The one hundred thousand brought by Fei Hu was quickly put to use. That day, A-Lian sent Xiao Qi to buy materials. Watching the factory bustling with activity, Fei Hu felt an indescribable sense of satisfaction.
The conversation with Yingzi from yesterday lingered in Fei Hu's mind. Yingzi said Ye Xiaofei was going to America. Wasn't that absurd? If she left, the Ye Family would truly fall apart. After all the hardships and scares everyone had endured over the past few days, would it all be for nothing? Was this woman being a bit too willful? Had she even considered her grandfather, Ye Cheng?
Fei Hu paced back and forth in the office, feeling extremely anxious. He really didn't know what he could do to alleviate Old Master Ye's worries. From another perspective, Ye Xiaofei's sudden trip to America was inevitably related to him; he was essentially a fuse in this situation. If things went wrong, he could indeed become the sinner of the Ye Family.

Just then, his phone rang. He looked at it and couldn't help but feel delighted; it was none other than Old Wang from Shengwei Group's Security Team calling him. Fei Hu was thrilled and quickly answered, saying into the phone, "Team Leader Wang, I can't believe you still remember me! What made you think of calling me today?"
"Haha! You're not a big deal; why should I always think of you? Today Ye Wei and Wang Qian went out together for some friend's celebration or something. The company is temporarily empty, and I'm just sitting here bored, so I thought I'd call and see what you've been up to lately," Team Leader Wang laughed happily on the other end.
Fei Hu quickly asked, "If those two are out, isn't Ye Xiaofei still around? Is she not handling anything?"
"Hey! You wouldn't believe it; ever since you left, Ye Xiaofei has changed completely. She sits in the office every day without going out and seems to be ignoring everything. Now all the affairs are managed by Wang Qian alone. I'm a bit curious—did you have something going on with her? Your departure seems to have affected her so much that she doesn't even feel like coming to work," Team Leader Wang joked mischievously.
Fei Hu glanced at his watch; it was nine o'clock now. If he called Shengwei at ten o'clock, why not take this opportunity to see Ye Xiaofei? Perhaps his words could sway her back. If that happened, he would feel much more at ease and could face Old Master Ye without guilt.
With this thought in mind, Fei Hu hurriedly said into the phone, "Old brother, can you do me a favor?"
Wow! This was the first time Fei Hu had spoken so sweetly; Team Leader Wang was a bit taken aback and replied, "You’re sounding pretty confident there! What can I help you with? Are you asking me to set you up with one of Shengwei's beauties? That's easy; I've got you covered." Team Leader Wang was getting on in years but still enjoyed making such jokes.
Fei Hu said anxiously, "No, I want to go find Ye Xiaofei at Shengwei. Just let me in; after all, Ye Wei and Wang Qian are not here. You have nothing to fear; what do you think?"
"What? Are you crazy? Ye Wei has issued a strict order that anyone who sees you at Shengwei should either capture you or call the police! Do you still dare to come? Are you trying to ruin my job?" Team Leader Wang immediately became tense upon hearing that Fei Hu wanted to go to Shengwei.
Fei Hu chuckled and said, "Don't worry, I won't drag you down. Once I put on some makeup and step through the main entrance and into the elevator, everything will be fine. You have to help me with this; otherwise, brother, I won't recognize you as my older brother." Fei Hu was both coaxing and intimidating.
On the other end of the phone, Team Leader Wang took a while before saying, "Alright! You come over, but you really need to put on some makeup. At least make sure no one can recognize you at first glance. I'll take a gamble on this; if it doesn't work out, I can always quit this job." It seemed Team Leader Wang had made up his mind.
"Don't worry! I'll consider your situation. I'll arrive around ten," Fei Hu said before hanging up the phone.
A-Lian happened to return to the office to grab something. Fei Hu exchanged a few words with her before heading to his room, where he found the Big Sunglasses and mask that Yingzi had bought for him earlier. He also pulled out a new outfit he had never worn before. Once he was dressed up, he put on the sunglasses and mask. Looking in the mirror, he hardly recognized himself; he looked like a terrorist.
Fortunately, luck was on his side. He waited just a few minutes outside the factory gate before hailing a taxi. Upon hearing that he wanted to go downtown, the driver was quite happy since it counted as a long-distance trip and would be profitable.
The ride went smoothly, and they quickly reached the Overpass. As they got closer to Sheng Wei, Fei Hu felt increasingly heavy-hearted.
