Since the day the Purifying Soul Stone caused quite a stir, Stone Stump and I have been quietly sitting in a corner, each in meditation, waiting for Fighting Spirit to begin.
"Xi Meng." Stone Stump poked me with his right hand.
"What is it?"
I opened my eyes and noticed that Stone Stump looked very pale, as if he was in great pain.
"I feel like my body is about to explode!" Before Stone Stump could finish, he collapsed on the ground, rolling back and forth in agony.
"What’s happening?!" I exclaimed, feeling helpless!
"It's the stones here suddenly shaking, and the energy has affected my Soul Energy!"
"Why didn’t I feel anything? Wasn’t everything fine just a moment ago?"
"It seems like something has appeared. Hurry, we must find it; otherwise, my body will explode!" Stone Stump groaned increasingly in pain.
"I'm going now. Tell me which direction to go," I said as I picked up Stone Stump.
"Just keep going straight and turn right ahead."
I glanced around at the stone walls but still felt no fluctuations; everything was calm, not even a hint of change.
Following the path that Stone Stump indicated, I hurried along, but the further I went, the stranger it became, causing me to slow down.
Although Stone Stump and I had been in a corner before, we could still see a few people. However, as I walked further in this direction, there were fewer and fewer people until I could hardly see anyone at all!
"Why is there no one here?" I asked.
"It might be that we can't sense the fluctuations of the Purifying Soul Stone here; the atmosphere is a bit strange."
"It is indeed odd; it's too quiet, with no energy fluctuations at all."
I heightened my vigilance and activated my defenses. This place felt suffocating, as if I had stepped into another space, completely different from the previous environment.

I halted in my tracks. We had reached a dead end with no intersections, and the wall on the right that Stone Stump mentioned did seem different. It protruded more than the other walls. No one would pay close attention here, but upon closer inspection, the bulges were clearly not natural; they were formed by some kind of energy.
Then it must be as Stone Stump said—there's something unusual behind the stone wall.
"Set up a barrier so no one notices," Stone Stump said, leaning against the side in pain.
Confirming that there was no one around, I swiftly set up the barrier and struck the stone wall. "Rift Sky Seal, break for me—!"
"Why is there no reaction?!" I asked.
The stone wall remained motionless, not even a speck of dust fell!
"It seems your attacks are ineffective against these stones."
"Yeah, it looks like they’ve been completely absorbed."
"I'll give it a try—"
"Can you do it like this?!"
"Yeah." Stone Stump nodded and gestured for me to step back a bit.
I retreated five meters, ready to strike at any moment.
“King of Ten Thousand Stones, forge my true form, manifest—!” Stone Stump shouted, his body suddenly swelling, revealing clearly defined muscles that bulged like stones.
“Roar—” He let out a long howl, and what came into view was a majestic five-meter tall Stone Lion! Its entire body was snow-white and shiny, even somewhat transparent, with fierce Sharp Teeth visible outside its mouth. The muscular lines of its body were sculpted perfectly, and a red bell hung around its neck, while its thick, elegantly curved tail swayed slowly from side to side.
This was Stone Stump's true form! So cool!
“Stone Lion Roar, Thunder Strike—”
Wow, how powerful!
This thunder strike was definitely not something achieved through ordinary training; I was certain it even contained genuine thunder techniques, harnessing the power of heavenly lightning!
Sure enough, the stone wall began to crack, and with a loud bang, it shattered into pieces!
Stone Stump shielded me behind him. Although I wasn't affected by the shockwave, it seemed Stone Stump couldn't hold on much longer!

“Stone Stump, wake up!” I slapped his face, but he still kept his eyes tightly shut.

I carefully picked up Stone Stump and Swiftly entered a black hole in the stone wall.
“Hang in there a little longer; we’ll be there soon!”
Suddenly, I felt a drop of something cold slide across the back of my neck. Without thinking much, I continued to reach out toward the cave entrance.

As I passed through a narrow passage, a bright light suddenly appeared before me, almost blinding me!
"So many Purifying Soul Stones!"
My eyes were filled with Purifying Soul Stones glowing with green light, each one several times larger than the one I had consumed!
Not only were there Purifying Soul Stones, but there were also a bunch of stones I couldn't recognize, each shining brightly!
I set down Stone Stump and casually picked up a few Purifying Soul Stones to stuff into Stone Stump's mouth. After prying open his mouth, the Purifying Soul Stones slowly entered his body.

