Rek pressed a small white button on the injured metal Wrist Communicator of Moon Goddess. A slender needle popped out, gently pricking Moon Goddess's arm and drawing a small amount of blood. 0

"Ah!" Moon Goddess exclaimed in surprise, pulling her arm back. 0

The Identity Watch in Moon Goddess's hand began to activate, flashing a few silver lights. 0

"I'll teach you how to use the Wrist Communicator to call someone. This Wrist Communicator can be used as a communicator, alarm clock, notepad, camera, map, wallet, and other small functions," Rek explained as he brought up the virtual control panel on Moon Goddess's left-hand Wrist Communicator, entering his contact information. 0

Moon Goddess attentively followed Rek's instructions and then curiously attempted to dial Rek's communication number from the room to talk with him. 0

"This is great! It even has a wallet feature. Why does yours show five thousand while mine shows zero? This value must be used as money! Give me some money; I want it too," Moon Goddess said after looking at the amount displayed on Rek's Wrist Communicator. 0

"Ah, actually having money isn't very useful for you right now. Once we get to the Super Soldier Academy, you'll be an intern nurse, and the academy will pay you a salary. By then, your Wrist Communicator wallet will have an amount," Rek tried to persuade Moon Goddess, feeling guilty for mentioning the wallet function and transfer features of the Identity Watch without thinking. 0

"No! I want money now! I need to buy clothes. I only brought one white outfit with me, and it's all worn out. I see that girls in this city wear so many beautiful clothes." 0

"Back in the Ancient Capital, I secretly spent a lot of precious materials to make you a medicinal bath to save you. For your savior, you can't even spare enough money to buy me a set of clothes," Moon Goddess said pitifully. 0

"Here, I'll transfer you one hundred for now," Rek said painfully as he sent her one hundred. 0

"You have five thousand; just give me one hundred," Moon Goddess pouted. 0

"One hundred can buy a lot of things! Fine, I'll give you three hundred. I'll take you shopping for clothes; that should be enough for several outfits," Rek transferred another two hundred to Moon Goddess, thinking to himself, "An intelligent robot isn't scary; what's scary is an intelligent robot that knows money is important." 0

In a night market where vendors sold various goods, Rek took the white-clad Moon Goddess and they enjoyed some grilled skewers together. 0

The night market was bustling with couples and families browsing around. Although the silver-haired Moon Goddess stood out, the dim sky made it hard to see her face from afar; most people only glanced at her as they passed by. 0

"Moon Goddess, try using your Wrist Communicator to pay for the skewers," Rek said while eating his grilled meat skewer. 0

With a disdainful look at Rek, Moon Goddess activated the wallet function on her Wrist Communicator, paying the vendor 30 Star Alliance Coins. 0

After finishing their meal, Rek took Moon Goddess and wandered through the night market, turning several corners until they arrived at a street lined with clothing stalls. 0

Long rows of vendors sold clothes and shoes. Although the prices were very cheap and the styles varied, many people in the city came here to stroll and buy some clothes. 0

"Just tell the Boss what you like. By the way, shopping here is just like when you used to buy vegetables at the market in Ancient Capital; you can bargain. Back then, you paid with copper coins, but here you need to use your Wrist Communicator to swipe for Star Alliance Coins," Rek explained to the eager Moon Goddess beside him. 0

"Okay! Rek, what do you think of that pink dress?" Moon Goddess asked, pointing at a very revealing pink dress worn by a mannequin at a nearby rubber stall. 0

"It’s better to wear something more conservative, like sportswear, and show less skin. Once we head to Dark Space, if we leave the air filtration range of Fortress's Defensive Shield, you'll need to put on a heavy protective suit over your clothes. It would be quite cumbersome to wear a dress with that suit," Rek advised. 0

"Alright, I'll look for something else. But I want shoes with long, thin heels; I see many women walking in those," Moon Goddess said. 0

"Sure, let's buy two pairs of shoes: one pair of high heels and one pair of sneakers," Rek suggested. 0

Rek and Moon Goddess walked around for about two hours. After finishing her skewers, Moon Goddess had only 270 Star Alliance Coins left. Although the clothes were cheap, she wanted to buy several sets and had to bargain after choosing. 0

Moon Goddess happily dragged Rek around and spent 260 Star Alliance Coins on a dark red cloak, a black sports outfit, two pairs of shoes, and some underwear. 0

"Give me some more money!" Moon Goddess looked at Rek. 0

"Miss! These clothes are enough for you for a while. You can't bring too much luggage to Dark Space. Once we get to Super Warrior Academy and you receive your salary, you can buy new clothes," Rek firmly replied. 0

Rek was exhausted from walking and was determined not to give Moon Goddess any more money. He realized that all women shop slowly; even an intelligent female robot was no exception. 0

"Alright!" Moon Goddess still happily carried bags filled with clothes and shoes as she followed Rek out. 0

The sky above the Night Market was gray and hazy, obscuring the stars. Humanity's reckless exploitation of Earth's resources, along with the ongoing wars between Star Alliance factions and Glorious Empire, had caused significant pollution, resulting in extremely poor air quality on the Main Plane of Earth. 0

As they passed a stall selling masks, Moon Goddess looked longingly at the girls walking by, most of whom wore beautiful masks without speaking or moving much. 0

Rek bought a Cartoon Mask for Moon Goddess, which made her snap back to reality and follow him toward their hotel. 0

When Rek and Moon Goddess reached the exit of the Night Market, suddenly Rek heard cries for help and screams coming from the exit. The crowd ahead became chaotic as people frantically ran in all directions. 0

"Someone has been killed!" 0

"Call the police! There's a madman!" 0

"I'll kill you! How can you not die!" 0

"Help!" 0

The crowd quickly ran away from the exit. 0

"What happened? Let's go take a look!" Moon Goddess thought, wanting to join the commotion. 0

Rek squeezed through the gaps in the fleeing crowd and saw ahead a Red-Eyed Old Man squatting on the ground, wielding two butcher knives, hacking at the neck of what appeared to be a corpse. 0

With two swift motions, he severed a head. 0

Around the Red-Eyed Old Man lay five or six bodies, both adults and children. The youngest looked to be no more than ten years old, all unaware of their fate. 0

After decapitating the person, the Red-Eyed Old Man stood up and quickly ran toward the crowd, moving with a speed that was unnatural for an elderly man. 0

"This is bad; it's an Alien Primary Infected! I didn't expect Alien Species infected to appear at this time," Rek thought in shock. 0
