"Hey! Fei Hu, Grandpa wants to meet you tonight. We're heading to Deyuan Teahouse on West Market Street soon, so you should hurry and take a cab over!" Yingzi said urgently on the phone.
Fei Hu took a moment to steady his breathing before reluctantly replying, "Alright! I got it." After hanging up, he placed the phone on the table with an unhappy expression.
Sitting across from him, A-Lian's face flushed slightly. She glanced at Fei Hu and lightly laughed, "You look like someone owes you money. What's going on? If you don't want to go, just say so. Why say you're going while looking unhappy? There's no need to make it hard on yourself." As she spoke, A-Lian secretly covered her mouth and giggled.
"Is it funny? I'll remember this debt and settle it with you when I get the chance," Fei Hu whispered to A-Lian before stuffing his phone into his pocket and getting up to walk out.
Ye Wu sat in Ye Wei's home, looking displeased, while Ye Wei had his eyes closed tightly, seemingly in deep thought. The atmosphere in the living room was heavy and awkward.
Suddenly, Ye Wu stood up and said loudly, "Second Brother, what do you mean by this? Just say it plainly. But I need to tell you first that whether you participate in this operation or not, you already know about it. If any word gets out, don't blame Third Brother for not being nice to you. You know the rules of the underworld."
At this point, Ye Wei slowly opened his eyes and calmly replied, "Third Brother, you're pushing your luck here. This could end badly. You know how Grandpa is; the more you push him, the less he pays attention to you. Remember that Dragon Tiger Gang has its leader; when he speaks, few dare to disobey him. Don't end up hurting yourself; if things go wrong, it'll be too late for regrets."

Seeing Ye Wu's audacity from his seat at the head of the table, Ye Wei slammed his hefty hand down on the coffee table with a loud bang, causing a teacup to fall and shatter on the floor. His face flushed red as he stepped in front of Ye Wu and shouted angrily, "Ye Wu, don't get too carried away! If you keep this attitude up, let me warn you: when you go to bed tonight, make sure your doors and windows are locked tight; be careful not to wake up without your head!"
"Hah! With your pathetic demeanor, you'd better stick to being a scheming businessman," Ye Wu retorted angrily before turning away and slamming the front door as he left.
Ye Wu's actions nearly made Ye Wei spit blood from anger. He paced back and forth in the living room while several maids kept their heads down in silence. After walking back and forth more than ten times, Ye Wei suddenly had an epiphany. He let out a long sigh and felt much lighter. He couldn't help but mutter under his breath, "You little brat! Trying to play tricks on me? You're still too green. I'm just a mess that can't be fixed; if you've got what it takes, go handle it yourself."
Tonight, Ye Wu sought out Ye Wei to discuss a plan to pressure Ye Cheng into handing over Brother Long's position to help their elder brother. Ye Wei refused, and Ye Wu, feeling humiliated and angry, tried to provoke Ye Wei, implying that he wanted Ye Wei to act first against Ye Cheng so that he could reap the benefits. However, Ye Wei was even more cunning than he anticipated; after a moment of anger, he saw through Ye Wu's scheme and decided not to fall for it.
West Market Street was unusually quiet that evening. Fei Hu got out of the car and immediately spotted the brightly lit Deyuan Teahouse. This place was indeed a great spot for tea, devoid of the hustle and bustle.
As soon as Fei Hu stepped inside, a young man of similar age greeted him with a smile, saying, "You must be Fei Hu! Please come upstairs; they have already arrived." Fei Hu nodded hurriedly and realized that this young man looked familiar; he was Yingzi's companion who had been transferred to the Western Wholesale Market. Fei Hu suddenly understood something.
Upon reaching the second floor, he heard Ye Cheng's cheerful voice: "Little brother, this way please! We've been waiting for you for quite a while." The elder's voice was joyful and resonant. Fei Hu quickly hurried over to a small room with a half-open door.
The room was not large, featuring a set of root-carved Kung Fu Tea utensils placed in the center. Surrounding the tea set were four single sofas. Ye Cheng and Yingzi were seated across from each other, while an elder of similar age to Ye Cheng was busy brewing tea.
Fei Hu walked over and unceremoniously took a seat in the empty spot, smiling at Ye Cheng as he said, "Sorry, Grandpa, I came from the outskirts, so I was a bit slow. Thank you for waiting."
"Ha ha, no problem! It's good that you’re here. Let me introduce you; this is our senior figure from the Dragon Tiger Gang, Teapot Lid. And this is the Fei Hu I just mentioned," Ye Cheng said with a smile as he introduced Fei Hu to the elder named Teapot Lid.
Fei Hu quickly clasped his hands together and said loudly, "It's an honor to meet you. May I ask how to address you?"
The elder chuckled and replied, "Meeting is fate. When I saw you, I felt like I had met you before. If you don't mind, just call me Grandpa Cheng." As he spoke, he handed the brewed tea to Fei Hu.
Fei Hu hurriedly accepted it and repeatedly thanked him, saying, "Thank you, Grandpa Cheng." The elder waved his hand dismissively, indicating that Fei Hu should not be so polite.
Sitting nearby, Yingzi pouted and said, "Grandpa Cheng is not being fair. Last time I came here and talked so much without telling me what to call you. Now that Fei Hu has just sat down, you want him to call you Grandpa Cheng? Are you looking down on me? Afraid I'll bring trouble to you?" Yingzi acted like a child throwing a playful tantrum.
Grandpa Cheng stroked his beard and laughed heartily: "I apologize for my rudeness; please forgive me, Miss Yingzi. Being young is wonderful! I truly admire both of your skills and how you handle matters. When I heard Little Dart talk about this young brother Fei Hu, I realized he could rival my elder brother’s past bravery—this is truly commendable! If both of you could join our Dragon Tiger Gang at the same time, it would be an incredible blessing!"
Yingzi clasped his fists and smiled, saying, "Whether I join or not doesn't matter. Although my status isn't within the gang, what we're doing right now is essentially gang business. Besides, I have served in the military and joined the party; there are regulations regarding this, so I can only appear as Grandpa's bodyguard."
"Oh! So there's this layer to it. Could it be that this young brother Fei Hu has also joined the party?" Grandpa Cheng said with a smile.
Fei Hu chuckled and replied, "No, I'm someone who values freedom and doesn't want to be bound by rules.
