One thing led to another, and Fei Hu's resentment surged like the waters of the Yangtze River, breaking through the dam; it could not be contained. He shouted loudly, cursing, but no one knew who he was cursing or what he was lamenting about, yet others dared not ask.
When the last drop of alcohol from the bottle was poured into Fei Hu's stomach, he finally swayed and collapsed. After some effort, they managed to get him onto the bed. He had drunk so much that he was utterly wasted; lying on the bed, he had no more words to say and no more antics to perform—he simply fell into a deep sleep.
A-Lian and Xiao Qi were tidying up the table while sighing, "What could have triggered him? I listened for a long time but couldn't catch a single clear word. One thing is certain: he has completely lost it. For such a strong person, once he falls down, getting back up isn't an easy task."
Bald Zhang let out a sigh and said, "Seeing him like this makes me uneasy, but there's nothing I can do to help him. I caught a few snippets; he said he was wronged by someone and got fired because of it. This matter involves women and alcohol—he's been cursing women and alcohol back and forth."
"Getting fired is just getting fired; what's the big deal? What does a small security guard have to cling to? Once he's sober, he can come work at my game room. After a month, I'll pay him two or three times what a security guard earns. Besides, our boss is good-natured, skilled, and not bad-looking—how could he be upset over a woman? I really don't understand; if it were me, I'd change partners every day. I doubt I'd feel heartbroken," Feng Jie said with her hands on her hips, fueled by alcohol.
While Fei Hu was inebriated beyond recognition, Wang Qian and Ye Wei were having dinner in a private room at the Lishui Grand Hotel. Ye Wei kept serving delicious food to Wang Qian, almost wanting to offer herself as well. This attentiveness deeply moved Wang Qian, who smiled and said, "Alright, you should eat too; you've never treated me this well before."

Sister Wu and Yingzi sat quietly watching the agitated Ye Cheng, feeling powerless themselves. Suddenly, Ye Cheng stopped pacing and turned to Yingzi, asking, "Child! What are your thoughts on this matter? Speak freely; say whatever comes to mind."
Yingzi let out a sigh and said, "I think this whole thing is a conspiracy. It seems that Wang Qian and Ye Wei have been planning this for a long time, digging a pit and waiting for them to jump in. Personally, I believe this is just the beginning. Once they get Fei Hu out of Sheng Wei, they can focus entirely on dealing with Sister Xiofei. That should be their ultimate goal."
"Fei Hu! Isn't he just a security guard? Whether he is there or not, what impact does it have on them? Even if he has gotten a bit closer to Xiaofei and often comes to our villa, what does that prove? Isn't what they are doing a bit too ruthless?" Sister Wu said this with great agitation, clearly feeling indignant on behalf of Fei Hu.
Yingzi stood up and poured each of them a cup of tea before quietly saying, "Fei Hu holds some information about Wang Qian and Ye Wei. His presence is a threat to both of them, so this malicious woman used such a tactic to drive Fei Hu away while also hurting Sister Xiofei. This has been premeditated."
Upon hearing this, Sister Wu suddenly realized, but she still felt puzzled and said, "Even if that's the case, why did Fei Hu fall for her trick so easily? This is very hard to understand."

Fei Hu's departure from Sheng Wei seemed to have stirred many people's hearts. The next morning, Ye Wu received a report from Little Four. On the phone, he ordered Little Four, saying, "This person has many doubts surrounding him. We don't have time to investigate his past, but from now on, we must be on high alert. If he does anything against us, there's no need to report it to me; just drive him out of A City. If necessary, any means are justified because he is no longer under the old man's protection."
As soon as Little Four hung up the phone, his sidekick Monkey approached him with a grin and asked, "Boss, what are your orders? Should we take care of him?" As he spoke, he made a gesture as if slashing someone.
Little Four nodded and cryptically replied, "Something like that!"
