She thought for a moment. The flower itself had no foul odor, indicating that it was an Evolved Plant. However, being located on Main Street, even if it was a plant, it would definitely not be able to avoid the attacks of Zombies.

Liu You'er looked at the flower desperately stuffing itself with Zombies and felt a bit irritated.
It seemed that this flower was no longer just a simple flower but rather an intelligent one. The white gas it emitted not only masked its scent but served little other purpose...

Liu You'er rubbed her eyes and saw that Main Street still looked the same, except that the flower had vanished as if it had disappeared into thin air. Only by staring closely could she see a super blurry outline.

She glanced around and noticed that not far away, Xiang Chuyun was yawning while holding the collar of that Ability user, leaning against the wall like a soft-bodied creature, not even glancing at her, which made her instantly furious.
At the same time, there was a violent tremor coming from the ground. Of course, Liu You'er knew it wasn't an earthquake; something was crawling up from beneath the surface!
The Carnivorous Plant was originally an ordinary Morning Glory seed from the nearby flower shop. When the shop owner fled, it happened to be in the owner's pocket.
Unfortunately, during the escape, the owner was eaten, and it along with its companions fell into the cracks of the ground. It was just luckier than others because it landed near a headshot Second-Level Zombie.
After an unknown amount of time passed, it began to gain consciousness. A green object appeared within its body, and then it could finally actively absorb the flesh and blood it craved!
As time went by, its body grew larger and larger with the energy intake. Although initially attacked by Zombies, it later discovered that as long as it emitted white gas, those Zombies seemed to become blind to it and were obediently devoured.
Later on, no plant or animal could harm it, and even its companions around were devoured by it, except for the one in front of it!
It concentrated part of its energy at the roots, exerted force, and stood on the ground, beginning its first walk in its life. However, this way, its energy consumption was faster than usual!
"I'll eat you!"
A large purple eye appeared beneath the petals of the flower, staring directly at Liu You'er. Unfortunately, Liu You'er had no time to spare looking for it; she could only rely on sound to determine its location. Her movements to dodge the vine whips were somewhat clumsy.
Xiang Chuyun squinted his eyes, observing the dominant Carnivorous Plant and the flustered Liu You'er. A cross-shaped blue light appeared in his pupils.

Liu You'er silently cursed, her consciousness expanding to its limits. Instantly, several distorted spaces appeared around her, shrouded in darkness, with only white Electric Lights flickering and gathering within.

Several Electric Lights shone brighter than the sun, striking towards the Carnivorous Plant. Even the Ability user with his eyes covered felt the white light flashing before him.
When he heard the sound of leaves violently flapping, a smile appeared on his honest face. He excitedly reached for his eyes, wanting to remove the obstructive cloth and witness the death of this monster with his own eyes!

Xiang Chuyun noticed the Ability user's hurried gesture to lower his hand and withdrew her gaze. However, at that moment, a pair of cool sunglasses adorned her face...

she screamed in horror!!!
Originally, there were only a few fourth or fifth-level Zombies around, mostly Common Zombies. After her outburst, a massive horde of over a hundred Fifth-Level Zombies came pouring in, not counting the ordinary ones.
After attracting attention, you say you're a dignified Fourth-Level Esper; surely you can handle those Third Levels, right?
Well, she just crawled into a Trash Can, completely masking her scent and leaving the mess for him to clean up alone. How ridiculous!
