At the exit of the training ground in Area One of the Super Soldier Academy, two Hover Motorcycles were already parked next to Maya.
Maya watched as Rek and Alice hurried over.
"You two, quickly perform the Genetic Mecha Armor Transformation, change into your protective suits, and check your equipment. Once everything is fine, we will prepare to depart," Maya instructed Rek and Alice.
Alice and Rek swiftly underwent the Genetic Mecha Armor Transformation, and after changing into their protective suits, Rek took the driver's seat of the Hover Motorcycle while Alice sat in the passenger seat.
"When you drive out of the Super Soldier Academy Fortress tunnel, take it slow at first. Rek, test the performance and gradually accelerate once you're familiar with it," Maya reminded Rek over the Class Communication Channel.
"Don't worry, teacher," Rek replied as he activated the Hover Motorcycle's ignition.
In a flash, he sped off with Alice towards the first area exit of the Super Soldier Academy Fortress.
Fortunately, Maya had already communicated with the guards beforehand and completed the mission application process. The guards quickly opened the metal door, allowing Rek's Hover Motorcycle to leave without further checks or delays.
The guards felt a bit apprehensive, thinking about how this seemingly reckless student almost crashed the Hover Motorcycle into the tunnel's metal door. If that had happened, it would have been difficult to determine responsibility for such an incident; since the establishment of the Super Soldier Academy Fortress, there had never been an accident involving a student driving a vehicle into a tunnel door.
Maya watched from behind, her heart racing. She quickly activated her Hover Motorcycle to follow them.
"There's no point in reminding Rek too much; it's redundant when dealing with a problematic student," Maya thought to herself.
Two Hover Motorcycles were traveling across the Sand in Dark Space. Maya, the teacher, was doing a great job driving the Hover Motorcycle while explaining the situation in Dark Space to Rek and Alice through the Class Communication Channel. She would repeat important points several times to ensure both of them understood.
During the journey, they did not encounter any unknown Alien Species that the Super Soldier Academy Fortress radar had failed to detect.
"Why haven't we seen any unknown Alien Species yet?" Rek asked through the Class Communication Channel.
"Under normal circumstances, encountering an unknown Alien Species once in ten patrols is considered a high probability. Not encountering them is normal and actually a good thing. Just focus on driving the Hover Motorcycle," Maya replied over the communication channel.
After about two hours of travel, Alice checked the Virtual Map and realized they were approaching the location of the Two-Headed Wolf Mutant Group that she and Rek had agreed upon yesterday.
"Master Muya, Rek, let me drive the Hover Motorcycle for a bit to practice.
I have done virtual training for driving Hover Motorcycles at the Super Soldier Academy Fortress before, and after watching you drive for several hours, I think I understand it now," Alice's sweet voice came through.
"Sure, I'll stop now so we can switch places. I'm getting a bit tired of driving anyway.
Don't worry, Alice; I'll keep an eye on you from the co-pilot seat.
It's good for you to practice; who knows, you might encounter a mission where you'll need to drive the Hover Motorcycle on your own," Rek agreed with Alice's request without waiting for Master Muya to respond.
Rek slowed down his Hover Motorcycle and prepared to switch driving positions with Alice.
Maya also reduced her speed, and in the communication channel, she heard Rek's agreement.
Maya thought for a moment; since there had been no incidents along the way, she reluctantly decided not to stop Rek and Alice from switching their driving positions this time.
After all, what Rek said earlier made some sense. A Genetic Mecha Warrior capable of independent combat often encounters missions that require driving a Hover Motorcycle in Dark Space.
If even a simple vehicle like the Hover Motorcycle cannot be operated, it is quite unreasonable for a Special Class Student.

"Rek, help Alice stop, hurry! Ahead of you is a gathering of Alien Species. Damn it, that's the Two-Headed Wolf Mutant Group.
You must not crash into them." Maya glanced at their Virtual Map.
Seeing the direction in which Alice was driving the Hover Motorcycle, she thought it was bad and quickly contacted Rek, who was in the co-pilot seat.
"Master Muya, this Hover Motorcycle is going too fast. Alice isn't driving straight; she's swerving back and forth.
I can't control the co-pilot at all, and I've never used it before. I don't even know what all these buttons on the co-pilot instruments do."
"Master Muya, come save me!" Rek shouted anxiously into the communicator.
Upon hearing this, Maya felt a dark line flash across her mind. She thought to herself that she was in trouble, having these two troublesome students who had encountered problems while driving the Hover Motorcycle. She had overestimated Rek and Alice.
Maya realized that this situation was partly her responsibility as a teacher. She shouldn't have allowed Alice to drive the Hover Motorcycle, and Rek, sitting in the passenger seat, was also quite unreliable.
With a determined expression, Maya drove the Hover Motorcycle to catch up.
As she had anticipated, the Hover Motorcycle careened right into the territory of the Two-Headed Wolf Mutant Group. More than ten Two-Headed Wolves were resting on the sand, each standing over two meters tall.
The sand kicked up by the Hover Motorcycle knocked one of the Two-Headed Wolves over.
Then, to Maya's dismay, Alice stopped the Hover Motorcycle not far from the Two-Headed Wolf Pack. Of all times to stop, it had to be now.
Seeing her two students ahead, Maya had no choice but to take the risk and drive her Hover Motorcycle through the Two-Headed Wolf Pack, stopping beside Rek and Alice.
