"Alright!" Alice nodded with a smile, revealing her two cute tiger teeth, and gave Moon Goddess a wink.
"I'm going to change into the isolation suit. Please wait for me, Mentor," Moon Goddess said to Master Mie beside her.
"Hurry up."
Moon Goddess started to dawdle as Alice followed her out.
They arrived at the changing room of the infirmary, where Moon Goddess began putting on the isolation suit.
"Is that Headless Humanoid Aberration really dangerous?" Moon Goddess asked Alice beside her.
"Under normal circumstances, ten Genetic Mecha Warriors wouldn't be able to defeat one of those Alien Species. Moreover, the terrifying part about this Headless Abomination is its undead attribute. Even without a head, I can't kill it.
So before Rek contacts you with the Wrist Communicator, don't leave this changing room.

At that moment, the Wrist Communicator in Alice's hand rang. She looked at it and saw that it was her mentor Maya.
Alice smiled and answered the communicator, using her sweet childlike voice: "Master Muya, what can I do for you?"
On the other end of the communicator, Maya's furious voice came through: "Where are you right now? Why aren't you at the Second Training Ground? Didn't I tell you before class this morning? You were supposed to come to the Second Training Ground this afternoon to observe the Sophomore Class battle against the Headless Humanoid Alien Species. You still ask what I'm contacting you for—do you and Rek even consider me as your mentor?"
Hearing Master Muya's angry questioning, Alice remained completely calm and continued to respond in her sweet, innocent tone: "What? You want me to go over right now? Master Muya, you said this morning that Rek and I were supposed to go observe.
But you only mentioned that we needed to be at the Second Training Ground on time in the afternoon; you didn't specify such an early time. I thought when you said afternoon, it meant around three o'clock after the second period."
Wrist Communicator On the other end of the communicator, Maya heard Alice's response and felt a surge of anger. She shouted into the communicator, "All outdoor training combat classes, unless otherwise notified, are scheduled for the first period in the afternoon. There is no class during the second period.
I informed you this morning to come over for the first period in the afternoon.
Alice, if you don't arrive before Sophomore Students fight against Headless Abomination, your practical combat course grade this semester will be failing."

The communicator then played back Maya's statement from that morning, which indeed did not clearly specify the afternoon class time but only required Rek and Alice to arrive on time.
Listening from the Second Training Ground, Maya was furious that her student dared to secretly record her and even threatened to report her. She was nearly driven mad with rage.
"Do you think that just because of you, we can delay the schedule for the Sophomore Class! Who do you think you are! Get over here to the Second Training Ground immediately!" Maya shouted into the communicator before shutting it off. She feared that if she continued listening, she might be unable to resist taking her sword and attacking Alice.
After hearing Maya's furious voice through the communicator and closing it, Alice stuck out her tongue.
Beside her, Moon Goddess was stunned; there was such an impressive student.
Having come from the Ancient Capital, where teachers were highly respected, Moon Goddess had never encountered anyone like Alice, who dared to threaten their teacher.
"Um, are you sure you're okay? You should hurry over there. Your instructor Maya is already angry; I can handle things here alone," Moon Goddess softly advised Alice. She now realized that this little girl, Golden-Haired Alice, was not as cute and harmless as she appeared.
"Don't worry; it doesn't matter if I go early or late. Besides, facing Maya's fury will be directed at you alone."
I think I should wait for Rek to go first, or it would be better to go together after Rek comes back.

After hearing this, the Moon Goddess understood why Alice could get along with Rek; it turned out that neither of them was a normal student.

Beneath the Sand in the Super Soldier Academy Fortress, Rek quickly approached the tail of the Death Worm. His right hand generated a Bone Blade from his Genetic Mech and swiftly stabbed it into the head hanging from the worm's tail.
"Chirp!" The head screamed in terror as it saw the approaching Bone Blade and Rek. However, being already separated from its body, it couldn't evade Rek's fierce strike.
The head was pierced directly by the Bone Blade and was quickly absorbed by Rek's activated Genetic Mech, turning into a skull.
The massive Death Worm Variant moving ahead also heard the screams from the head hanging at its tail. The Death Worm flicked its enormous tail and let out a low groan. After waiting for a second or two without any response, it realized that something must have happened to the head attached to its tail.
The Death Worm slowed down its movement, and its head began to twist and burrow into the ground, trying to look back at its tail. Rek felt as if he were facing a giant greedy snake that wanted to turn around and eat him.
Rek controlled his position, hiding behind the Death Worm's large rear end. Holding the Bone Blade in his right hand, he began to slice into the Death Worm's backside. With each strike, he was able to cut off large chunks of flesh.
