Rek nodded in agreement as the metallic sphere began to spin rapidly again, and the Time Machine started operating.
In a whirlwind of motion, Rek lost consciousness once more.
When Rek awoke, he found himself controlling an elderly man's body. The old man was dressed in a Star Alliance military uniform adorned with several commendation medals. Rek realized he had successfully traveled back a hundred years and had become Elder Starshine, the legendary figure of the Star Alliance Military Uniform.
Now sitting in an office chair, there were some files and documents waiting for him on the desk.
Rek thought to himself that this was his last chance; if he could not stop the use of the Seismic Disruption Weapon, which would lead to widespread devastation, Earth would self-destruct a hundred years later. He would also die in this Parallel Space mission world due to failure.
As he pondered how to prevent the use of the Seismic Disruption Weapon, he suddenly noticed an electronic military newspaper on his desk.
On the front page of the newspaper was a man dressed in a Special Forces uniform. This man looked very familiar to Rek, as it was his own appearance during his previous mission at the front lines of the Star Alliance.
Rek quickly grabbed the newspaper and began to read.
The report had a big headline that read, "The New Star of the Star Alliance Frontline Military - Special Forces Team Leader Rek."
Rek, controlling the body of Elder Starshine, stared at the newspaper in surprise. After thinking for a few minutes, he began to ask the War God System in his mind.
“System, what’s going on? In the Parallel Space I crossed into, why does it show my previous self? Is that person called Rek, really me?” Rek urgently questioned the War God System.
“The Destruction of Earth Parallel Space Mission is a continuous mission, but some changes have occurred in the spatial environment. However, the spatial positioning points remain the same.
The Rek you see in the newspaper is a split from the Host during the first execution of the Earth Destruction Prologue mission.
Currently, the Host is executing a subsequent mission, the first chapter of Earth Destruction. In this mission, when the Star Alliance and the Glorious Empire did not sign a peace treaty, they activated the Doomsday Weapon for an attack.

Looking at his image in the newspaper, Rek recalled how during the execution of the prologue mission, both empires were about to use the Doomsday Weapon, leading to the death of all life on Earth. At that time, he was on the front lines, fighting desperately. Initially, he intended to find an Underground Shelter to hide in, but later he survived by going into outer space with two sisters from the Glorious Empire.
Suddenly, Rek slapped his thigh and thought of a solution for this mission.
The requirement for this mission was simply to prevent Earth from self-destructing; there was no stipulation against using the Seismic Disruption Weapon. The self-destruction of Earth occurred because after signing a peace treaty, both empires secretly used the Seismic Disruption Weapon, leading to Earth's self-destruction a hundred years later.
But if now, according to how things progressed during the previous Earth prologue mission, both empires activated their Ultimate Weapon during the signing of the peace treaty, it would lead to an early destruction of civilization on Earth. Consequently, Earth would not self-destruct in a hundred years afterward.
“Could it be that I am ultimately responsible for triggering the final battle between the two empires during the prologue mission?” Rek had a vague feeling that the general who had been scolded countless times during the Earth prologue mission for prompting the Star Alliance to use the Seismic Weapon against them was indeed himself.
Having devised a plan, Rek immediately began investigating the Pioneer Ship. As expected, the Pioneer Ship did indeed exist. However, there were currently three reserve pilots in the Star Alliance, all of whom were healthy, making it impossible for Rek, who was still on the front lines during the prologue mission, to take part.
Rek controlled Elder Starshine and began issuing a series of commands.

The plan to destroy the Glorious Empire during the signing of the peace treaty was eventually approved.
A few days later, one of the three Pioneer pilots from the Star Alliance died on the battlefield, another was severely injured, and only one survived. However, this surviving pilot had family ties to another Military Leader, making it difficult for Rek to eliminate him discreetly.
Rek sent someone to indirectly inform this sole survivor that the upcoming Pioneer Ship mission was essentially a suicide mission, emphasizing its dangers as much as possible.
In the end, this pilot decided to withdraw.
