Liu You'er suddenly appeared on the fifth floor, hurriedly opening her front door. At the same time, a White Lightning coiled around her hand, flickering with a dangerous glow. 0

She scanned the room warily, finding everything normal, yet she still couldn't relax. Gently, she kicked open the bathroom door and immediately jumped back, peeking inside to find it empty as well. 0

Furrowing her brow, she felt an unsettling sensation despite the small room being clearly visible. 0

After checking the room again, she noticed that Wang Yan's business card was propped up against the vase on the dining table, even though she had thrown it away earlier. 0

She walked over slowly and picked up the card. It seemed normal at first glance, but when she flipped it over, she found a flowing cursive message on the back: "Be careful, don't die too quickly~" 0

"Boring!" 0

Liu You'er lowered her guard, thinking that it was that pretentious dog sneaking in again! She glared at the card and cursed, "Even if you die, I won't die! You despicable person!!!" 0

"Poof~" 0

Just after she finished cursing, a tearing sound echoed in Liu You'er's ears. She froze and looked down to see a bloody little fist piercing through her abdomen. 0

At that moment, a man sitting lazily in front of the computer screen had a sharp glint in his eyes that he couldn't hide. Seeing this scene, a smile crept onto his lips as he spoke into the small microphone pinned to his collar: "Quan Quan, put something inside her wound without being discovered." 0

"Shh" 0

The little fist slowly retracted and paused for a second inside Liu You'er before suddenly pulling out, causing her to collapse onto the table. 0

Liu You'er’s mind was completely blank; she couldn't comprehend how this Little Zombie had infiltrated the base or how it knew where she lived. Moreover, everything had seemed normal at the base just moments ago, indicating that it hadn't been attacked at all—there wasn't even an extra patrol soldier. This meant that this little creature had resisted so many temptations of "food" just to come for her?! 0

Huh, what an inflated sense of self-importance! Liu You'er felt like crying. She turned to the Little Zombie that was licking her blood and innocently blinking at her and shouted, "Can you be reasonable?! Do you have a grudge against me? Even if I accidentally entered your territory, I didn't gain anything! Is it because you have less rice? Do you eat rice? Even if there's less rice, you shouldn't come after me! I haven't seen any at all!" 0

The Little Zombie looked at Liu You'er who was angrily pointing at it and tilted its head with a look of "What are you saying? I don't understand," instantly dousing Liu You'er's anger. She felt like she must be out of her mind for yelling at a five or six-year-old Zombie while having a hole in her stomach… 0

Calming her emotions and preparing to teleport away, she suddenly heard the laughter of a man and a woman outside. Looking at the bloodthirsty gaze of the Little Zombie towards the door, she remembered that she was in a base with nearly one hundred thousand people, not outside. If she escaped, then those people... 0

"Hey! Little brat!" 0

Hearing the voice, the Little Zombie froze for a moment and curiously looked at Liu You'er, successfully redirecting its attention. 0

Liu You'er felt a chill run down her spine as the Little Zombie's piercing eyes stared directly at her. The energy she had painstakingly regained was now steadily draining away with the blood trickling from her abdomen. She needed to act quickly; given the current situation, it was absolutely impossible for her to defeat it. So, was there another way? 0

This Little Zombie seemed to retain some semblance of intelligence. What if she... 0

Seeing the Little Zombie's evident impatience and tightly furrowed brows, Liu You'er swallowed hard and decided to try to divert its attention. She softly asked, "Can you understand what I'm saying?" 0

The Little Zombie tilted its head and looked at her for a while before nodding, effectively answering her question. 0

Liu You'er felt a surge of joy and cleared her throat to ask, "Why have you been chasing me? Is there something about me?" 0

The Little Zombie looked at Liu You'er innocently, biting its nails as if it were a cute child pondering a question—of course, that was without hearing the sharp sound of its teeth grinding against each other. 0

Seeing that it seemed unguarded, Liu You'er summoned electricity in her hand, ready to launch a sneak attack. However, unexpectedly, the little creature suddenly looked up with excitement and exclaimed, "Brother... Brother... Brother!" 0

"Huh? Am I still your brother? Singing like a goose?" 0

Liu You'er couldn't help but blurt out, finding it somewhat amusing to see the bewildered expression on the Little Zombie's face. 0

"Alright! I must be an idiot." 0

Liu You'er truly felt that something was off with her mind tonight; she might be the first person who got seriously injured yet felt indifferent about it... like a Zombie. It was all because Zombies had little sense of pain, and their enemies were too deceptive. But how strange; why wasn't this little creature attacking her? 0

"Wait, why are you climbing into my bed?" 0

"Hey! Let's talk, why are you tearing my blanket!" 0

"Wait, why should I care about the blanket? If we don't run now, when will we?" 0

"Oh right, I can't leave, there are still so many people at the base!" 0

Liu You'er didn't know why. Her mind felt like a mess, and she was increasingly weak, collapsing on the ground and losing her ability to move. Suddenly, she thought of something, looked up at the clock, and saw it was almost two o'clock. But Yue Xingze still hadn't returned, which made her a bit worried. She leaned against the door frame and tried to get up to find him, but halfway up, she fell back down. 0

Her eyelids grew heavier. She watched as Little Zombie stopped pulling her blanket and instead came in front of her, staring at her face without any intention of attacking. After a while, Little Zombie didn't harm her but instead bounced away. 0

It was then that Liu You'er noticed that this Little Zombie had worn earrings last time too; it was just a different pair this time. 0

"Why did it change?" 0

Unfortunately, she had completely lost her ability to think. 0

After a while, she heard the door being opened. Then it seemed like she was being lifted and placed somewhere. Struggling to open her eyes, she vaguely saw a disheveled man looking at her with a hint of conquest and strange excitement in his eyes. 0

At that moment, Little Zombie was obediently held in this man's arms, playing with his collar and looking quite happy. Upon closer inspection, she realized they had almost identical features; one was just a larger version while the other was a miniature. 0

Then Liu You'er could no longer hold on and closed her eyes... 0
