Rek prayed not to be discovered by the Eerie Species that had evolved three times in the distance. Unfortunately, the tragedy was that this gray humanoid Eerie Species was rapidly approaching him. 0

In just over ten seconds, the Eerie Species arrived in front of Rek and his clone. 0

Rek clearly saw what this Eerie Species looked like. 0

Although this Eerie Species had two hands and two legs, it had no head on its neck, only a large flesh-colored sac resembling a gourd. The upper end of the sac was hollow, and fleshy growths were wriggling at the opening. 0

"Sack-Shaped Absorber!" Rek exclaimed in his heart, calling out the name of this evolved three times Eerie Species. 0

He never expected to encounter this Eerie Species so early. 0

The Sack-Shaped Absorber evolved from the rare carnivorous sac-like half-plant, half-organism known as the man-eating sac flower in the Dark Space. 0

According to memories from his Previous Life, Rek knew that this Sack-Shaped Absorber, after evolving three times, became a special existence among the Eerie Species, extremely dangerous, possessing a "Memory Copying" ability. 0

Its sac-shaped head could copy all memories of any other creature it connected with. 0

In his Previous Life, when the Sack-Shaped Absorber first appeared, it did not attract the attention of the Star Alliance Federation Military, which treated it as an ordinary evolved Alien Species. 0

However, after several battles, the surviving Sack-Shaped Absorber became increasingly powerful, and military strategies against it were rarely effective. 0

Later, the Star Alliance Military expended significant effort and, by chance, captured an evolved three times Sack-Shaped Absorber, sending it back to the Star Alliance Military Research Institute for dissection and study. 0

Only after dissection did the Star Alliance Military Research Institute discover that inside the sac-shaped head of the Sack-Shaped Absorber, there were special neural tissues and brain structures capable of copying all memories of any creature it came into contact with. 0

On the battlefield, engaging with this type of Alien Species, as long as there was contact with its sac-shaped head, soldiers and officers of the Star Alliance Military would have their memories copied and provided to the Alien Legion. 0

The existence of this battlefield spy allowed all operational plans and defensive measures of any Star Alliance Fortress that had encountered a Sack-Shaped Absorber to be completely exposed. 0

Later, the Star Alliance Military devised a countermeasure: whenever an evolved three times Sack-Shaped Absorber appeared on the battlefield, all previously established operational plans would be rendered void after each engagement. They would need to draft new operational plans and modify most defensive positions to avoid being passive in future battles. 0

The Sack-Shaped Absorber quickly extended its dry, branch-like hands to grab the clone. 0

This Alien Species, which had evolved three times at the cost of its reproductive ability, was incredibly fast. The clone, possessing only eighty percent of Rek's power, had no time to react before being seized by the Sack-Shaped Absorber by the shoulders, firmly immobilizing it. 0

Rek felt the information relayed back from the clone; the hands of this Eerie Species were immensely powerful. Once grabbed by the shoulders, the clone had no ability to resist and was also subjected to a paralyzing effect. The upper half of the clone's body was already numb. 0

Rek quickly raised his right hand with the Bone Blade and swung it with all his might at the Eerie Species' hands, ready to rescue the clone. 0

However, what was once an indestructible Genetic Mech Bone Blade struck the Eerie Species' arm as if hitting a millennium-old iron tree, merely producing sparks. The recoil caused Rek's right hand to ache painfully, and the Bone Blade nearly shattered. 0

Rek despaired as he discovered that where he had struck the Eerie Species' hands, there was only a shallow cut; his full-force attack hadn't even broken the skin. 0

The Sack-Shaped Absorber held onto the clone for over ten seconds and surprisingly emitted a confused "Ah! Ah! Hey!" sound. Then it flung its hands, directly discarding the clone and throwing it over ten meters away. The clone landed on the sandy ground and did not move again. 0

Rek quickly scanned to check; fortunately, the clone was still alive but had lost feeling in its upper body. 0

The Sack-Shaped Absorber didn't even glance at Rek's clone lying over ten meters away, as if the clone were utterly inconsequential to it. 0

The Sack-Shaped Absorber reached out again toward Rek. 0

Rek quickly sidestepped and blocked with his Bone Blade. 0

However, with a flash, the Sack-Shaped Absorber appeared on Rek's right side and reached out again to grab Rek's shoulder. 0

Rek felt despair as he was caught; the dry hands gripping his shoulders felt like iron pincers, firmly holding him in place. His lower shoulders were already numb and lost all sensation. 0

Rek felt hopeless. According to memories from his past life, any creature whose memories were copied by the Sack-Shaped Absorber would be ruthlessly killed. The fact that his clone had not been killed likely meant it was newly created and lacked significant memories, making it unworthy in the eyes of the evolved Sack-Shaped Absorber. 0

At its sac-like port, flesh buds began to wriggle rapidly. The tendrils extending from the top of the sac connected to Rek's head. 0

Rek felt a sticky sensation on his scalp and found he could not evade it. 0

In an instant, numerous memories began flashing uncontrollably in Rek's mind. 0

Rek knew that the Sack-Shaped Absorber from the Eerie Species had begun to replicate his memories, just as the Star Alliance research institute had analyzed. Typically, it would take about three to five minutes for the Sack-Shaped Absorber to completely replicate a person's memories and then kill the original. 0

Rek called out for help to the System, but there was no response. He began to despair, waiting for his death, anticipating the fatal blow once the Sack-Shaped Absorber finished copying his memories. 0

He hoped for a reversal, for a savior to appear. However, facing a Sack-Shaped Absorber that had evolved three times, Rek knew that no one could save him at this moment. 0

The slimy end of the sack connected to Rek's head, and the foul odor made him want to vomit. 0

After waiting for about ten minutes, the Sack-Shaped Absorber still held onto Rek's shoulders, its sack pressed against the top of his head, showing no other reaction. 0

"Hey! Come on, give me a break!" 0

"Hey, are you done copying yet?" After waiting twenty minutes, Rek noticed that the Eerie Species remained in the same position in front of him; he could even see the sack writhing. 0

After thirty minutes, Rek saw white liquid beginning to flow from the opening of the creature's sack. 0

"Ah! Are you not done copying my memories? Is my memory really that good?" Rek wondered. 0

Forty minutes later, the sack of the Eerie Species around its neck started to contract rapidly, spraying out this milky liquid like a small fountain. 0

The Sack-Shaped Absorber's hands gripping Rek's shoulders began to loosen. The fleshy tendril connecting to Rek's head seemed to want to leave his body, avoiding contact with him as if Rek were some terrifying demon. 0
