The next morning, my seniors were already waiting for me outside the lounge. True to Dream City, this place was far superior to any five Star-Rated hotel in the human world; it was simply luxurious. I quickly ran over because these two were not easy to deal with, and it was terrifying to keep them waiting. I cautiously said, "Sorry, I'm late." 0

"It's fine. Just getting used to it. Let's go," Silver Moon said before turning and walking away. 0

"Sorry, Senior Ghost," I said to the Wild Ghost beside me. 0

He merely glanced at me, nodded, and then ignored me. Sigh, when will this training end? 0

After walking for a while, I followed the two of them as they stopped again. To my surprise, there stood a massive palace with ' Crystal Palace ' written on it. The entire palace sparkled and had five floors; could it be made entirely of crystal? While I was still in a daze, Silver Moon spoke up: "This is the Illusion Realm. Although we came together, we can't help you. Both the Wild Ghost and I are on the third floor; you have to start from the first floor. Once you enter, there will be prompts for you." 0

Upon entering, a charming female demon approached us; she appeared to be a Fox Demon, with her fluffy tail and ears exposed. She politely stepped forward and said, "Welcome to the three of you. Please follow me, new Student." I gestured to the two of them and walked away. 0

"This is the first floor of the Illusion Realm. Once you enter here, challenges will appear based on your situation. If death occurs, please do not be afraid; you will automatically return to outside the Crystal Palace. After each challenge, there will be a rest period to recover your Soul Energy. Once you successfully pass through, a Ghost Servant will receive you. Good luck!" 0

I entered as she indicated, and darkness enveloped me; there was not a sound at all. To be honest, I was really scared right now. As the voice announced "First Level Start," everything around me began to clarify. 0

I found myself in a subway in the human world, crowded with people and noisy. Everything seemed normal until suddenly the man standing next to me transformed; his face became grotesque as he bared his fangs and began attacking humans. With one bite, he could snap a neck. The crowd screamed and ran wildly while I stood frozen in place, unable to move. More and more monsters appeared; only a few living people remained. At that moment, a little girl ran over and grabbed my clothes, pleading, "Sister, save me." 0

I fought against my trembling and the cold sensation while breathing heavily; I could even hear my heart pounding violently. I was stuck there as only the little girl and I remained in the entire carriage; all the monsters began approaching us with blood everywhere—the smell made me nauseous. The little girl pressed tightly against me, her big eyes filled with fear. As they drew closer, I forced my internal Soul Energy into motion as if breaking through something; a blinding orange light enveloped my body. " First Level, Wings of Wind." The sound of the Bone Flute was terrifyingly deep as the nearest monsters instantly vanished while those behind began charging at us with horrifying roars. The pressure mounted rapidly as Pure Sound circulated quickly until all the monsters were obliterated. I took deep breaths and leaned against the handrail to sit down. The little girl sat down too and smiled at me saying, "Thank you, sister; however, aren't you being too naive?" 0

I felt uneasy immediately but it was too late; she tightened her grip around my neck with her fangs poised to pierce my throat. Was this just the beginning of the first level? Were you really that fragile, Xi Meng? Did someone always have to save you? I kept telling myself to hold on and get out of here. Even if you choked me, I would shake you off. Just then a pink light appeared—it was Little Pink! Its green eyes shot out a beam of green light towards the little girl, and in an instant, she shattered into pieces. 0

"Congratulations on passing, please take a moment to rest." I let out a heavy sigh and simply lay down. This was the first time I had no one to help me; it turned out to be so difficult. It seems I am still too weak. Little Pink also floated down and obediently landed on my lap. 0

"Master, I'm really impressive, right?" 0

My goodness, I was startled. Wasn't it said that beasts could only communicate with their masters after reaching level three? This Little One didn't seem to be even level one. It's easy to tell the level of a beast; there are seven levels in total, and each beast has a gem called the Life Stone on its forehead. It's as crucial as an inner core; if the inner core is equivalent to the Heart, then the Life Stone is like the brain, allowing communication with the master. 0

The form of the Life Stone is beautiful. The symbols for levels one, two, and three are star-shaped, while levels four, five, and six are moon-shaped. The highest level, reaching perfection at the Seventh Level, appears as a dazzling golden circle resembling the sun. At this point, a beast is terrifying and not inferior to a Supreme Lord. 0

But Little Pink had nothing because it was still less than a month old. Although the strength of beasts isn't determined by age but rather by species, it shouldn't evolve this quickly, especially in terms of attack power. 0

"Master, I know what you're thinking; we are currently connected mentally." 0

"Then could you explain it to me?" 0

"Alright. I am a mutated Phoenix Butterfly, a top-tier insect beast. Even among all beasts, I am considered strong. Although I am still in my juvenile form now, I will become very beautiful in the future. One day, I caught a whiff of a large group of Soul-Eating Ants and stealthily crawled out. To become stronger quickly, the fastest way is to consume other beasts' inner cores. Normally, opportunities for large groups of low-level beasts to gather are rare, so I didn't hesitate to head to the outskirts of Beast Forest. Unexpectedly, I hadn't gone far before that damned Snow Leopard set its sights on me. Although I am small, I was a rare find for it; later on... well, I ended up in your hands." Little Pink said this while frowning, clearly reluctant about it. I hadn't even wanted it yet; I only believed half of what it said—was it really that powerful? 0

"Because I am mutated, I was born with intelligence and can communicate with you from level zero; how about that? Pretty strong, right?" It began to show off again, changing expressions quite quickly. 0

"You sneaked out; your parents must be very angry," I thought it must have told its mother by now. 0

"Who cares about them? You have powerful energy within you; I want to stay close to you so that I can become stronger in the future." Little Pink looked at me seriously. In this world’s rules, once a beast recognizes its master, that bond lasts for life unless the master dies; otherwise, the beast would perish too. As long as the master doesn't die, no matter how severe the beast's injuries are, it won't die. 0

What Little Pink referred to as power must be Pure Sound; no wonder they insisted on giving it to me. Is the power of the divine realm really this great? 0

"No matter what, you and I are now connected as one. I will protect you, and let's work together to become stronger, Little Pink!" Having a mutated zero-level magical beast is indeed not easy. Mutation equals strength, and it is rare to intentionally capture a mutated magical beast's young. This is because its parents must be at least level 5 or higher. Even a Magic Saint would need to exert some effort, and if it were a level 7 magical beast, only a Supreme Lord could contend with it, depending on whether their attributes are compatible. Magical beasts are inherently proud; unless they submit to you internally, they cannot be forcibly tamed. Therefore, it's like raising a pet—the younger you raise it, the closer and more in sync it becomes with you. It seems that being able to tame Little Pink is undoubtedly a tremendous advantage. 0

Little Pink nodded, appearing quite happy. I glanced at it and then closed my eyes to sit on the ground and begin recovering my Soul Energy. 0
