After returning to the medical hall, the Moon Goddess ignored Rek again and went to the kitchen to start cooking.
Rek accompanied Hua Tuo for tea and conversation, showing no intention of helping the Moon Goddess with the cooking.
While chatting with Hua Tuo, Rek asked the old physician about many difficult treatment scenarios he encountered while serving as a battlefield medic. Listening to Hua Tuo's analysis of the injuries and the treatment methods he employed, Rek gained some insights.

A large array of sumptuous dishes was laid out on the table, making Rek, who had just returned from the apocalypse of Alien Species a few days ago, feel a surge of appetite and excitedly start eating.
"Slow down, as long as you enjoy it," Hua Tuo said leisurely.
"No one is competing with you! It's been years since I've had a proper meal," the Moon Goddess replied coldly.
"Oh, your cooking is so delicious! I haven't had such good food in years," Rek said, continuing to eat without any sign of slowing down.
With a full table, Rek consumed four-fifths of it by himself. The Moon Goddess initially thought she had made too much food, but it turned out to be just enough.
"Not bad, I'm about eighty percent full. I'm going back to my room to rest. I'll do some exercises in the afternoon. Remember to come check on me when you have time, Moon Goddess," Rek said as he got up, patting his stuffed belly and speaking meaningfully to the Moon Goddess.
"After eating so much, be careful not to overdo it!" the Moon Goddess murmured.
Rek walked back to his room and lay on the bed, thinking about the beginner Devil Muscle Tearer training that was about to start in the afternoon.
Yesterday was particularly dangerous; he had been controlled by the War God System for high-intensity training without even stretching his muscles. Since he survived the first day, Rek believed that although the next fourteen days would also be tough, having the Moon Goddess's assistance would give him hope of surviving without being killed by that deceptive War God System Feather in his mind.
"Right, during training later, I should just go to the Moon Goddess's room. If I faint, she can see me right away for treatment. It will also make it easier for her to lift me into the medicinal bath tub without being discovered by Hua Tuo," Rek thought to himself.
Calculating the time and waiting for the arrival of the devil's training, Rek still felt it was too torturous; this kind of waiting in the face of unavoidable death was excruciating.
Rek simply walked into the yard and began doing the Star Alliance calisthenics, a set of exercises learned during physical education classes at Star Alliance High School. Although these exercises wouldn't improve physical fitness, as long as one mastered the techniques while doing them, they could help relax the body's muscles.
The Moon Goddess was sitting by the bed, contemplating whether to go save Rek later, when she suddenly noticed that her door had been pushed open from the outside.
It was Rek, dressed in loose-fitting clothes, who walked in.
"How did you get into my room without knocking?" she exclaimed.
"I'm training here so that it will be convenient for you to treat me with acupuncture and herbal baths later. This way, you won't have to drag me through the courtyard; I'm quite heavy. I'm thinking of you, no need to thank me," Rek said nonchalantly to the Moon Goddess.
As soon as he finished speaking, Rek's body was controlled by the War God System in his mind, and he began frantically doing sit-ups, squats, push-ups, and other warm-up exercises at a breakneck speed in the Moon Goddess's room.
The Moon Goddess stared blankly at Rek's insane speed of exercising, standing still for over ten seconds before reacting.
"Why should I thank you? I haven't even decided whether to save you! You're really reckless starting to train like this! Stop it now; if you don't want to die, stop!" she shouted at Rek.
"Keep your voice down; don't let Hua Tuo hear you napping! I have my reasons; once I start, I can't stop.
I need to get stronger; only by getting stronger can I live better in the future. Hurry up and prepare the medicine for my treatment! What I told you before was true.
By the way, your acupuncture technique from yesterday was quite good but can be improved. Try using thirty-six needles on the necessary special acupoints; that method can heal me," Rek said to the Moon Goddess.
Rek recalled a rumor from his past life about the Moon Goddess Robot. It was said that she was a divine healer with a special technique involving thirty-six needles. Although rarely used, these thirty-six needles could save a dying warrior. This technique was known in the medical community as the Moon Goddess's Deadly Thirty-Six Needles.
This "Deadly" did not mean to take life away but rather to snatch life back from the hands of death. Unfortunately, this Deadly Thirty-Six Needles technique had been lost after the Moon Goddess Robot was disassembled by the Lanstor Foundation.
After being treated by the Moon Goddess with acupuncture yesterday, Rek found himself thinking about the rumored Deadly Thirty-Six Needles. However, judging by the current situation, it seemed that the Moon Goddess was not yet ready to perform it.
"Thirty-six needles! You mean to say that those acupoints can heal someone on the brink of death with just thirty-six needles? You're not joking with me, are you?" the Moon Goddess asked, somewhat skeptical.
"Do I look like someone who would joke about their own life?" Just as Rek finished speaking, the War God System took control of his body and began the preliminary warm-up exercises, leading him to walk on his hands in an inverted position.
Rek looked at the Moon Goddess beside him with a helpless expression as she laughed.
"Stop laughing; I'm serious! You need to comprehend the Thirty-Six Needles yourself and analyze it using your years of experience in ancient medicine. You can succeed! I only know sixteen of the acupoints among those thirty-six needles. The application order and technique for each needle differ, and I don't know the other twenty acupoints," Rek explained, sharing the names of the most common sixteen acupoints from the Deadly Thirty-Six Needles published by the Previous Life Lanstor Foundation.
"That's impossible; it's unreasonable. Those acupoints won't work at all! What are the other acupoints?" The Moon Goddess pondered Rek's words, lost in thought.
Rek was now too exhausted to speak. After completing the warm-up exercises, the War God System had him in an inverted position, walking on his hands with his legs crossed over his hips. Today, he wasn't just walking; after a few steps, the War God System also had him bend his arms and jump lightly.
Fortunately, the War God System controlled his movements with precision, preventing any fractures during his awkward jumps and walks. Even so, Rek felt unbearable pain in his arms and thighs.
After half an hour of contemplation, the Moon Goddess finally snapped out of her trance. Seeing Rek's comical appearance as he walked on his hands in her room made her unable to hold back her laughter.
"I didn't expect that simply using thirty-six needles could heal your collapsing body on the verge of death; it's quite unbelievable. At least I can't do it right now. However, after hearing about those sixteen acupoints from you, I have some ideas. Would you mind if I used your body for an experiment later?
I thought of a method involving seventy-two needles; theoretically, it should work without issues! Anyway, since you're going to be exhausted later anyway, I might as well give it a shot. If it doesn't work out, you can't blame me; otherwise, I won't save you," the Moon Goddess said after some thought, speaking to Rek who was still inverted on the ground.
