"Hey! I say, kid, don't eat from the bowl while looking at the pot. My junior sister here has been a police officer for two years, and she's still very innocent. If you dare to touch her, don't blame me for being rude. Even though you're not in City A right now, all your activities are under my control. And watch out for Yingzi; she might cause you trouble," Ni Ling said, patting Fei Hu on the shoulder.
An Min pouted and said unhappily, "Sister Ni, what are you talking about? You make me sound like an idiot. Is it your fault that I can't get married? If I can't find someone, I'll just come to you. You'll have to take responsibility for me in the second half of my life."
"You little brat, really useless! Are you implying that you actually want to be with him?" Ni Ling laughed heartily. An Min couldn't sit still anymore and jumped over to playfully wrestle with Ni Ling. Fei Hu watched the two women having fun together and found it extremely amusing.
Suddenly, the door of the restaurant was pushed open violently, and more than ten oddly dressed men walked in. As soon as they entered, they locked the door from the inside. Ni Ling and An Min, who were just playing around, immediately stopped and stood up when they sensed something was wrong.
Fei Hu was also taken aback. When he saw who was leading the group—Shrimp Ball—everything became clear to him. An Min raised her eyebrows and asked sternly, "What do you want? Don't you know we're eating in here?"
"We know you're eating. What do you think? That you're sleeping? One man and two women—looks like a double date!" Shrimp Ball said with a smirk, causing laughter among his followers.
An Min's skin was already fair, and Shrimp Ball's words made her face turn bright red. Fei Hu was furious; he stood up abruptly and coldly asked, "Are you looking for me? If you have something to say, just say it. If you want to make a scene, take it outside."
"Haha! You've got guts, sitting here eating after hitting my guy. Tell me what your relationship is with those idiots at the police station. Are you giving them money or are you one of their godsons?" Shrimp Ball said as he slowly approached, clearly feeling confident tonight. Fei Hu glanced back and noticed that the more than ten men behind him were hiding something in their sleeves; it seemed they were well-prepared.
Smart An Min stepped in front of Fei Hu and said sternly, "Don't act recklessly! This restaurant has cameras installed; if anything happens, none of you will escape—especially those hiding weapons will face even harsher penalties. If you're looking to break the law, go ahead and try! Don't think that just because there are more than ten of you that you'll definitely win against us." An Min picked up a chair; despite her slender appearance, she showed that she had some skills.
Seeing An Min like this made Shrimp Ball feel a bit intimidated; his facial muscles twitched as he said, "Oh! I didn't expect a girl like you to have some skills too; I thought you'd only be good at bed tricks! No need to rush into action; we're civilized people here. I'm just here to talk to this kid; this doesn't concern you." It was clear that Shrimp Ball didn't know An Min's true identity.
Standing behind An Min, Ni Ling remained silent, but Fei Hu could tell she was ready for a fight. He gently pulled An Min back and casually asked, "Who are you? What do we have to talk about? I have nothing to discuss with scum like you." Fei Hu showed no courtesy; he despised people like this the most.
"Is that so? You hurt my brother, and you think it will just end like this? You have to give some compensation, and we can let this matter go. If not, I'm sorry, but we didn't come here to take your beating; we came specifically to beat you. To be honest, the guys behind me are all fighters by trade. They won't retract their weapons until they see blood, so think carefully about how you want to handle this," Shrimp Ball said, his lewd little eyes glancing at An Min and Ni Ling.
Fei Hu was about to speak when Ni Ling stepped forward. She coldly said, "What you're doing is extortion, and it's punishable by jail time. I advise you to leave. Let's pretend this never happened. If you want to fight, let's find a proper place; we can't really unleash our skills here!" As she spoke, Ni Ling rolled up her shirt sleeves, revealing her strong arms.
"Hahaha! Beautiful lady! If you weren't standing next to this kid tonight, I would definitely make you my friend because you're too cute. Do you think I'm a fool? Let me tell you, we've got people waiting outside. Even if there's some commotion, no one can get in. So I advise you not to harbor any delusions—just take the money and leave. Otherwise, my buddies might just take both of you lovely ladies along with us. Hehe! Don't blame us for being rough," Shrimp Ball said, completely unaware of the danger he was in as he spoke such words in front of Ni Ling.
Suddenly, Ni Ling made a phone gesture to An Min with her hand on her backside and then stepped forward swiftly, landing a punch squarely on Shrimp Ball's mouth. He had been laughing smugly when he was unexpectedly hit by Ni Ling's punch, causing stars to dance before his eyes as he took a moment to regain his senses.
