A soldier in military uniform and helmet began to walk quickly around the cabin, confirming that all the students inside were wearing their helmets and seated properly. After ensuring everything was in order, the soldier hurried to his designated seat by the door and pressed a green confirmation button in his hand.
A few minutes later, the Metal Dimension Train started up.
The Spatial Train accelerated continuously along its enclosed track in the valley. Even with the pressure-reducing devices in the cabin, everyone had to press their backs firmly against their seats due to the rapid descent.
The cabin was filled with screams from many first-time riders, the Students, who were startled by the speed, and their cries continued to grow louder.
This metal enclosed track leading to the Dark Dimension was specially designed with unique materials and curvature. Although the track wasn't very long, it accelerated and reduced pressure based on different turns.
After accelerating for several laps on a specially enclosed circular track, the exit of the track would be automatically opened by the Light Brain in the Control Room, allowing the Spatial Train to plunge into a large dark hole at the bottom of the valley.
The duration, speed, and thrill of acceleration on the Spatial Train were on an entirely different level compared to the Maglev Train that the students had ridden before.
Although most of the students had mentally prepared themselves beforehand, many were now screaming in terror.
The soldier sitting by the door had grown accustomed to such scenes of panic and remained completely unfazed.
As the Spatial Train accelerated within its circular track, it finally reached the necessary acceleration to traverse the dimensional passage. The Light Brain in the Control Room automatically opened the exit of the circular track, and a beam of white light surged into the Black Void.
At this moment, half of the students on board were foaming at the mouth and had fainted.
Some students who had previously achieved sufficient Stamina through Genetic Mech fusion managed to stay conscious by activating a thin layer of Genetic Mech covering their bodies.
The soldier monitoring the situation in the cabin activated his own Genetic Mech into armed mode to alleviate pressure and dizziness.
Rek did not activate his own Genetic Mech. It wasn't out of a desire to hide; rather, he recalled an unverified rumor from his Previous Life.
There was a secret within two Space Tunnels that appeared between Earth and the Dark Dimension. Only those not wearing Genetic Mech, relying solely on their natural state, could sense it.
What exactly it was remained unknown to Rek, even after his soul traversed back into this world.
This rumor originated when Rek returned from Dark Space to Main Dimension Earth on the Spatial Train in his previous life. At that time, he did not have a Genetic Mech to wear and had attempted to sense something, but he gained nothing.
However, he remembered that a group of companions who went to serve as battlefield medics in the Dark Dimension sensed that secret during their first journey from Earth to Dark Space on the Spatial Train.
Unfortunately, the companion who sensed the secret was terrified upon arriving in the Dark Dimension and hurriedly reported some information to the Star Alliance Military. Shortly after, this companion was taken away by military personnel.
As a result, Rek still did not know the specific content of the secret hidden within the passage.
After returning from the Dark Dimension in his previous life, Rek never had another opportunity to ride the Spatial Train.
By then, the war between Alien Species from the Dark Dimension and Earth had reached its mid-to-late stages. The two main passages connecting Earth and the Dark Dimension, which were originally territories of the Glorious Empire and Star Alliance Federation, had been occupied by powerful Alien Species from the Dark Dimension.
In this life, Rek had another chance. He tried to close his eyes, putting aside the screams of students in the carriage, and relaxed his mind to sense the hidden secret within this passage.
After sensing for a long time and almost giving up, he suddenly heard a woman's voice vaguely speaking in his ear, intermittently telling him something.
Rek quickly concentrated his Mental Energy to listen closely to what the woman was saying.
Just as he felt he could hear clearly, the voice suddenly vanished. The Spatial Train began to shake and then started to decelerate.
Rek silently lamented, "What a pity."
At this point, the Spatial Train had already passed through the black void and arrived in Dark Dimension space. The words that woman wanted to say in the Black Void passage could no longer be heard; he would have to wait for another opportunity to ride the Spatial Train back to Main Plane of Earth and try again.
The Spatial Train gradually slowed down within the Metal Ring Tunnel, running for more than ten loops before coming to a stop.
The closed Metal Pipe opened, and the metal door of the Spatial Train swung open from the inside.
A group of soldiers carrying stretchers along with Military Doctors and nurses surged into the carriage of the Spatial Train, beginning to treat those students who were vomiting and unconscious after their first ride on the Spatial Train.
In Rek's entire carriage of fifty people, fewer than ten remained conscious, and Rek was the only one among them who had not undergone Genetic Mecha Armor Transformation and had not fainted.
"Young man, do you feel any discomfort or pain anywhere?" asked a Female Military Doctor in a short skirt with an impressive figure as she approached Rek. She bent down to unbuckle Rek's safety belt, giving him quite a view.
"I think I feel a bit dizzy; if you could help me out, that would be great!" Rek replied.
With the assistance of the female doctor, Rek stepped out of the vehicle.
Like many of the still-conscious Students, he was stunned for a few seconds upon seeing the massive Star Alliance Military Base established on the alien planet before him.
Although Rek had seen the main base of the Star Alliance in the Dark Dimension, known as Sanctum, this enormous Metal Base always left him in awe.
The main base of the Star Alliance in the Dark Dimension, Sanctum, constantly activated its high-energy Defensive Shield, surrounding the Spatial Channel it was built around. On Sanctuary Base, there were visibly over a hundred Pulse Energy Turrets.
It also featured four Large Connected Main Cannons and eight connecting channels that could dock with other Fortresses, with dozens of launch pads and exits available for external use.
Standing on the metal platform of Sanctuary Base, Rek found himself at a high vantage point, allowing him to see the environment of the Dark Dimension outside.
As he looked out, all he could see was black and yellow Sand, while dark chaotic energy clouds covered the sky above.
At the front of Sanctuary Base was docked a Mobile Fortress that was several times smaller than itself, resembling a metal Fortress styled like a university building.
At the top of the central teaching building of Mobile Fortress Academy hung two flags side by side: one was the Star Alliance Flag, and the other depicted a metal sword and laser gun as the Super Soldier Academy Flag.
In his Previous Life, Rek had only seen images of the Super Soldier Academy Fortress reduced to ruins by Alien Species in the news.
This was his first time viewing this renowned Academy Fortress of the Star Alliance up close.
