"You have been directly admitted to the Dark Dimension Super Soldier Academy through special recruitment. This is your admission notice. You have one month of vacation, and one month later, report to the Military Supply Office in this city. Remember, the events that occurred in the past week are classified military secrets and must not be disclosed to any non-military personnel," the investigator told Rek, implanting the electronic admission notice directly onto Rek's Identity Watch.
Afterward, military personnel handed Rek a blue tracksuit with a hood to wear before sending him out of the military base. He was then taken back to the entrance of the academy where he had previously taken the exam in a military Hover Car.
Rek observed many parents waiting at the academy entrance, discussing among themselves.
"The Rebel Armed Forces are truly despicable; they even attacked the College Entrance Exam Venue."
"Yes, it's all those Rebel Armed Forces' fault. My child has to retake the exam. I heard that results from other cities are already coming out, but only the candidates from this school’s exam site have to retake it. The pressure on the kids is too much."
"At least the children survived. Rumor has it that seven days ago, the Rebel Armed Forces detonated a special sonic bomb in one of the exam rooms at this academy. Both candidates and proctors in that room died; their bodies were shattered by the sound waves. That classroom has been sealed off now. Fortunately, the walls of that exam room were thick enough to prevent more casualties."

Rek stopped listening to the nearby parents' discussions and quickly pulled the hood of his outfit over his head, leaving this place of gossip.
Walking down the bustling street and watching the news from the Star Alliance Federation playing on surrounding buildings, Rek found it amusing.
Instead of returning to his rented room, Rek went into a small clothing store and bought a new outfit from top to bottom.
Afterward, Rek looked for an Inn, specifically one with private bathing facilities. He planned to change out of his current clothes to avoid leaving any traceable items for the Star Alliance Military. After all, Rek had too many secrets and was not strong enough yet to allow the military to notice him too early on Main Dimension Earth.
Of course, the War God System should normally be able to block all detection, such as that from the Identity Watch on one's wrist. In fact, Rek, who returned from the future, knows that although the Star Alliance publicly states that the Wrist Communicator is an identification tool issued to every citizen for communication purposes, it can actually be transformed into a listening and monitoring device after undergoing some special activation procedures by the Star Alliance Federation.
However, the process to activate this listening device is overly complicated. Even when the Star Alliance captures ordinary criminals, they do not activate the monitoring and listening functions of the Wrist Communicator. It is only secretly activated in situations that threaten the significant interests of the Star Alliance Federation; otherwise, if the public were to discover that the Wrist Communicator is actually a surveillance device, it would cause major trouble.
The fact that the Identity Watch can be activated as a monitoring device is a well-known secret among high-ranking officials in the Star Alliance Government and military. When these individuals wish to discuss private matters, they go to locations with special signal shielding.
Rek understands that compared to the Glorious Empire, the hidden detectors in every citizen's Wrist Communicator mandated by the Star Alliance Federation are much more sophisticated.
In his future experiences during the apocalypse, Rek encountered citizens and troops of the Glorious Empire. From birth, every individual in the Glorious Empire wears a device similar to a communicator around their necks.
This communicator has publicly known functions similar to those of the Star Alliance Federation's Wrist Communicator but includes an additional feature not found in the Star Alliance Federation: a hidden bomb. Through special procedures, the Glorious Empire government can detonate any bomb attached to an imperial member's neck.
In his previous life during the mid-apocalypse, Rek wandered into a Fortress of the Glorious Empire that was resisting an assault by Alien Species. Faced with a terrifyingly large Alien Horde, the Fortress Lord ordered militia members to join the battle.
The militia members, experiencing combat for the first time and witnessing the terrifying Alien Horde attack, were so frightened that over twenty of them wet themselves and attempted to flee back into the Fortress. They were immediately executed by having their neck bombs detonated by the Fortress Lord.
The scene resembled a small-scale bloody fireworks display as over twenty heads exploded simultaneously, leaving headless corpses maintaining their fleeing postures before collapsing to the ground.
This spectacle forced the guards and militia members who were about to retreat to return obediently to their positions and fight against the Alien Species, successfully holding off their frenzied attacks.
After taking a hot shower and changing into new clothes, Rek left the Inn.
With only a month left before heading to the legendary Dark Space, Rek had learned much about the Alien Species of Dark Space in his Previous Life; however, he had only been there once and had a lasting impression of it.
It was when Rek had just become a medical staff member that the Dark Space Alliance Federation was in urgent need of rescue personnel at the front lines. Rek, along with many fellow medical students, was dispatched there.
At that time, the war between the Dark Space Aliens and humans had already lasted for over a year. What left the deepest impression on Rek was wearing heavy protective gear while traveling through several Star Alliance Fortresses in a Hover Transport Vehicle to provide medical assistance. Along the way, they had to be wary of attacks from Alien Species, and the feeling of life and death being completely out of personal control made Rek feel very helpless.
Rek watched as the Genetic Mecha Squad escorting them could freely exit the Transport Vehicle. From that moment on, he longed to have his own Genetic Mech.
A Genetic Mech could evolve according to its environment. For example, a soldier equipped with a Genetic Mech who spent a long time in Dark Space initially needed to wear protective gear to resist radiation and toxic gas rays. However, once the Genetic Mech evolved to a certain level, they could walk in Dark Space wearing only the Genetic Mech.
Now, Rek knew that in a month, he would enter the Star Alliance's Fortress Super Soldier Academy in Dark Space, where he would finally obtain his own Genetic Mech. Before that, Rek planned to make some preparations. Based on memories from his previous life, there were still several hidden opportunities on Main Space Earth that did not exist in this world. Those who seized these opportunities in the future would gain prominence even if they later perished fighting against Alien Species.
Rek analyzed his situation and prepared to head to a location to try his luck.
"My physical stats are too weak. In comparison, those warriors who have trained since childhood and the younger generation from ancient families within the Star Alliance have much stronger physical stats than I do.
Everyone entering the Super Soldier Academy is among the strongest and most talented youth of the Star Alliance. If I am too weak as a special recruit, it will be very difficult for me to survive there. Moreover, I need to become stronger to better survive in the Alien Catastrophe," Rek thought to himself, deciding to go to a special technological town of the former Star Alliance Federation to seek an opportunity that could enhance his physical stats with minimal side effects.
