Fei Hu, having spent a sleepless night, was utterly exhausted. Although he was next to the stunning Alice, he felt drained and soon fell into a deep sleep. In his dreams, everything was troubling; it was either fighting or killing, or he was heartbroken.
Suddenly, Fei Hu was awakened by Alice shaking him gently. She softly said, "Your phone has been ringing several times. Do you want to answer it? What if it's something urgent?" Looking at the drowsy Fei Hu, Alice affectionately kissed him on the cheek.
Fei Hu took the phone from Alice's hand and saw that it was A-Lian calling. He quickly pressed the answer button. A-Lian's cheerful voice came through the phone, "Fei Hu! My visa has been approved! I want to buy a plane ticket right now. Can you give me your passport?"
"Sure! I'll bring it over shortly," Fei Hu replied before hanging up. He reluctantly kissed Alice on the cheek and got out of bed with a yawn.
Smart Alice didn't ask further; she simply said, "Do you want me to drive you there?"
"No need, just rest well! You haven't slept all night and must be tired too. I'll just take a quick ride over," Fei Hu said quickly, already heading out the door.
Back at the factory, Fei Hu rushed to A-Lian's office with his ID in hand. A-Lian was busy assigning tasks to Xiao Qi since the duration of her trip was uncertain. As soon as Fei Hu sat down in a chair, he began yawning repeatedly. A-Lian noticed and paused her work, smiling as she asked, "What's wrong with you? It looks like you haven't slept for days. Your complexion is like someone who's been seriously ill." Hearing this made Fei Hu's heart tremble; he had indeed been feeling a bit run-down lately due to exhaustion from last night's fight.
"Here's my passport; go ahead and buy your ticket! I need to go back and rest," Fei Hu said as he stood up to leave.
Xiao Qi glanced at A-Lian in confusion and remarked, "Brother Tiger seems to have a lot on his mind lately. It's hard to understand what he's thinking all day long." Xiao Qi shook her head helplessly.
"Haha! If you want to figure out his thoughts, you might as well be a worm in his stomach!" A-Lian laughed heartily. Xiao Qi shot her an annoyed look before turning to walk into the workshop. A-Lian seemed to understand something and let out a long sigh.
Fei Hu slept for an entire day. By dinner time, A-Lian didn't even let Xiao Qi wake him up; he truly could sleep well. He only got up when his stomach started growling in the morning. After satisfying his hunger, he felt much better and practiced some punches in the yard, breaking a light sweat. He felt like a completely different person compared to yesterday.
"Did you sleep well? Are you getting up because you're a bit hungry?" A-Lian asked, wearing her pajamas and leaning against the doorframe with a slight smile that made her look charming.
Fei Hu took a couple of breaths of fresh air before glancing at A-Lian and replied, "I slept well! I’ve been sleeping for an entire day and night; I could rival a pig!" As he spoke, his eyes couldn't help but scan A-Lian. Her tousled hair was pushed back, revealing her round face that resembled a full moon paired with her large eyes and delicate black eyebrows—she looked stunning. Especially in her thin short pajamas that accentuated her beautiful figure; what caught his attention most were her well-proportioned curves that were both high and smooth.
A-Lian read Fei Hu's thoughts from his eyes, but she did not move. Instead, she stood there gracefully. Seeing that a girl was so composed, Fei Hu felt he had even less reason to appear awkward. His gaze no longer wandered but confidently settled on A-Lian's chest.
"Hey! What are you two doing? It's early in the morning, and you're already up. Is something wrong?" Xiao Qi stretched lazily as she squeezed out from the other side of the door. A-Lian felt a bit embarrassed and smiled as she walked away.
Xiao Qi was also in her pajamas. Although her figure was not as full as A-Lian's, she still had curves that could stir one's heart with just a glance. As Xiao Qi approached, she leaned in close to Fei Hu's ear and whispered, "Brother Tiger, you're such a lecher! I'm worried about Sister Lian being alone with you in Hong Kong."
This little girl had quite a mischievous mind. As soon as she finished speaking, fearing that Fei Hu might retaliate, she laughed and ran off.
After changing her clothes, A-Lian brushed her teeth while asking Fei Hu, who was washing his face, "What did Xiao Qi say to you? You both seemed so happy."
"Do you want to know?" Fei Hu replied with a mischievous smile. A-Lian smiled slightly and nodded.
So Fei Hu recounted what Xiao Qi had said, and upon hearing it, A-Lian's face flushed bright red.
