In the **Tower**, Rek was enjoying a sauna and soaking his feet, having failed his mission once again.
Inside the **Tower**, Rek began to cultivate flowers and fish, quickly becoming an expert in both, yet he still failed his mission.
After continuous failures, Rek was fed up and even contemplated suicide. However, it was quite easy to end one's life in the **Tower**; it would directly assist you in committing suicide, after which the mission would fail and reset.
"Forget it, **Tower**, I give up. Just write me the continuations of those unfinished web novels from before I graduated high school in the Main World, especially those that were left hanging."
"Make sure the novels you continue are long, at least a million words. I want to read to pass the time," Rek shouted inside the **Tower**.
Before experiencing the apocalypse in Dark Space and before his rebirth, Rek had been a middle school student who loved reading novels. However, after entering medical school in college, he had no time to read anymore due to the outbreak of Alien Species.
In front of Rek, a novel he had followed during high school appeared. Unfortunately, the author had stopped updating it, but now the **Tower** had actually created a continuation for it.
Rek spent several hours finishing one book, and then the **Tower** produced another one for him.
Leaning against the wall of the **Tower**, Rek began reading novels to pass the time.
Days passed, and there were already four or five dozen novels with endings crafted by the **Tower** piled up in front of him.
Rek held in his hands a novel he had read during his sophomore year of high school, one that had been abandoned by its author with numerous unresolved plot points. Now, surprisingly, the **Tower** had provided a perfect continuation and was continuously filling in those gaps as Rek eagerly read on.
Suddenly, the **Tower** began to shake. Rek looked up to see that the back door of the **Tower** had opened.
"I can't continue writing!" A tearing sound echoed within the **Tower**.
"Congratulations, Host, on completing a mission that even the **Tower** couldn't finish," said the voice of the War God System in Rek's mind.
Upon hearing that he had completed his mission, Rek tossed aside the unfinished novel he had been holding and hurried out of the **Tower**.
As Rek stepped outside, the **Tower** collapsed.
"Is this really possible?" Rek thought to himself with some emotion, unsure of what else to say. The War God System also seemed at a loss for words and chose not to speak further.
Rek saw a large stone tablet appear before him, inscribed with a row of big characters.
"Write down how you exited the **Tower."
Next to the stone tablet lay a sharp carving knife.
Rek noticed that beneath the large characters, there were several lines of smaller text that read: "I think of nothing; I am a monk. The four elements are empty, everything is an illusion, reality and illusion coexist."
"Be a tower demolition fanatic, demolishing millions of towers."
"Every day I had 'good' dreams, but later the tower kicked me out."
After pondering for a moment, Rek picked up the carving knife and found he could easily carve whatever words he wanted onto the stone tablet.
"Host, those are methods written by other War God System Hosts after completing the **Tower. This **Tower task is a fixed task; when Host meets certain conditions, it will be activated." The voice of the War God System echoed in Rek's mind.
"Are the other War God System Hosts former Hosts, or does the War God System have others like me?"
"Do I really need to write down the true method of completing the **Tower on the stone tablet? Is it for future generations to see? What’s the point of writing it down?" Upon hearing the System's words, Rek was startled and raised his questions.
When he obtained the War God System, it was a fragmented feather. Now, Rek was uncertain if there were other feathers and if others had also acquired the War God System.
Although he estimated that no one in his current space possessed the War God System, as a War God System Host, Rek understood that the universe has Parallel Spaces and different timelines existing simultaneously.
"Whether there are other War God Systems, Host, your current level is insufficient to know this matter.
As for what to carve, it entirely depends on Host's mood. As long as you write a passage, regardless of its truthfulness, Host can leave here. After returning to your real space, a lottery will be conducted." The voice of the War God System resonated in Rek's mind.
After some thought, Rek decided to write the truth. At least the first few entries looked genuine. Although the System did not say so, given the deceptive nature of the War God System, writing falsehoods might jeopardize his chances for rewards.
Holding the carving knife, Rek wrote on the stone tablet: "Read numerous novels and let **Tower weave stories for you."
After finishing, a golden door appeared before him once again, and his body was drawn into it. When Rek awoke, he found himself lying on the bed in his dormitory at the Super Soldier Academy.
"Ding dong, congratulations Host on completing the Tower mission. The mission evaluation indicates that Host has experienced numerous illusions, seen through the void, and conceived ideas that even the Tower cannot realize, having already transcended normal human thinking.
Host's achievements have caused the Tower to collapse; Host is one step closer to becoming a War God. The completion rating is S-class, and you may now draw an S-class item reward," the voice of the War God System echoed in Rek's mind.
Rek was exceptionally excited upon hearing this; it was the first time he had received such a high evaluation. He never expected that this fixed mission from the Tower would grant him an S-class item reward.
Moreover, he was fortunate that he encountered no dangers while completing this Tower mission and enjoyed the pleasure and satisfaction of completing thousands of tasks.
A golden spinning wheel appeared in Rek's mind, inscribed with S-class item rewards. There was a large pointer on the wheel. Rek glanced at the wheel and saw many strange but extraordinary rewards listed among its segments.
Rek looked at the wheel and pulled the lever to start it; the pointer began to spin rapidly. He pulled again, slowing down the pointer.
Under Rek's hopeful gaze, the pointer wobbled past "Divine Demon Body" and finally stopped on "Artifact: Beginner Version of the Tower."
A small tower sculpture appeared before Rek, a golden little tower with two large characters hanging on its door. This small tower floated in front of him.
Rek quickly looked at the introduction for the Beginner Version of the Tower, feeling particularly excited about obtaining an artifact.
Although this artifact sounded like a beginner version, it also mentioned that it could be upgraded, indicating potential for enhancement.
