In the Arena, the Students saw a dark green figure flash by. Rek quickly ran forward and charged in front of the five members of Special Class One.
With a swift motion, he slashed with his Bone Blade, effortlessly deflecting the floating metal blade that was aimed at him.
Rek's right hand drove the Bone Blade into the chest of the awakened student controlling the metal blade, piercing through his body and emerging from his back.
This was still Rek showing mercy, as he did not activate his Genetic Mech's devouring ability; otherwise, this Ability Awakened would have been reduced to a pile of bones in an instant.
Rek swiftly withdrew the Bone Blade and then made two quick slashes, severing the right hands of two nearby boys from Special Class One who were wielding weapons.
In just a few seconds, three of the five Students from Special Class One were severely injured: one lay unconscious on the ground while two others had their arms severed, blood gushing from their wounds.
"Wow!"
"We give up! We surrender!"
The students from Special Class One shouted as they retreated.
The Twin Sisters from Special Class One, who had awakened their Ability, were so frightened that the water and fire orbs floating in front of them shattered. Faced with Rek's ruthless attacks, they quickly shouted "surrender" and jumped down from the Arena.
"Yay!"
"Rek is awesome!"
"Rek truly lives up to being one of Maya's from Special Class Two! He is equally ruthless; I love it!"
"Truly impressive, Rek with Maya!"
"Rek!" "Rek!"
Cheers erupted from the students of Regular Classes. After all, being able to injure an Ability Awakener as an ordinary Genetic Mecha Warrior was quite a spectacle, and the bloody scene excited many passionate Students.
Class One Homeroom Teacher Orland and Special Class Two Director Maya leaped onto the Arena.
Orland shot a fierce glare at Rek before quickly using his Wrist Communicator to call for medical personnel and applying basic first aid to the injured Student.
On the side of the metal training ground, two temporary Medical Personnel rushed over in a Hover Car upon seeing another injured Student. They quickly loaded three severely injured Students and two severed arms into a first aid Hover Car marked with a medical room sign.
"Come on, Rek, well done!" Maya said coldly.
Rek noticed a slight smile at the corner of Maya's mouth, clearly pleased.
However, Rek himself did not feel happy. Although he had easily incapacitated three people and forced the Twin Sisters to concede, the War God System's mission completion notification had not sounded, indicating that the task was not yet finished.
Rek looked at the mission completion conditions from the War God System: at least severely injure or kill three out of five challengers, instilling fear in them towards the Host, and forcing the remaining two to concede.
"It seems that the three injured still do not harbor enough fear towards me. This won't do; I only have Eight Hours for this mission. I need to 'visit' the Injured in the medical room," Rek thought. To avoid turning into a demon and slaughtering the academy, he squeezed through the cheering crowd of students and quickly made his way along a small path toward the medical room.

In Room 102 of the medical room, bloodstains covered the walls, bed, and Ground, filling the air with a strong metallic scent. A lone Female Cadet who had previously challenged Maya in the Arena curled up on her bed, trembling in evident terror.
Meanwhile, fourteen Male Students who had been injured while challenging Maya during the Opening Ceremony were sent back to Advanced Healing Pods after being kindly treated with needles by Moon Goddess half an hour ago.
Nurse Manli was comforting the extremely downcast Moon Goddess.
"It's okay, Moon Goddess, don't take it to heart, and don't mind what the doctor said about us.
After all, you didn't kill them with the needles.
You were just trying to help Fourteen Boys recover; it's not your fault they all rushed to you for acupuncture after hearing it could enhance their male abilities!
By the way, your Acupuncture Technique is quite impressive. After a few needles, at first their bodies didn't react, but then they all swelled up and bled! That scene was really something!" Manli said to Moon Goddess.
"I heard from the doctor that these fourteen Injured I treated will need several months of recovery even after being healed in the Advanced Recovery Pod! Did I make a huge mistake? I've really messed up; the doctor confiscated my Golden Needle," Moon Goddess said with a sorrowful tone.
"That's nothing! They can recover in a few months anyway. Given the injuries they had before, they would need to rest for several months to fully heal, so it's just a good time for them to recuperate together.
The doctor who was with us in the infirmary may have seemed fierce when she scolded you earlier, but she's actually very protective. As long as no one dies, it's considered a minor medical error within normal limits. In this Super Soldier Academy, there hasn't been a precedent for punishing medical staff; at most, they'll just cut some bonuses.
When I first started my internship in the infirmary, I once forgot to give an IV to a comatose Injured. Later, his blood flowed back half a bottle, and he almost became a human specimen. I only got fined two hundred in bonuses," Manli reassured her.
The door to Room 102 opened again, and three Injured were brought in by a stern-faced Middle-Aged Female Doctor along with several nurses.
These three had just come off the Surgical Table. One Male Student had his chest wrapped in bandages, while the other two had their right hands reattached and were still unconscious.
"Manli, Moon Goddess, take good care of these three Injured. When their Anesthetic Effect wears off, make sure they don't move around too much.
Now there's only one empty Advanced Healing Pod left in Room 101 of the infirmary, which needs to be kept for emergencies. To save on Advanced Recovery Fluid, I personally handled the stitching for these three patients on the Surgical Table.
Moon Goddess, remember, without my permission, you are not allowed to use needles on any more Injured. If it happens again, I won't protect you," the doctor said grimly to both Manli and Moon Goddess.
After speaking, the Female Nurse had the three Injured individuals lifted onto the bloodstained hospital beds.
"Make sure to clean this ward tonight. Change the bloodied sheets and covers, and find someone to repaint the walls splattered with blood," the female doctor said before turning and leaving the ward.
Looking at the three new students, two of whom had just had their arms reattached after being broken, Manli found it strange and thought, "Why are there so many Injured freshmen this year? It's only been a few days since school started! Did Maya the Sword Demon strike again?"
Moon Goddess began to fetch a bucket of water and used a mop to wipe the blood off the Ground.
"See, Moon Goddess? I told you our doctors are protective! They won't Punish you, the intern!" Manli said to Moon Goddess.

Rek ran into Room 102. Upon entering, he saw that what was once a nearly full ward now only had four beds occupied by Injured individuals. Three were those he had just injured, already treated and in a coma, while one was the only Female Cadet who challenged Maya during the Opening Ceremony, curled up in the corner of her bed, trembling.
The room was filled with bloodstains.
"What happened, Moon Goddess? Was your ward attacked by terrorists? Or did you get hit by Dark Space Mutant Beasts? Are you hurt?" Rek asked urgently, surprised.
Upon hearing Rek's words, Moon Goddess, who was mopping up the blood on the Ground, suddenly burst into tears.
Manli looked on, wanting to laugh but holding back.