With an afternoon flight ahead, they were busy all morning. Since it was A-Lian's first trip to Hong Kong, she was particularly excited. Moreover, women have more things to consider than men—like how many outfits to bring and what kind of makeup to pack. It wasn't until lunchtime that everything was finally sorted out.
At the airport, Xiao Qi, Bald Zhang, and Feng Jie all came to see them off, which touched Fei Hu's heart. It wasn't until they entered the security check that the group reluctantly walked away.
Once on the plane, A-Lian gently closed her eyes and softly asked, "Can I borrow your shoulder?" Fei Hu was taken aback but immediately understood her meaning. Silently, he leaned his shoulder toward her. A-Lian rested against him and revealed a happy smile on her face. She knew that although this happiness was fleeting, she was already content.
"Little Four, did you forget about the task I assigned you? Why haven't you mentioned it lately?" Ye Wu Yi said unhappily while half-lying on the sofa, addressing Little Four who stood before him.
Little Four nudged Abiao beside him with his elbow and whispered, "Brother Tiger's orders are never forgotten by me. However, this guy seems to have vanished from Earth; there's been no trace of him."
"Yes, Brother Tiger. I've also instructed my men to keep an eye out for him, but there really hasn't been any news," Abiao chimed in while rolling his big eyes in agreement with Little Four.
Suddenly, Ye Wu Yi stood up from the sofa and shouted angrily, "Bastards! Are you two trying to fool me? What do you mean there's no trace? Just the day before yesterday at Hilton Hotel, this guy swaggered in and even drank with me like he owned the place! So where do you think he came from? He can't possibly be living on another planet during this time!"
Ye Wu's shout caused Little Four and Abiao to change their expressions. They knew that this Boss was nitpicking and deliberately looking for trouble. In such a large city like A, finding a person was not an easy task unless that person frequented various entertainment venues. Only when they were in their territory could they know that if he didn't come out and stayed in one place, even the police would find it difficult to locate him.
Anyway, since the Boss was scolding them, they didn't dare to interrupt easily. Little Four and Abiao lowered their heads, waiting for Ye Wu to lecture them.
After the excitement subsided, Ye Wu finally said softly, "Sit down! In the future, you need to be more clever and diligent in your work. In our line of work, you must know how to gather more useful information. Do you know that a new hotel has opened in Xili District?"
"Is it the New Joy World opened by Hong Kong Star Zhang Jia?" Little Four quickly leaned forward and asked quietly.
Ye Wu took a drag from his cigarette and blew out a large smoke ring, saying, "That's right! It seems the kid hasn't been sleeping too soundly. Do you know? Just the night before last, this Zhang Jia appeared at a dance hall with Fei Hu. At that time, a hot-headed fan claimed that Fei Hu was Zhang Jia's boy toy, which caused quite a stir in the city. Didn't you hear about this?"
"Brother Tiger, this is true; it's been all over the news outside. However, we didn't know that the boy toy Zhang Jia was raising was actually Fei Hu. If we had known it was him, we would have definitely followed up. But how did Brother Tiger find out about this?" Little Four blinked his eyes, seeming somewhat skeptical about the truth of this matter.
Ye Wu glanced at Little Four and Abiao and sneered, "Do you think I can only rely on you two? How can we survive in A City like this? This information is very important. The scale of New Joy World is not small; it has bars and a large dance floor. Do you think those Hong Kong women wouldn't hire security? It seems you never care about such matters. Sometimes you need to think more; with so many brothers under us, where do our expenses come from?"
"Brother Tiger! We understand now. Tonight I'll take people over to check it out. If there’s no one guarding the place, that would be even better. If there is someone watching over it, we'll create some commotion; after all, this piece of cake will eventually fall into our mouths," Little Four said with a smile; he finally got his chance to show off.
Ye Wu stood up and paced back and forth in the living room. His expression changed as he said, "We must secure this venue. But have you considered that this kid appearing at New Joy World is definitely not just being Zhang Jia's boy toy? What if he is there to watch over things for Zhang Jia? Have you thought about how to handle this?"
"Hey! Isn't that even better? We can kill two birds with one stone; neither the person nor the venue can escape," Abiao chuckled.
Ye Wu glared at him and said, "You're being extremely foolish; I'm glad I reminded you. If Fei Hu represents the old man, do you think you can just act against him? You need to think more critically; don't be so stubborn. Based on his relationship with the old man from the day before yesterday, it's very likely that New Joy World is authorized by him." Upon hearing this, Abiao stuck out his tongue in fear; it seemed he had indeed underestimated this matter.