"Hey Fourth Brother! We absolutely cannot get rid of this person. With him around, we have value; stirring things up every now and then isn't bad at all. If we drive him away, what use would Brother Tiger have for us? Don't you think?" Monkey was clever and his thoughts aligned perfectly with Little Four's.
Little Four curled his lip in disdain at Monkey but secretly agreed; if no one came to cause trouble and create issues for Ye Wu, he might have changed careers long ago.
Fei Hu slept until noon; if it weren't for his stomach protesting, he wouldn't want to get up at all. After all, when asleep he didn't have to think about anything and had fewer worries. He turned over and sat up; his head no longer hurt but his stomach felt a bit uncomfortable. As Fei Hu moved around a bit, he noticed a note left on the bedside table. He picked it up and saw beautifully written words: "I've prepared new clothes for you by the bed; change into them! Forget about yesterday; Zeng Xin came by. One cannot always live in the past."
After reading the note, Fei Hu felt embarrassed about his actions yesterday; how could he be worse than a woman? Thinking this way, he picked up the clothes from the bedside and saw they were all new—even new underwear was prepared for him. Fei Hu felt extremely grateful towards A-Lian.
After changing into new clothes and washing his face, Fei Hu felt much more refreshed. He found a bucket under the bed and was about to take the dirty clothes outside to wash when Xiao Qi pushed the door open and came in. Seeing Fei Hu preparing to do laundry, she quickly said, "Put that down! You don't need to do that. Hurry to the cafeteria; your meal is ready!"
Fei Hu thought for a moment and then went to the cafeteria. The cook, surprised to see Fei Hu there, said, "Oh! If you had just called, I would have brought it to you. When Xiao Qi came by earlier, she said you were still sleeping, so I covered the food. It's still warm, so eat up!" The cook quickly placed the food in front of Fei Hu.
It was clear that they had prepared a special meal for him. Fei Hu understood the current situation of A-Lian and the others. The small factory had only been operating for a little over a year, and they still had over five hundred thousand in unpaid invoices. This was likely their most difficult period, and the employees' lives were quite tough. From A-Lian's room, Fei Hu noticed bundles of pickled vegetables, which made him realize what their lives were like.
Fei Hu quickly finished his shredded potatoes but left an entire plate of braised pork behind. He told the cook, "I drank too much last night and my stomach isn't feeling well. I don't want greasy food; please add this plate of meat to tonight's meal so everyone can have some."
The cook looked at Fei Hu with a smile and said, "You want to treat everyone to meat? I'll accept your kind gesture on their behalf; thank you!" Fei Hu didn't expect his good intentions to be seen through and felt a bit embarrassed as he left the cafeteria.
Standing in the yard for a moment, he thought it over. Yesterday's events were a bit strange; he needed to find Ye Xiaofei today to clarify things; otherwise, he would truly be taken advantage of.
With that in mind, Fei Hu told Xiao Qi, who was washing his clothes, "I'm heading back to the city. I'll contact you all by phone if needed." After saying that, he turned and left, eager to reach Ye Xiaofei.
Xiao Qi wanted to stop him but ultimately stayed put. She was smart enough to know that once Fei Hu made up his mind, it would be futile for her to try and change it. Although A-Lian had instructed her to keep an eye on Fei Hu and not let him wander around, given his current state, stopping him was impossible.
As Fei Hu exited the factory gate, he spotted a taxi passing by. He waved it down, and it stopped. However, there was already someone sitting in the back seat. The driver warmly asked where he wanted to go. Fei Hu stated his destination, and the person in the back said, "It's on my way; let's go together."
Fei Hu was eager to get going; since they mentioned it was on their way, he didn't think much of it and took a seat in the front passenger seat. Once the car started moving, he began to sense something was off because the driver kept glancing back at him through the rearview mirror.
Who exactly was sitting in the back? Fei Hu hadn't paid attention when he got in. Unintentionally, he noticed that instead of heading toward the city center, they were veering toward the suburbs. Why was that?
