Liu You'er opened her eyes and found herself surrounded by swirling gray mist, unable to see anything.
What’s going on? Am I dead? That shouldn’t be the case; even though my skin is cracked, I shouldn’t be dead as a Zombie.
She walked slowly through this strange environment, feeling inexplicably calm, as if this was a part of her.
"I'm hungry."
Suddenly, an inexplicable voice echoed from all directions. She looked around but couldn’t find the source.
"I'm so hungry."
"Huh? That voice sounds a bit familiar… Is that my voice?!"
A scene suddenly appeared before her, the surrounding environment becoming clear. She could see, hear, and smell everything, but she couldn’t control her own body.
"I'm so hungry..."
Listening to her own suppressed and slightly hoarse voice, she felt a bit confused.
Could it be that because she had just exerted herself to transform into a Zombie, she hadn’t reverted back yet, and her consciousness was trapped?
As if to confirm her thoughts, a pair of hands with long black nails about five centimeters long appeared in front of her.
They were slender and pale.
At that moment, it seemed like she was lurking somewhere and could still see the place where she had just fought.
"I'm hungry..."
The voice came out again. Liu You'er frowned; it seemed that she was being controlled by the consciousness of the Zombie.
This was the first time she had encountered such a situation, and it made her a bit anxious.

Low-Level Zombies scattered around, Common Zombies fighting for territory, but there was no sign of the Zombie from earlier.
There was one possibility: she was dead, having lost all mental activity, or her Mental Power level was higher than Little One's!
She squinted, recalling how heavily injured the other had been; it was very likely she had died. Still, she decided to act quickly and took out a knife, swinging it fiercely toward Lu Feng's head.
"Slash!"
Zombie Liu You'er had no thoughts or sympathy for weak creatures; as long as she could kill them, she would do it as quickly as possible. With a single Ability, she struck down like a bolt from the blue, and the Little One didn't even have time to hide before meeting his end.

A satisfied laugh escaped her throat as she slowly approached the Little One. One hand reached for his head while the other grasped his neck, giving a gentle tug.

Given that her electric energy had shattered his Core and affected his internal organs, what could she say?
Of course, she wouldn't voice that thought.
"He left and threw you to me."
Dumpling fell silent for a moment, looking down before raising his head to ask, "When will he come back?"
"...When you grow up."
Dumpling seemed like he wanted to say something else but suddenly felt the sky darken. Curiously looking up, he saw a flock of birds blocking the sky.
"Sister... Sister."
Liu You'er looked up and said, "It's fine, these are evolved sparrows. They won't attack unless you harm their kind."
"Kind..."
Did Lu Feng kill a bird earlier?
She felt a chill in her heart; with this many, there were thousands...
"Chirp chirp."
One of the largest sparrows, nearly two meters long, spotted them and let out a sharp cry. The flock suddenly seemed to have a target and flew toward them.
