“Rek, this salesperson is really nice, and they even gave me several small cloth bags for Golden Needle.
I didn't know Golden Needle was so expensive. You never told me you had so much money. By the way, does it hurt your heart to spend so much on me?” Moon Goddess said happily as she carefully placed the cloth bags containing Golden Needle inside her clothes.
“I just borrowed it from the bank, so it doesn't hurt at all!” Rek thought to himself, gritting his teeth.
Rek hoped that this initial investment would pay off in the future.

In the morning, Rek put on his uniform from the Star Alliance Super Soldier Academy, while Moon Goddess wore sportswear. The two of them carried small bags and headed to the Military Supply Office in this city.
The guard at the Military Supply Office checked Rek and Moon Goddess's Identity Watch, and after verifying Moon Goddess's internship certificate for working as a nurse in the Super Soldier Academy medical room, he led them onto a transport ship that was over twenty meters long.
Rek and Moon Goddess were supposed to be temporarily separated because their seat numbers were different.
“Hey, can we switch seats?” Rek said to a boy with blue hair who was also wearing the blue-black uniform of the Super Soldier Academy.
The blue-haired boy was about to refuse, thinking he wouldn’t switch seats for anyone, but then he felt someone tugging at his arm from behind.
“Haoran, this is the Rek I mentioned to you a few days ago, whom I met during my time with the Fusion Stronghold Mecha Embryo! Quickly give your seat to Rek!” The boy behind him urged as he pulled the blue-haired boy up.
“Ah! It's you! You look even younger than in the video. I’m Haoran. I’ll give you my seat right away.” The blue-haired boy was stunned for two or three seconds before quickly getting up, trembling with respect as he let Rek sit down.
This blue-haired boy had not yet reached the required physical standards and needed to train in the Dark Space before he could undergo fusion with the Genetic Mecha Embryo.
However, a few days ago, he had heard from a friend who had already fused with a Genetic Mech about how students from the first batch of early fusion at the Military Supply Office had engaged in brutal battles with frontline soldiers.
His friend returned and bragged about how he had beaten up those sickly soldiers during the chaos and even showed him videos of the intense battles and scenes of disabled soldiers singing Conquer on the ground afterward.
After watching that, the blue-haired boy felt his blood boil; he wished he could have participated in that chaos. Today, unexpectedly, that devilish figure from the video was smiling right in front of him. Fortunately, his reliable buddy sitting behind reminded him; otherwise—he didn’t dare think further. If he did, it would turn into a horror story.
Rek sat beside the Moon Goddess, her seat next to the spaceship's glass window.
"All personnel, please return to your seats and fasten your seatbelts. The Transport Ship will take off in five minutes," an electronic synthesized voice announced in the cabin.
Below the metal spaceship, four anti-gravity thrusters activated, and the ship smoothly ascended before speeding towards the Star Alliance Military Base on the Main Plane of Earth.
This was Moon Goddess's first time on a high-altitude spaceship, and she excitedly gazed at the white clouds outside, but held back from asking Rek, fearing it would make her look foolish in front of others.
Half an hour later, the spaceship began its descent. "Why do my ears feel painful?" Moon Goddess asked Rek anxiously.
"It's normal when descending from high altitude. Just try to open your mouth wide. It's your first time on an anti-gravity ship; you'll get used to it," Rek reassured her.
Previously, in the Super War God System, during his assigned mission in the Earth Destruction Parallel Universe Mission, when Rek first rode on a Transport Vehicle and spaceship, the environment and equipment were nothing compared to what was available now with the Star Alliance Military. Initially, when he ascended and descended, not only did his ears hurt, but his whole body ached as well. Over time, he got used to it despite the pain.
The Transport Ship landed smoothly on an examination site established within a deep mountain at the Star Alliance Military Base.
This military base was surrounded by numerous heavy weapons and guarded by the Star Alliance Corps.
A massive, bottomless Black Void lay within the military base, nestled among mountains in a valley.
Surrounding this void, the Star Alliance Military had constructed many metal facilities.
As the cabin door opened, Rek and others disembarked from the ship and were instructed by soldiers at the base to enter a peculiar-looking Metal Train, resembling a missile head, parked on the right side according to their identification tags.
The track of this Metal Train was closed-looped, consisting of three tracks built around the valley, circling like three large exhaust pipes. The endpoints of these tracks all faced that large Black Void at the bottom of the valley.
In his Previous Life, Rek had been here before; this enormous Black Void served as a passage connecting to Dark Space on the Main Plane of Earth within the Star Alliance Federation.
The Special Dimension Metal Train, traveling along its closed-loop track around the valley, accelerated before ultimately traversing through a Spatial Channel to reach the Dark Dimension.
There was also a fixed Black Void on the other side of Dark Space, with three enclosed circular tracks near that large hole.
Three tracks exist: one leads from the Main Plane to Dark Space, primarily transporting equipment, soldiers, and some commonly used supplies.
Another track returns from Dark Space to the Main Plane of Earth, mainly transporting scarce energy resources mined from Dark Space back to the Main Plane of Earth.
The third is an emergency track, which is not activated under normal circumstances.
The doors of the Spatial Train, resembling a Metal Missile Head, closed as numerous students sat in their seats.
This time, the seatbelts automatically secured them tightly against the backrest. A Metallic Glass Helmet extended down from the ceiling of the carriage.
"All personnel, put on your safety helmets to ensure your brains are protected during the transit process. The Spatial Train will start in ten minutes. I repeat, all personnel, put on your safety helmets immediately—" A cold voice of an Officer echoed through the carriage.
Rek quickly checked that his glass Metal Helmet was intact before skillfully placing the Metallic Glass Helmet on his head.
In his previous life, facing a large-scale outbreak of Alien Species, the Star Alliance Corps had their mobile bases in Dark Space captured one after another. Rek and many Medical Personnel were ordered to return from Dark Space to the Main Plane of Earth.
Rek remembered a companion sitting next to him on the Spatial Train who had a small crack in his metallic glass protective helmet caused by an earlier attack on their base by Alien Species. Just seconds after entering the Spatial Channel of the Black Void, his companion let out a horrifying scream, and then his head exploded into tiny fragments, like a large watermelon dropped from dozens of stories onto the ground.
Now Rek had been assigned to a different carriage than the Moon Goddess. In the Star Alliance military base, passengers boarded their respective carriages and seats according to their Identity Watch numbers; no matter how powerful he was, Rek had no special privileges.
