" Ding dong, congratulations Host, you have successfully severely injured the Eerie Species. Now, as long as Host maintains continuous contact with this Sack-Shaped Absorber, its replication ability will not stop. Eventually, it will self-destruct due to insufficient brain capacity within the sack, and System and Host can share the special energy absorbed from it." The voice of the War God System suddenly echoed in Rek's mind, reminding him.
"How can it have insufficient brain capacity? Isn't the Sack-Shaped Absorber primarily skilled in replicating biological memories?" Rek asked the War God System in confusion.
"A Sack-Shaped Absorber that has evolved three times still cannot selectively replicate biological memories; it can only replicate all memories of a being at once.
Previously, in the Infinite Loop of the Biohazard World, Host went through too many cycles, causing his mind to collapse numerous times. The System selflessly repaired Host's broken spirit.
This sack-shaped Alien Species has replicated the memories of the Biohazard World that Host executed during the Infinite Loop.
The sheer volume and overlap of those memories, along with their similarities, have led to the death of the brain within the sack of the Sack-Shaped Absorber. As long as Host maintains contact with the Sack-Shaped Absorber for another twenty minutes, this Eerie Species will die on its own." The cold voice of the War God System resonated in Rek's mind.
Upon hearing this, Rek looked at the Sack-Shaped Absorber, which was spewing a milky white liquid. With his recovering instincts, he quickly grabbed hold of the Sack-Shaped Absorber, trying to retract its protruding tentacle buds, which were sticky.
The current appearance of the Eerie Species resembled being caught by its braid by Rek.
"System, you said you had tricked me badly before!
Just that memory from the Infinite Loop of the biohazard crisis could drive an evolved three times Eerie Species to collapse. Did you ever think about how I felt back then?" Rek complained angrily to the War God System in his mind.
"That's because Host didn't find the correct method before. Besides, Host also improved his swordsmanship from that infinite cycle!" The War God System replied and then ignored Rek's complaints.
The Sack-Shaped Absorber, wanting to retract its tentacle buds, found it impossible to do so and kicked towards Rek, attempting to knock him away.
Holding onto the tentacle bud's arm, Rek, enduring the disgusting milky white liquid spewing from its tip, quickly moved behind this evolved three times Eerie Species, wrapping his arms around it from behind.
Rek knew he must not let go of this Eerie Species. Otherwise, if the Sack-Shaped Absorber escaped and recovered, he and his clone would be unable to defeat it and would be killed instantly.
The Sack-Shaped Absorber began to struggle, aware that if it continued to replicate the memories of the freak human, Rek, it would ultimately collapse.
The Sack-Shaped Absorber started rolling on the sand with Rek, tumbling into a sand pit that had not yet been filled after the Two-Headed Lizard had emerged, becoming covered by the sand.
Fortunately, Rek was wearing the Genetic Mech, allowing him to breathe for a while under the sand without suffocating.
Rek felt the body of the Sack-Shaped Absorber struggling weaker in his hands; he estimated that in just over ten minutes, this Eerie Species would completely collapse and die.
Inside the sand pit, the Eerie Species released more and more white liquid from its tentacles at the top, trying to numb Rek's body and make him let go.
Rek also felt the numbness in his arms and body growing stronger. With the last sensation in his arm, he gripped tightly onto the Sack-Shaped Absorber, pressing his body down on it.
Five minutes passed. The sac atop the Sack-Shaped Absorber began to shrink, and its body started twitching rapidly. Rek knew that this evolved Sack-Shaped Absorber was about to break down.
Just as Rek felt relieved, he heard the sound of a Hover Motorcycle approaching from outside the sand pit.
"Rek, why are you unconscious! Rek!" A female voice called out from about ten meters away; it was his homeroom teacher, Maya.
At that moment, Maya parked her Hover Motorcycle next to Rek's clone.
Maya got off and rushed over to help when she saw Rek's clone collapsed on the sand. After administering a life-saving injection, she carefully lifted Rek's clone onto the Hover Motorcycle.
"Rek, you have to hold on. If you can just last another hour, I can get you back to the academy infirmary for treatment. How could you possibly face more than a dozen Two-Headed Lizards without getting hurt? You should have told me through your Wrist Communicator! I didn’t bring any emergency personnel!" Maya said anxiously, glancing at the scattered bones of Two-Headed Lizards around them, thinking that Rek had been poisoned after being bitten by one.
Meanwhile, under the sand pit, Rek's true self was still embracing the Sack-Shaped Absorber.
Tragically, Rek listened to Maya's voice above him as she loaded his clone onto the Hover Motorcycle.
Rek wanted to call out to Maya, telling her that it was his clone and that he was trapped under the Sand.
But Rek held back. Although he could brush it off as an awakening of his Ability, he wasn't ready to reveal the existence of his clone just yet.
Rek sadly listened from beneath the Sand, as Maya mistook the clone for the real him. Rek was currently with the sack-like absorber, having fallen into the same Sand pit that the previous Two-Headed Lizard had dug out, his body completely buried by the Sand.
The sound of a Hover Motorcycle starting up echoed as Maya took off with Rek's clone, speeding towards the direction of the Super Soldier Academy Fortress.
After another three minutes, the sack-like absorber in Rek's hands finally stopped moving. It expelled a large amount of white liquid, covering Rek's hands completely.
"Congratulations, Host, on successfully killing the evolved three times sack-like absorber, Eerie Species. You have taken another small step on the path to becoming a War God. The System will first devour sixty percent of the special energy, leaving the remainder for you." The shameless voice of the War God System echoed in Rek's mind.
Then, Rek saw golden light appear on his arm as the corpse of the sack-like absorber and the milky liquid on his hands vanished. The sack-like absorber quickly shriveled up.
After more than ten seconds, the golden light faded away. The War God System had completed its consumption of sixty percent of the special energy. Perhaps feeling good after absorbing the energy, it also healed Rek's paralyzed hands and body, restoring sensation to him.
Rek quickly activated his Genetic Mech absorption ability to consume the remaining energy from the corpse of the sack-like absorber that had been left after being devoured by the War God System.
The Genetic Mech extended five or six slender biological tendrils that directly inserted into the sack-like absorber's body. The remaining cellular energy within it was rapidly absorbed by the tendrils, causing its body to become even more shriveled.
One minute later, the body of the sack-like absorber had turned into something resembling dry human skin like tree bark.