"Wow! You filthy woman! You're so beautiful and can hit hard too. Brothers, don't hold back; let's all go for it! This woman is mine!" Shrimp Ball wiped the blood from his mouth and charged forward first.
Fei Hu smirked; it seemed this guy wouldn't need to pretend tonight. He couldn't help but glance at Ni Ling and wondered where An Min had gone. Just as Fei Hu was lost in thought, the few guys behind Shrimp Ball shook their arms and pulled out gleaming machetes that looked quite intimidating.
"Get in there! Don't let that little lady hide under the table calling for help!" Shrimp Ball shouted as he lunged toward Ni Ling. Before he could make a move, Ni Ling lifted her leg and kicked Shrimp Ball away.
Seeing that An Min was hiding under the table and had already started calling the police, Fei Hu felt emboldened. He grabbed a chair next to him and smashed it down on the two guys charging at him. Although they were armed with machetes, they found themselves unable to use them effectively in front of a chair. Fei Hu wielded the chair with great strength, swinging it around with such force that he pushed back the dozen or so men brought by Shrimp Ball toward the door, crowding them together so they couldn't retaliate.
Seeing this, Ni Ling mimicked Fei Hu's actions and grabbed a chair nearby, smashing it down relentlessly. The sound of strikes echoed throughout the room. After finishing her call, An Min saw that Fei Hu and Ni Ling were holding their ground in front; there was no place left for her to hide. In a moment of desperation, the young girl grabbed bowls and plates from the table and hurled them at the heads of those men.
An Min's attack was fierce; those men were caught off guard and lost their ability to defend themselves as they jostled around in chaos. "You all get in there! Use your knives; don't be afraid! I'll take responsibility if anything happens!" Shrimp Ball shouted in frustration.
Just as Shrimp Ball poked his head out again, a plate thrown by An Min flew straight toward him. He ducked just in time as the plate smashed against the door frame, shattering into pieces and splattering water and oil all over everyone nearby.
Perhaps feeling cornered by Fei Hu and Ni Ling's pressure, one or two reckless individuals charged forward with their heads down. Just as Fei Hu was about to take decisive action, Ni Ling shouted loudly; with a loud crack, she brought her chair crashing down on one guy's shoulder with considerable force. There was a muffled grunt as he collapsed to the ground.
A few more people wanted to follow suit, but they quickly shrank back. Although there were many of them, they no longer dared to rush forward. Shrimp Ball squeezed through the crowd and shouted loudly, "Brothers, you train soldiers for a thousand days to use them in one moment. Today, I want you all to fight for me. When we go back, I'll reward each of you with a thousand yuan." This shout was indeed effective, and more than ten people surged forward.
Despite Fei Hu and Ni Ling being ruthless with their subordinates, there were too many people rushing in. Their knives were not idle either, but the limited space in the room quickly put Ni Ling and Fei Hu at a disadvantage. As the situation worsened, An Min shouted loudly from behind, charging forward with the only chair she had. She was so brave that she forced those who rushed in to retreat.
"Cornered Dog Jumps Over the Wall" was indeed true; among that group, one guy threw his machete out. An Min couldn't dodge in time, and the machete grazed her snow-white arm, causing blood to gush out immediately.
Seeing this, Fei Hu shouted angrily and threw his chair as well. With a scream, the restaurant door was burst open from the outside, and five or six police officers armed with handguns appeared at the entrance. They shouted loudly, "Don't move! Raise your hands! Everyone get down! Quickly!"
After the fierce battle, this was the most bloodshed Fei Hu had seen since he started fighting. Shrimp Ball and his subordinates had at least half of them injured, all of them bleeding profusely and cursing. The room was in complete chaos.
The police quickly cleared the scene. Unexpectedly, Shrimp Ball was carried away; it turned out that the chair Fei Hu had thrown hit Shrimp Ball right on the head, and he certainly felt that one.
Ni Ling and An Min showed their officer badges. The police asked about the situation briefly, took notes, and then left. Watching the police leave, Fei Hu shook his head and said, "If it weren't for you two being here tonight, I would have spent the night at the police station."
"I'm really sorry; what was supposed to be a pleasant meal got ruined by these flies," Fang Min said with a pout.
Ni Ling patted Fang Min on the head and said, "Silly girl, we can eat anytime. Let's hurry up and treat your wounds!"
Fang Min nodded, and the three of them walked out of the restaurant together.
They hailed a rental car, and Ni Ling insisted that Fei Hu go back first. Seeing her determined look, Fei Hu didn't insist any further; he got into the car after greeting An Min and headed straight for his hotel.
