"Miss, we should set off," Sha said from by the window.
I looked over in confusion; Sha never says unnecessary things. Why would he remind me of this today?
I noticed Shishi and Terror Mask looking serious, their eyes fixed on Sha—not on him but outside the window.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Miss, project your soul and take a look."
I was taken aback. What was happening? This physical body couldn't see...
Could it be—
I suddenly lay back down on the bed!
"What! What is this?!" My soul leaped down and stood before the window as Great Terror.
Perhaps even during a night of a hundred demons there has never been such a scene. On the southern side of the moon, countless monsters flew closely together in droves, rushing out one after another, dissipating into the distant horizon.
"Someone must be up to no good!" Shì said.
"This amount must have alarmed the Three Realms; there's no way they haven't taken action!" The Divine Realm stands by idly?! What has happened in the Underworld?!
"That entrance must have been breached, allowing so many demons to escape!" Shì continued.
"We can't worry about that now; if they all remain in the Human Realm, it would be disastrous!"

"Where is this?"
"Up ahead is the Three Realms Forbidden Land—Purgatory," Sha replied.
Purgatory?! The lowest level of hell, how could so many spirits emerge from there?!
"There are two types of beings in Purgatory. The first are the wicked ones, whose sins are so great that they can never be reborn and must descend into hell to endure endless suffering and torment. "Be careful, Sha. We'll wait for your return." I hurriedly called out, watching as Sha's figure disappeared, unsure if he heard me.
"Miss, don't worry. Sha's abilities are far beyond what you've seen," Shi tried to soothe my emotions, but he was also trying to convince himself to stay calm.
I knew that those who came out of Purgatory were not weak; it was just that what kind of past could lead someone to abandon everything and take the risk of not being reborn by entering Purgatory for cultivation?
"What kind of person would willingly enter Purgatory?" I sighed.
"This is a gamble. For someone like Sha, who has no family background, no extraordinary talent, and no hope for the future, but is burdened with deep pain and hatred, Purgatory is the best place he can choose after deciding to end his life."
