Rek got up and jumped out of the Sand pit, feeling the level of his Genetic Mech. The energy absorbed from the evolved Sack-Shaped Absorber was incredibly powerful.
Previously, the Genetic Mech was at the rank of Private, but after absorbing forty percent of the Sack-Shaped Absorber's energy, it had surprisingly evolved to the rank of Pinnacle Private, about to upgrade again, skipping over both Intermediate and Advanced ranks.
If it weren't for the War God System in his mind taking away sixty percent of the energy without hesitation, the Genetic Mech would have definitely evolved to Corporal in one go.
Rek looked around at the vast expanse of Sand. Without his Hover Motorcycle, Maya had mistakenly taken his clone away.
Rek knew that if he wanted to live better in the future and stop wandering in Dark Space, he needed to return to the Fortress as soon as possible. The only way was to head to the Dark Gold Soil Mine and find a way to swap identities with his clone there.
Originally, he had planned to walk on foot with his clone, but now he had to take on that burden himself.
Fortunately, Rek still had a Virtual Map of this area in Dark Space that Maya had forced upon him before going on her mission.
Rek set off, quickly walking across the Sand while remaining vigilant against any Alien Species that might appear.

In a black underground cavern within Dark Space, the Eerie Species Queen with Black Wings stirred slightly as numerous Dark Energy Rays surrounded her.
Standing five meters away from her were sixteen Sack-Shaped Absorber Eerie Species that had evolved three or four times, transmitting information to the sleeping Eerie Species Queen.
A month ago, while she was asleep, the Eerie Species Queen had issued orders to the Sack-Shaped Absorber Eerie Species to investigate information about humans invading from the Main Plane of Earth so that she could fully awaken and combat them.
The Eerie Species Queen's command was supreme. Twenty Sack-Shaped Absorber Eerie Species that had awakened early began traveling throughout Dark Space to hunt down solitary humans and replicate their memories.
For various reasons, only sixteen returned alive in the end.

Rek's True Form continued walking on the Sand in Dark Space. He sensed the current situation of his clone taken back by Maya.
After being brought back to Super Soldier Academy by Maya, his clone was sent directly to the medical room.
In the medical room, Nurse Manli and Moon Goddess rushed to treat Rek's unconscious and numb clone upon seeing its condition. Moon Goddess looked extremely worried.
Because Rek has a friend, the Moon Goddess, in the infirmary, she is considered a semi-internal relative. The doctor in the infirmary agreed to let the injured Rek enter the Advanced Recovery Pod for treatment.
Rek's avatar was placed in the Advanced Recovery Pod, absorbing high concentrations of Recovery Fluid energy to heal her body.
The true form of Rek, walking in the desert, felt relieved and continued on her way.
The next day, Rek's avatar had fully recovered in the infirmary. Rek's True Form controlled the avatar and chatted with the Moon Goddess before being called over by their homeroom teacher, Maya, through the Wrist Communicator.
Maya, Rek's avatar, and Alice were in a dedicated classroom for Special Class Two in the First District.
"Rek, you did well. You completed the hunting punishment of ten Alien Species!" Maya said to Rek.
Rek's avatar simply nodded.
Maya then spoke seriously to Rek and Alice: "Last night, I received a mission from the principal. Our Special Class Two is required to depart in two days to guard the Dark Gold Soil Mine.
This will be our first academy mission as Special Class Two.
In two days, the Super Soldier Academy Fortress will approach the Dark Gold Soil Mine.
Some mining machinery has already been operating at the mine. The Dark Gold Soil Mine is a rare energy mine discovered over a month ago by a reconnaissance team from the Star Alliance Military in Dark Space.
There should currently be some mining teams and a small number of troops stationed there.
Our mission this time is just a routine patrol. I will take you through it so you can experience the environment of Dark Space. The patrol will last for one week.
After one week, the Super Soldier Academy will depart with the extracted energy.

"None!" Alice replied.
Rek's clone also nodded in agreement.
"Okay, you can head back now," Maya told them. She was in a good mood; with Special Class One now reduced to two students, she wouldn’t be laughed at while executing missions alongside the Sophomore Class.
Rek's clone and Alice walked out of Special Class Two’s classroom and strolled along a path in Area One of the academy.
Alice spoke up, "The Dark Golden Ant Mother Bug is expected to awaken within five days if nothing unusual happens, just like in previous worlds. Are you prepared to deal with this Mother Bug?"
Rek's clone shook his head. "Although this non-evolved Mother Bug is powerful, I believe we can take it down together. The problem is that there are usually elite-level Alien Species guarding around any Alien Species Mother Bug. Especially with such a large population of Dark Golden Ants, if we get held up by elite Dark Golden Ants, we'll be surrounded by incoming Golden Ants."
Alice responded, "That's right. In previous worlds, I was often surrounded by elite Alien Species, which delayed my chances to kill the Mother Bug. This time we have two people. We can divide our roles: one of us can distract the Elite Guardians while the other delivers a fatal blow to the Mother Bug."
