After he finished speaking, before Liu You'er could respond, he turned and left.
Liu You'er watched Lu Feng walk away, her killing intent dissipating as she sighed helplessly.

She stretched lazily and washed herself with well water. Changing into clean clothes, she exited the space. Being cautious of the Little Zombie, she decided to return to the base first. Although A City Base was not large, it had previously been a prison. After being cleared out, all the weapons inside were retained. With some modifications made, its defensive power was strong enough that even if a Zombie reached Third Level, it would likely perish if it tried to force its way into the base.
Liu You'er felt she should stay at the base for a while longer. After checking her surroundings and confirming there was no one around, two cigarettes appeared in her hand. Although cigarettes were common before the apocalypse, they had become a luxury item in this new world; after all, few people would think of grabbing such trivial things while fighting over food.
Thus, every time they were produced, even at high prices, they would be snatched up immediately.
As she approached the base entrance, night had fallen. She felt no guilt as she said an apologetic word to that rooster. Just as she prepared to use her old trick to pass through the inspection, unexpectedly, the aggressive soldier from last time stopped her and said, "No need. You can go through."

Liu You'er glanced regretfully at the trembling rooster in her space with her mind and then looked curiously at the soldier before stepping into the base.
Upon entering, she saw a Survivor knocked unconscious on the ground with a group of elderly people and children surrounding him and fighting over his belongings. Unfazed by their actions, she walked straight toward the C Zone gate without pausing for even a second to look at their frenzied expressions and greedy looks.
Entering the C Zone currency exchange center, she discovered that this pack of cigarettes worth 10 yuan before the apocalypse could be exchanged for 100 coins now. She exchanged for five packs initially and kept the rest for Yue Xingze so he could exchange them in B Zone; perhaps he could get even more in return.
Because Liu You'er was walking alone at night with a large sum of money, and the C Zone was dimly lit, with some alleys completely dark, it was normal for her to attract some flies.
She stopped halfway and soon three slightly plump men with lewd expressions appeared in front of her.

After bowing for a while without any response, they cautiously raised their heads only to find that there was no one in front of them! They hurriedly checked on the unconscious man and discovered he was lying on the ground foaming at the mouth and convulsing…
Liu You'er entered the apartment and thought she heard a cry for help. Listening closely, she realized there was nothing there. Frowning slightly, she stopped in front of a door on the first floor to check it out. However, just then, a noise came from upstairs, so she hurriedly went up without lingering.