Upon arriving at the entrance of Shengwei Group, Fei Hu felt an overwhelming sense of familiarity; after all, he had spent over a year there. Unexpectedly, everything had changed in just a few days. He used to walk in confidently, but now he could only sneak in quietly. Fei Hu suddenly felt that the changes in life were happening too fast.
"Hey! Hello! You're here as a visitor, right? Please register and get your badge," just as Fei Hu was lost in thought, Team Leader Wang called out to him from afar. It turned out he had noticed Fei Hu long ago; wearing a mask on such a hot day was certainly eye-catching.
Snapping back to reality, Fei Hu stepped into the Guard Room, pretended to scribble something in the registration book, and Team Leader Wang casually hung a visitor badge around his neck while whispering, "Try to be quick; there's no security on duty in the lobby right now. If the elevator isn't on the first floor, you'll have to climb a few flights of stairs before taking it. Hurry!" Team Leader Wang said as he glanced outside.
Without saying a word, Fei Hu quickly entered the lobby on the first floor. Fortune smiled upon him; the elevator was right there on the ground floor. He pressed the button and stepped inside. Just as he was secretly celebrating that he hadn't run into anyone familiar, he suddenly sensed movement behind him—more frightening than bumping into a ghost. When he entered quickly, he hadn't looked back at all; could there be someone else inside?
His heart raced wildly as he turned around. To his surprise, standing at the back of the elevator was a woman in management attire who had been playing with her phone. His sudden entrance startled her as well; their eyes met, and Fei Hu's heart nearly leaped out of his chest—it was none other than Miss Li, the head of Human Resources.
As Miss Li was about to scrutinize him closely, Fei Hu quickly turned around and pressed the button for the 28th floor. He decided to go all out; there was no point in worrying anymore since things had already come to this point. At that moment, he felt less afraid; what scared him more was that Team Leader Wang might lose his job because of him—he owed him too much for this favor.
As the elevator ascended, suddenly Fei Hu heard Miss Li softly say, "Don't be afraid, Fei Hu, I didn't see anything; I'm getting off at 27." Saying this, she stepped forward and pressed 27. Just then, the elevator stopped at that floor. As she was about to exit, she turned back and smiled at Fei Hu.
Fei Hu patted his chest and thought to himself that this was much more uncomfortable than being a thief.
The door to the President's Office was tightly closed. Fei Hu hesitated to knock and gently twisted the doorknob. With a click, the door surprisingly opened. Cautiously, Fei Hu pushed the door open just enough to slip inside.
"Get out! You didn't knock; who let you in?" Ye Xiaofei shouted sternly.
When Fei Hu looked up, he saw Ye Xiaofei staring intently at her computer, not even glancing at him. In just a few days, Ye Xiaofei had lost quite a bit of weight; her once fair complexion now appeared pale and somewhat sickly. Seeing this made Fei Hu feel a pang of sympathy for her.
Noticing that her reprimand had not elicited any response, Ye Xiaofei finally lifted her head. She was startled and nervously asked, "Who are you? What do you want?" She anxiously grabbed a pen holder from her desk.
As Fei Hu walked forward, he removed his mask and sunglasses. When Ye Xiaofei recognized him as Fei Hu, her usual calm demeanor vanished. She slowly sat down and returned the pen holder to its place before casually saying, "It's broad daylight; I thought I was seeing things. What are you doing here? You don't seem to be an employee of Sheng Wei anymore, so I could easily have someone throw you out." As she spoke, she reached for the phone on her desk.
Fei Hu was infuriated; this woman was too domineering! She didn't even give him a chance to speak. He rushed over, snatched the phone from the desk, and tossed the receiver out of Ye Xiaofei's reach.
"What do you think you're doing? This is thuggish behavior; I could easily call the police," Ye Xiaofei said, her face turning pale with anger as she pulled out her cellphone from her pocket. However, after a moment's hesitation, she ultimately did not dial.
Fei Hu took a deep breath to calm himself before speaking softly, "Please don't be angry. I know you don't want to see me, but I have a few words to say. Once I'm done, I'll leave immediately. You won't need to call anyone to throw me out; I still have some self-awareness."
"Are you out of your mind? Why should I listen to you? Just leave! Before I change my mind, otherwise you'll end up in prison. You need to understand that you're guilty of rape; not only will Sheng Wei not let you off the hook, but neither will People's Law," Ye Xiaofei said angrily as she pounded on the table.
Fei Hu straightened up and retorted sharply, "Whether I'm guilty or not isn't for you to decide. After I finish speaking, feel free to call the police. I genuinely want the world to see why such a scandal exists in Shengwei Group Company." Upon hearing this, Ye Xiaofei froze in shock.
