A strong stench emanated from the wide mouths of the five Zombies, forcing her to cover her nose and take two steps back, immediately revealing her Zombie form. Her first command was to tell them to shut up!
The five Zombies had already entered the room and, upon seeing Liu You'er, displayed expressions of disappointment and fear, looking as pitiful as could be.
Just imagine, they originally thought there would be meat to eat, but instead encountered a High-Level Zombie that might consider them as meat. Could the disparity be any greater?! Of course, regardless of the disparity, turning around and fleeing was the most important thing.
Unfortunately, they didn't get the chance. In the moment before they could turn around, a black scorch mark appeared on their necks, and then all five heads fell to the ground, rolling away in different directions.
"Hey, what are you doing, Coward?"
"Get lost! I'm just surnamed Sun. If you call me that nickname again, I'll kill you!"
This Coward was the troublemaking man. After entering the room, he didn't calm down; instead, he opened the door a crack to observe. According to his preconceived notions, Liu You'er was likely Xuan Mo's little lover and probably not very powerful. If anything unexpected happened, he could lend a hand.
Of course, he wasn't being kind; he was worried about not being able to escape in time!
On the contrary, if she had high power and could eliminate those five Zombies without a sound, he could gauge her strength and perhaps gain some insights from her techniques. Who would have thought that those five Zombies seemed to have taken the wrong medicine? Upon seeing Liu You'er, they actually showed fear in their eyes, making him feel as if he were looking at his former self.
What happened next was even more outrageous. The woman merely moved her fingers slightly, and those five Zombie heads fell off without even a single roar escaping their mouths (not that they couldn't but rather that they didn't dare). Did this mean she actually moved? It was just that her speed was so fast that his naked eye couldn't catch it?
However, it was a bit strange; why did it feel like she had become thinner? Although she had been slim before, it was a woman's slenderness—not this dry and bony appearance. In just five minutes, could it be related to her Ability?
He furrowed his brows and opened the door a bit wider, his eyes wide with fear of missing any useful information. However, in less than a second, a shadow blocked his view, looking down at him as he bent over.
"Do you want to get rid of your eyeballs?"
The cold and charming tone sounded like a demon whispering in his ear, startling him into a cold sweat. He looked up blankly at Xuan Mo, who was half a head taller than him, feeling guilty. He muttered, "Who would want them?" and stood by the window to observe the surroundings.
Liu You'er twitched her ears but did not turn around. Instead, she dug out all the cores from the Zombie's brain and put them in her pocket before transforming back into her human form. She casually closed the door and turned to the person in the room, saying "It's done," before heading upstairs again.
Then, she continued her leisurely life of sitting by the window and drinking water. However, now no one dared to speak much or underestimate her because everyone here knew that it was impossible to kill five Level Four Zombies without making a sound in such a short time.
Moreover, the heads of those five Zombies were completely smashed beyond recognition, indicating that Liu You'er was not only ruthless but also vastly different from her delicate appearance.
In this apocalypse, someone who is inconsistent like this is even more terrifying than a Zombie, even if they lack strength, because they could very well drag you down with them. As for those with strength—well, they could easily torture you to death without a second thought. Therefore, these seasoned survivors who had been through so much would no longer seek trouble.
"Boom!"
A huge muffled sound echoed from deep within the ground, causing everyone with different thoughts to pause and look in that direction. They saw a massive purple flower growing between the streets, towering three stories high.
It emitted white smoke from its exterior; no one knew what it was, but they had found the reason for the decrease in Zombies in J City.
"Bang!"
"Bang!"
"Bang"
The flower's stamen was armed with fine teeth, constantly devouring the wandering Zombies nearby, and it emitted a crunching sound from within, as if it had a mind of its own.
"Huh~ An Eighth-Level Carnivorous Plant?"
Liu You'er glanced at the bright sun above, a slight smirk on her lips.
"Well, this just got interesting~"