"Wait for me, I'll be quick!" I stood up and headed in that direction!
Piles of Purifying Soul Stones and other equally precious stones were present; if discovered by others, the entire Demon Realm would likely be torn apart in the scramble for them.
Having so many might not necessarily be a good thing.
Out of the corner of my eye, those stones grew increasingly distant.
Yet I still hadn't found anything particularly unusual. What exactly was it that Stone Stump had mentioned?
I found it!
Not far ahead was a Wooden Box. Just as I was relieved to have found it, I noticed that the box was open and completely empty inside!
Moreover, I could sense that a barrier had once been set up here, but it seemed to have been broken by something.
Could it be that someone got here before us and took whatever was inside?
However, I quickly dismissed this thought. It was impossible; the stone wall had been intact before, and Stone Stump had just broken it. There were no other passages here, not even a mouse hole—no one could have entered.
At that moment, I felt something moving behind me!
I turned around abruptly but found nothing!
After turning my head for a moment, I noticed some movement behind me again. When I looked back, I still couldn't see anything.
Is this playing hide and seek with me?

I quietly summoned Snow, and just as that little thing behind me moved again, I suddenly turned around and shouted, "Snow, Snow Dance—freeze it!"
Sure enough, a stone about the size of a fist was frozen mid-air, approximately one meter above the ground. It seemed to be trying to reach the nearby stone wall quickly.
I approached the stone; it was entirely white with a thin layer of golden light shimmering around it. It even had a face, its expression frozen at that moment.
Sticking out its tongue as if mocking me, it looked quite annoying.
I squatted down and stared at the stone without moving. It maintained that expression for a long time.
Snow, perched on my shoulder, seemed quite interested in the stone. It flew onto the stone, bouncing around and making sounds I couldn't understand while humming to itself for quite a while.
"Snow, unfreeze it. I want to talk to it."
Snow nodded and flew down from the stone.
As soon as the stone realized it was unfrozen, it took off running. Luckily, I was prepared and grabbed it tightly in my hand, revealing its little face.
"Hey, can you talk?" I asked.
The stone mumbled a few words, but I completely didn't understand.
Just when I was at a loss, Snow started mumbling and communicating with the stone as well.
"Snow, do you know what it says?!" I asked in surprise.
Snow nodded.
"What does it say?"
"It says please let it go, it knows nothing." Snow's voice was icy, with a hint of childishness.
"Did you ask it why it ran out of that Wooden Box?" I said to Snow.
"It said its Water's Nemesis has come, and if it doesn't leave, it will be discovered and die."
"What Water's Nemesis?"
"It should also be a stone, and that stone has found its location. If it doesn't leave soon, it will be swallowed." Snow analyzed.
"What kind of stone are you that can cause such a big disturbance, almost blowing up my friend's body?"
The stone looked shifty, glancing left and right.
"Don't think about escaping; if you go out like this, who knows how you'll die? Here, there's a barrier protecting you, but outside it's dangerous." I snorted coldly.
The stone sighed humanely and drooped its eyes.
"Now come with me to see my friend. If I can't save him, I'll throw you into a crowd."
I stood up and returned to the Stone Stump, with Snow on my shoulder keeping an eye on the stone.
"What's going on with him?" I asked.
Stone furrowed his brow, inhaled, exhaled, and furrowed his brow again, muttering to himself for a while.
"Spit it out if you have something to say; if not, just throw it away!"
Stone immediately began to shout, and once he started, he couldn't stop!
"Shut up, one at a time!" I shouted.
Stone fell silent at once, pouting in grievance.
"What did he say?" I asked Snow.
"He said your friend can't be saved; his body is about to shatter completely."
"Impossible!" I shouted.
Looking at Stone Stump's grayish body, I still felt a bit anxious inside.
Just as I was about to reach out and hit Stone Stump, Snow said, "Don't touch him; if you do, he will immediately dissipate."
I quickly withdrew my hand, trembling uncontrollably.
"Can you save him?" I asked Stone.
"He said your friend's true form is too weak. The energy generated from the friction between him and that Water's Nemesis, while not threatening to other creatures, poses a great danger to Stone. Each stone in the Lost City of Lothar is far older and more powerful than your friend. Although your friend was lucky to have become the Stone Demon King due to a fortunate opportunity, the Stone Demon King is merely a creature and cannot be compared to these stones."
