Ye Wu was taken aback for a moment but quickly understood that it might be his aunt's people arriving. Thinking of this made him somewhat excited. He called Little Four and instructed him and Abiao to come to his house immediately.
Even a starving camel is bigger than a horse; before nine o'clock, Ye Wu arrived at Xuan Yuan Tea House on Youth South Road in a black BMW with Little Four and Abiao accompanying him. Abiao stayed in the car while Little Four followed Ye Wu upstairs. Everything proceeded in an orderly manner and went very smoothly.
Ye Wu pushed open the door to Azure Cloud Pavilion and gently closed it behind him. Turning around, he noticed a man sitting by the window. The man appeared to be around forty years old; he was small in stature but had fair skin. He wore a top hat that obscured much of his face and was dressed in a checkered shirt and black suspenders shorts, clearly not a local.
Ye Wu approached and quietly sat down across from him. The man rotated his teacup without moving his head or changing his posture. He softly said, "The snake has emerged from its hole."
"Reel it in," Ye Wu immediately replied.
Only then did the man slightly lift his head and extend his hand toward Ye Wu, saying, "Mu Yi, nice to meet you."
The man's hands were small and soft; if it weren't for the dark beard at the corner of his mouth, Ye Wu would have thought he was a woman. Ye Wu introduced himself, and they chatted casually for a moment. The man stood up and said, "You stay here for a while longer. Get up after I leave. Wait for my call tomorrow night; the deal will be finalized then."
After the man left, Ye Wu savored the fragrant tea, his heart racing with excitement. Finally, the day had come; he would soon have money. With that money, the first thing he would do is reclaim the territory he had lost over the past few days. He wanted to let the old man know that he, Ye Wu, would not be overshadowed by the Dragon Tiger Gang's leader; he could be just as formidable. Thinking of this made Ye Wu smile to himself.
In a villa in Ye Cheng Suburb, Fei Hu, Yingzi, Brother Dong, and Teapot Lid were gathered around Ye Cheng, discussing a series of recent encouraging events. Brother Dong chuckled, "The new leader is impressive. In just a week, we've almost regained all the territory we lost. Ye Wu is practically defeated; he's now only holding onto the docks and East Street with no strength to fight back."
"I find it strange too. Our strength is not even close to Ye Wu's; how did we manage this? Is Fei Hu really able to take on hundreds or even thousands alone?" Ye Cheng smiled, clearly pleased with Fei Hu's performance.
Brother Dong glanced at Fei Hu and continued, "Teapot Senior's return has strengthened our power. He has over two hundred brothers under him, and with our leader's connections in the underworld, we have no fewer than two hundred more allies. Just a few days ago, both forces were mobilized together; we had over a thousand people combined. If Ye Wu doesn't fall now, it would truly be a mystery." Brother Dong laughed again in delight.
