In Rek's hands, he held a Black Cat, its eyes seeming to speak. 0

"Go ahead, leave this place, little one," Rek said to the Black Cat. The cat looked at him with reluctant eyes before running away. Rek himself did not understand why he let the Black Cat go first or where it had come from. 0

The scene changed rapidly, and Rek found himself at his high school graduation ceremony in the Main World. A junior of his from high school was boarding a Transport Vehicle, heading to the front lines of the Star Alliance Military. Rek's classmates from his senior year were there to see him off. 0

Suddenly, among the students who were sending him off, many from his College Entrance Exam Venue surrounded Rek. 0

"Why did you kill me? Why did you stab me in the Eerie Species' barrier?" a girl with a dagger protruding from her chest grasped Rek's shoulder, crying out. Blood flowed continuously from her wound, staining her clothes and the ground. 0

"Rek, you are my classmate. The Eerie Species is our enemy, but why did you attack a fellow student? You killed me in the dark barrier of the Eerie Species, leaving me to die at the College Entrance Exam Venue when I could have survived," another male student with a dagger in his chest shouted angrily while gripping Rek's arm. 0

Rek looked at the boy and girl in front of him with surprise; they were the two classmates who had died by his hand while dealing with the Eerie Species at the College Entrance Exam Venue. 0

"If I hadn't killed you, you would have died in the Eerie Species' dark barrier anyway. By killing you, I still had a chance to survive. When the Eerie Species appeared, those of you trapped in that dark barrier were doomed; it was just a matter of time," Rek said after being startled and pausing for a few seconds. 0

Around him, dozens of students from his exam venue surrounded him. A frail candidate jumped out and threw a punch at Rek's chest. 0

Rek dodged swiftly. 0

"You are making excuses for your cowardice! You think you can survive while we die!" 0

"You kept the chance to live for yourself and sacrificed us!" 0

"Die! I just graduated from high school, my wonderful college life hasn't even started, and I'm dead. Why is it that you're the only one alive in the exam room?" One by one, male and female students rushed forward, engaging in a scuffle with Rek. 0

Fortunately, these students had weak attacking power; Rek could easily send them flying with a simple gesture. 0

One frail student was tossed aside by Rek's hand and rolled several times on the ground. 0

Rek noticed that he nearly landed on a steel pipe that was standing upright on the ground. 0

Even when hit, the high school students in the same exam room quickly got back up to continue their assault on Rek. 0

"Genetic Mecha Armor Transformation!" Rek, fueled by anger, activated the Genetic Mecha Armor Transformation. A dark gray Genetic Mech covered his body, rendering the unarmed students unable to break through his defenses; their hits felt like mere tickles. 0

At that moment, a black figure suddenly appeared about ten meters in front of Rek—the proctor teacher. The sharp-featured proctor radiated a black energy aura, and his immense presence caused the surrounding students attacking Rek to collapse to the ground. 0

Even Rek himself, despite relying on the Genetic Mech, could barely maintain his stance. 0

Rek realized he had encountered a powerful opponent far beyond his capabilities. 0

"Your ultimate opponent is me!" the proctor said to Rek. Suddenly, the proctor's face transformed into that of Black Cat, whom Rek had previously let go, and the surrounding space began to shatter. 0

"Ah!" Rek jolted awake, sitting up abruptly to find himself lying on a metal bed. He looked around; this was his dormitory, part of the Super Soldier Academy. 0

"What's with all the noise in the middle of the night? Disturbing my sleep like this is unacceptable," came Alice's annoyed voice from the bed across from him. 0

Rek wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, realizing it was just a nightmare. He hadn't dreamed in a long time, and now he had a strange nightmare. 0

"Ding dong, significant fluctuations detected in Host's mental state. It is advised to stabilize emotions. A War God should not be swayed by external matters, and unnecessary emotional fluctuations should be avoided," the cold voice of the War God System echoed in Rek's mind. Soon, a half-floating entity of the War God System appeared before him. 0

"War God System, I just had a strange nightmare. Let me ask you something: in the Main World, did the souls of those students and teachers absorbed by the Eerie Species at the College Entrance Exam Venue end up being indirectly absorbed by you? 0

Do the souls of those who died at the College Entrance Exam Venue still exist? Will they turn into ghosts or some special energy to seek revenge on me?" Rek asked the half-floating entity of the War God System. 0

"Host, all souls of students and teachers present in the classroom during the exam in the Main World were absorbed by the Eerie Species, except for yours. 0

Although the System ultimately absorbed the mental energy of the Eerie Species and energy from Dim Space, those souls have already been completely transformed into energy forms required by the System. This transformation is irreversible. 0

The souls of those deceased students and teachers are akin to a form of mental energy; they have long been thoroughly transformed and absorbed by the War God System. In terms familiar to your Earth, they are completely gone, with no possibility of returning to seek you out," the cold voice of the War God System stated firmly in Rek's mind. 0

"That's good to know. Just now, I had a nightmare where those students and teachers who died at the College Entrance Exam Venue came to trouble me, asking why I was the only one left alive. They surrounded me, along with a strange Black Cat. By the way, I’ve never owned a cat! I've never even seen this Black Cat," Rek said with some confusion. 0

"Host may be experiencing thoughts during the day that manifest as dreams at night. The reason for being surrounded by these students and teachers is that deep down, you feel guilty towards them. Those thoughts are likely hidden deep within your subconscious and are not something you think about regularly; they are suppressed by your rational mind. 0

However, while you sleep, your subconscious releases these suppressed thoughts. In your dream, you displayed cowardice, believing that you owed something to those people, which led to their resurrection to confront you. 0

A War God should not feel this way. Everything done by a War God is correct; there should be no regrets or guilt over past actions. This way, a War God remains flawless in spirit and becomes an invincible existence. As someone destined to become a War God in the future, Host must hold themselves to the standards of a War God," the cold voice of the War God System continued in Rek's mind. 0
