eye-catching. Fei Hu couldn't help but wonder if she was wearing any kind of bra.
Seeing that Ye Xiaofei had introduced everyone in one breath, Li Qin opened her red lips and chimed in with a voice like silver bells: "Fei, stop introducing us for now; tell us about your boyfriend instead. Everyone is eager to know."
Ye Xiaofei glanced at the dazed Fei Hu and playfully patted his back saying, "This strong man here is named Fei Hu; currently, he is my full-time driver and bodyguard. That's all! Do you have any questions?"
"Yes! What about your relationship? It can't be so straightforward; there must be more to it," Chen Sisi remarked bluntly. A woman about to get married certainly spoke her mind. Ye Xiaofei's face flushed slightly as she chased after her friends who had started teasing each other, filling the hall with laughter.
After some playful banter, Ye Xiaofei asked, "Wait a minute! Where are your princes charming? Are they too shy to show themselves?"
"Not at all! Their main task today is to work; they should be almost done by now. Let's head upstairs," Li Qin said as she waved for Ye Xiaofei and Fei Hu to follow her up the stairs.
As they climbed up behind her, Fei Hu couldn't help but steal glances at Li Qin's long legs, thinking that this woman might have been a model given her stunning figure.
Upon reaching the rooftop, Fei Hu finally understood how the wealthy lived. The expansive rooftop was covered with thick carpets and surrounded by an array of colorful flowers. Many decorative lights hung overhead; as night fell slowly, these lights twinkled enchantingly. Several rows of tables were set up with an assortment of fruits—dragon fruit and snake fruit—fruits that usually seemed exotic but appeared quite ordinary here.
As the music began to play, the women moved gracefully like dancing butterflies, weaving between each table. Several staff members, resembling maids, held trays with goblets filled with red wine. Just as Fei Hu was lost in thought, Li Qin approached him, taking two glasses of red wine from the tray and smiling as she said, "Please."
Fei Hu quickly accepted the glasses, lightly clinking his glass against Li Qin's while smiling and saying, "Thank you, Miss Li, you look truly beautiful." At the same time, his eyes darted like lightning over Li Qin.
"Really? Hearing you say that makes me quite happy. Later, dance a couple of songs with me. Everyone here is young; we’re all just looking for fun and joy," Li Qin said, raising her glass and taking a sip of red wine, looking incredibly charming.
Fei Hu chuckled and replied, "With such a big house, you can't possibly live here alone. I haven't seen any family members around."
"Ha ha, you're right! My parents work for a multinational company and are often away. They don't spend much time here. My grandfather immigrated to Australia long ago; he only comes to stay for a few days during the New Year. This house has almost become mine alone. You must come by often," Li Qin said with a smile.
Ye Xiaofei might have gone off to drink with others, so Fei Hu continued chatting with Li Qin for a while longer. For some reason, he felt an easy connection with her; they had only just met, yet their conversation flowed effortlessly. He wondered if it was because he had too many questions or if Li Qin was simply good at chatting.
"Hey, Li Qin, come here for a moment! Why isn't your mic working?" A handsome young man in a white suit called out. Li Qin nodded apologetically at Fei Hu and quickly walked over. Watching her captivating figure leave made Fei Hu feel quite dazed.
"Wow, your eyes are about to pop out! You really shouldn't have brought him to this kind of event. You should know that everyone here is beautiful; are you really trying to compete? What a big flirt!" Ye Xiaofei suddenly appeared out of nowhere, her cheeks flushed—she must have had quite a bit to drink.
Fei Hu looked at her and mustered his courage to reach out, placing one hand on Ye Xiaofei's shoulder while raising his glass with the other. "Come on, gorgeous! I think no woman here can compare to you because in my heart, you are the most beautiful one. This impression is deeply etched in my mind; if you don’t believe me, feel it—it’s right here in my heart," Fei Hu said as he puffed out his chest.
Ye Xiaofei playfully twisted in Fei Hu's embrace and softly said, "You've really changed! I used to see you as nothing but a big flirt. Now you seem more human-like but still very much a flirt. I can feel the fire in your eyes whenever you see a pretty woman. But be careful; you're only allowed to look and not get any ideas. Otherwise, you know how fierce I can be," Ye Xiaofei said while pinching Fei Hu's side playfully. The weather had warmed up, and since he was only wearing thin pants, her pinch almost made him yelp.
"Hey! What are you two doing standing there showing off your affection? Why don’t you go join everyone else?" As Fei Hu and Ye Xiaofei turned around, they saw Chen Sisi standing behind them with a drink in hand, smiling at them.
Fei Hu reacted quickly; he stepped forward and smiled saying, "Miss Chen, let’s have a drink." He extended his glass and gently clinked it against Chen Sisi's before taking a sip himself, looking quite gentlemanly.
Chen Sisi took a ceremonial sip and leaned towards Ye Xiaofei, saying, "The man you found looks so comfortable. I regret my choice now; you really know how to pick them. After all these years without any action, it turns out you were waiting for the best one to appear. I really regret getting into a relationship early." Although Chen Sisi lowered her voice, Fei Hu still heard her clearly.
Ye Xiaofei gazed affectionately at Fei Hu, patted Chen Sisi on the shoulder, and said, "Don't say that. You're not bad either. It's all about fate; there's no need to talk about picking and choosing. Let's go over there and have fun together." As Ye Xiaofei spoke, she pulled Fei Hu along, and the three of them walked over.
Fei Hu then saw that the so-called princes charming these women were busy preparing dinner. It seemed they were doing a Chinese-style barbecue along with some Western cuisine. Everyone was bustling about happily. Fei Hu thought to himself that Ye Xiaofei cared for him by not making him do such work. Just as this thought crossed his mind, a man in a white suit called out to Ye Xiaofei, "Xiaofei, let your boyfriend come help out; you're spoiling him too much."
Before Ye Xiaofei could respond, Li Qin interjected, "Li Jie, just do your thing. This is our special guest Fei Hu tonight; how could we let him work? That's impossible! So hurry up and speak; we need to eat!" Li Qin said as she pushed Fei Hu down into a seat.
Before long, the barbecue dishes were all served on the table. Fei Hu looked around and saw there were eight women and six men, indicating there might be some single women or those whose boyfriends hadn’t arrived yet. Under Li Qin's arrangement, everyone took their seats. To Fei Hu's left was Ye Xiaofei, and to his right was Li Qin, while Wang Sisi and the man in the white suit sat across from them.
After Li Qin exchanged a few pleasantries, everyone began to eat. While Fei Hu busily served food to Ye Xiaofei, he thought about how beautiful Li Qin was and wondered why she was still single. It seemed unreasonable; could she be an anti-marriage advocate? In today's society, such views were becoming increasingly common.
As they ate and drank together, everyone was having a great time at this rooftop picnic—an elegant one at that. For Fei Hu, it was truly his first experience like this in his life. He felt the vast difference between people; although he was sitting there too, he was merely a follower. Given his own capabilities, he doubted he would ever achieve such a lifestyle.
"Ye Xiaofei, it's been so long since we last met. Why do I feel like you're being cold towards everyone? Holding a gathering and arriving so late made so many people wait for you; is it just because you only care about your boyfriend?" The man in white sitting next to Chen Sisi suddenly raised his glass and spoke.
"Hey, Li Jie, why do you have such a big opinion of me? I think I explained this to Li Qin already," Ye Xiaofei replied calmly.