At that moment, Rek was swapping places with Alice on the Hover Motorcycle.
"Maya, I finally found the emergency stop button! I'm switching driving positions with Alice now," Rek said quickly after they changed seats. "Those two-headed wolf aliens are coming at us! We need to start the Hover Motorcycle and escape!"
"Woohoo! Driving this Hover Motorcycle is way harder than those virtual motorcycles at the academy, but it's so thrilling!" Alice exclaimed from her new position in the passenger seat, patting her chest.
Maya frowned as she watched more than ten massive Two-Headed Wolves preparing to pounce from not far away.
Maya recognized these Two-Headed Wolves, an alien species that could easily match the speed of a Hover Motorcycle while running on the unobstructed Dark Space Sand.
Maya knew that if they really tried to run, the Hover Motorcycle would never outrun the Two-Headed Wolf Pack, and she, Alice, and Rek would be intercepted and surrounded by them.
"We can't run anymore. The Two-Headed Wolf Pack is too fast. I'll stay behind to hold them off and give you a chance to escape from this Two-Headed Wolf."
"Rek, take Alice and head towards the Academy Fortress quickly. Don't worry about me; I've already sent out a distress signal." Maya drew her longsword from her waist and said resolutely.
As soon as she finished speaking, Maya heard the loud roar of the Hover Motorcycle starting up rapidly beside her.
Rek and Alice, these two students, didn't even say a polite word or hesitate; they swiftly executed her command for the first time and drove their Hover Motorcycle away quickly.
Now only Maya was left to face over a dozen Two-Headed Wolves, an alien species.
Maya felt a mix of anger and relief. She could only wield her Pride Moon Longsword and, after undergoing Genetic Mecha Armor Transformation, charged into the midst of the Two-Headed Wolf Pack to engage in fierce combat.

Rek, driving the Hover Motorcycle, followed his memory as he searched with Alice on the Dark Space Sand. After about half an hour, they finally found the rumored entrance to the Ancient City buried beneath the sand.
Rek placed the seeds he had bought earlier from the Grocery Store at Sanctuary Base into a stone depression recorded in the rumors.
To their surprise, the ground cracked open into a small cave. Unfortunately, the opening was too small for the Hover Motorcycle to enter.
Rek and Alice jumped off the Hover Motorcycle and cautiously walked into the cave.
"Here are two bombs, hold them well. This is the remote control.
The red remote corresponds to the red bomb, and the green remote corresponds to the green bomb.
The effective detonation range is fifty meters. You must throw the bombs into the Death Flower Pod before detonating them.
If detonated outside, it won't effectively destroy the Seed Pod. Time is tight; I've only made six bombs, so don't waste them." Alice said to Rek as she walked, handing him a red and a green ball, each about the size of a fist, along with two small palm-sized remotes.
Rek took the bombs and remotes, carefully attaching them to his protective suit's belt. He thought to himself that Alice better not be colorblind; otherwise, if he mixed up the bomb remotes, he could be in danger.
At that moment, Alice also summoned the Fighting Saint Monkey.
The Fighting Saint Monkey wielded a long metal rod as a weapon. Alice also gave Victorious Monkey two bombs and their corresponding remotes.
The three of them exited the passage and found themselves in a space resembling a vast underground cavern.
The ground in this cavern was covered with pink flowers, creating a beautifully charming garden.
Deep within this garden, there were Six Huge Flower Pods located at the far end.
"Death Flower Sea! A beautiful yet deadly ocean of flowers," Rek recalled the evaluations people had of the rumored Death Flower Sea from his previous life.
"Watch your step; there are small Seed Pods hidden beneath these little pink flowers. Those small Seed Pods should also be able to grow some green humanoid Alien Species monsters.
The small pink flowers only reveal a tiny part above ground; underground, there are still Seed Pods growing green humanoid Alien Species," Alice said aloud.
"How do we get past this long distance with those Green Mutants underground?
I remember during the war with humanity in my Previous Life, these Green Mutants displayed considerable combat power near the Main Plane of Earth passage." Rek hesitated and did not move forward.
"Don't worry, since they are Green Mutants, they are inherently afraid of high temperatures and flames; that won't change. Now, hundreds of Green Mutants had emerged from underground into the blazing inferno.
More than ten were killed by the incendiary bombs that struck below ground, but the surrounding Alien Species still gathered around, encircling not far from the flames.
Rek gritted his teeth and activated his Genetic Mech's defensive capabilities to charge forward.
Fortunately, Rek's Genetic Mech had previously upgraded its evolutionary abilities, allowing him to temporarily withstand the high temperatures.
Along the way, some green humanoid Alien Species crawled out from underground biological sacs.
However, the Green Mutants' movement speed was reduced by the flames, and they were quickly eliminated by Rek, Alice, and Victorious Monkey working together.
The trio charged toward the area near the Six Huge Flower Pods.
Looking at the six massive Seed Pods, I noticed that their roots extended deep into a dark red crystalline wall at the back, connected to the innermost part of the cave.
"That dark red crystal isn't just a wall; it's the Crystal Barrier formed by mixed gases near the Energy Flower Sea Pool Water.
In my Previous Life, I experimented with it. This Crystal Barrier has a very high hardness; my weapon couldn't break through it at all.
The six roots of the Six Huge Flower Pods penetrate this dark red crystal, and the Seed Pods absorb energy from the Energy Flower Sea Pool Water behind the Crystal Barrier.
