Maya spoke to Rek and Alice, "If you encounter any danger, contact me immediately. Do not leave the valley or go up the mountain. The sooner you go and return, the better. Do not stay in the Dark Space environment for too long. When you return to the entrance of this Small Base, you can open one finger's worth of your protective suit's buckle and try to let your Genetic Mech have a small amount of contact with the air in Dark Space to enhance its filtering and purification ability.
Genetic Mechs are symbiotic biological mechs that can evolve based on their environment to assist us in battle.
Alice, your time should be around ten seconds; Rek, you can take a bit longer, about thirty seconds.
After that, seal your protective suits and wait at the base for your Genetic Mechs to autonomously enhance their filtering System.
Because in the future, when we fight against Alien Species, our protective suits will be damaged, and we will rely on our Genetic Mechs' purification and filtering abilities."
Rek and Alice nodded in agreement.
Maya walked alone into a small Metal Shack within this Temporary Base.
As a Special Teacher, she was assigned a small room by the mine's Temporary Base for her role as an Officer.
After returning to her room, Maya removed her protective suit and took out a small radio about the size of a water bottle from her pocket.
Looking at the radio, Maya smiled slightly, turned it on, and began her Savior's Declaration, immersing herself in her own world. With an uplifting tone, she told others through the radio to live with hope.
Rek and Alice stepped out of the Small Base again. Alice led Rek into the mine through one entrance and began heading underground.
Alice said, "You wait here for me; I’ll go check the situation over there!"
Previously familiar with guiding Rek's avatar through the underground tunnels, Alice seemed to deliberately avoid the storage area for Dark Gold Ore.
Rek controlled his avatar and noticed that Alice was heading toward the storage area for ore, indicating that she intended to sneak off without him to consume those Superior Dark Gold Soil Ores.
"Alright, I'll take a quick look around too; let's meet back here later," Rek said as he controlled his avatar.
Alice was eager to devour the high-grade Dark Gold Ore and did not ask Rek many questions.
The two parted ways, with Alice heading into the warehouse where the Dark Gold Soil was stored, releasing the Victorious Monkey.
"Alice, although there is the high-grade Dark Gold Ore you mentioned here, the amount is pitifully small—only three pieces. The rest are ordinary Dark Gold Soil Mines, which is different from what you said before," Fighting Saint Monkey said to Alice with some dissatisfaction. After absorbing the three pieces of high-grade Dark Gold Ore, it returned to Alice's body.
Alice walked around the warehouse in confusion, knowing that Fighting Saint Monkey would not lie to her. In previous lives, Alice had obtained numerous Superior Dark Gold Soil Ores from here, even though they were absorbed by the War God System.
"Strange! Why is there none left? It shouldn't be like this! Could it be that something has changed this time? I have been keeping an eye on Rek these past few days, following him closely. He shouldn't have had a chance to come here and steal the Superior Dark Gold Soil Ore! Could it be that Rek, this War God System Host, secretly came here before while executing the Alien Species Punishment, or has there been some other variable?" Alice pondered in her heart as she exited the warehouse and headed toward the rendezvous point with Rek.
After parting ways with Alice, Rek's clone quickly returned to the Temporary Base, grabbed a spare set of protective gear, packed it in a black bag, and ran back into the underground mine.
Rek's main body met his clone in a small cave within the mine. Rek took the protective gear from his clone and exchanged it for the one he was wearing.
Then, Rek instructed his clone to return to the Small Base first and wrote a provocative letter, slipping it under Class One Homeroom Teacher Orland's door.
"Old buddy, I am your grandpa Rek. Don't you dare lay your hands on my Maya. If you have guts, come out and face me one-on-one; I'll make sure you can't even be a man afterward. I've already found the location—right inside the mine—come over now..."
In this letter, Rek included a map showing the location near the Dark Golden Ant Mother Bug's cave.
In this mining base, Orland and Maya were the two highest-ranked Genetic Mech instructors in Special Class. Rek planned to lure this old man from Special Class One into a trap to block the entrance of the Dark Golden Ant's cave.
While resting in his room, Class One Homeroom Teacher Orland saw the mocking letter written in bold strokes by Rek and angrily tore it to shreds.
"Damn Rek! I haven't even looked for you yet, and you've come knocking on my door. Today I'll beat you so badly that you'll be unable to take care of yourself," Orland thought furiously as he initiated Genetic Mecha Armor Transformation and quickly walked outside with his large blade.
At Orland's level as a Genetic Mecha Warrior, he no longer needed to wear protective gear. He had evolved multiple times and could completely purify himself from the toxic gases and radiation of Dark Space.
Rek's main body reunited with Alice at their agreed-upon cave location once again.
Rek noticed that Alice looked a bit confused.
"Let's go kill Mother Bug. How about we get started soon?" Rek said.
"Sure, just be ready. I'll take you to the mine that's closest to Mother Bug," Alice replied, not mentioning anything about the special warehouse.
Alice led Rek through the mine again. She was very familiar with the tunnels and didn't even need to look at a map. They arrived at the mine closest to the Dark Golden Ant, where a Mining Machine was operating, continuously drilling into the rock walls.
"Mother Bug is just behind this wall!" Alice said, tapping on the wall, which felt quite thick.
"How are you going to break through this wall? At the current speed of the Excavator, we won't get through today," Rek asked.
"That's easy. I learned how to operate an Excavator before. This Excavator hasn't broken through the wall because it's been mining at an average rate. If we dig a hole big enough for us to pass through, we can break through in no time. Get ready; I'm going to knock out the worker operating this Excavator and drive it myself," Golden-Haired Alice said.
Then, Golden-Haired Alice jumped onto the Excavator. The worker driving it saw a small figure in a Military Protective Suit, likely a student from the academy. The military had informed the miners that a group of students would be coming to assist with defense, so the miners didn't pay much attention.
But in the next moment, the miner was knocked out by Alice's swift strike to the back of his neck.
Alice began skillfully operating the excavation machine, setting the drill bit to its maximum speed without caring for maintenance, and started drilling into the wall continuously in one direction.
The sound of metal colliding with rock echoed as the drill bit struck against the wall repeatedly.
